I got my replacement machine this morning, put 3 vest tops in, on no 9 rapid wash, it came up on screen time 2 30, I was so fed up, I’ve just watched this and found it very helpful, nice clear, calming voice, mine is white model noNSWM743U W U.K...so I’m sure it must be the same workings, I shall keep this you tube to hand as I’ve got the most awful headache trying to get a short hot wash, telling about the rapid button was a help I hadn’t even noticed that...thank you so much x
It will be similar to your machine, some of the design will have changed a little bit but most of the programmes should be the same. Most manufacturers are getting rid of quick hot washes and just putting on Eco programmes, which is good if you want an efficient wash but can take a long time to wash.

The instruction manual is totally useless when explaining how to remove the soap drawer. Your video made it very clear, thankyou for posting.
I actually pulled out the drawer yesterday and gave it a good clean. Based on the instructions in the manual I would NEVER have been able to remove it. The manual misses out the fact you show that once the right side of the drawer is lifted it needs to be pulled forward and it slides out on the rail. I gave the runners a spray of silicone before reinstalling and that made it slide into place easily. Thanks again.
Wow i love those Hotpoint Waahing machines! 🎉😍 But the Prewash function is missing.
Unfortunately people are mainly wanting quick wash programs rather than longer programs with pre wash. Unless clothes are really dirty, the pre wash isn't really required now
@@lords-electrical Oh ok. I guess it is just only Samsung and Bosch only do Prewash.

My drawer isn't blocked it simply has no out flow. So conditioner isn't being used. Major design flaw thought I was being stupid.

You’ve shown me a few features I didn’t know about so that’s great. My question is For the fast 30 cycle where do you put the liquid? I’ve heard it’s only liquid for this feature
Liquid is recommended for shorter programmes as it can dilute and start working quicker than gel pouches or tablets.

HERES HOW TO DO IT!
step 1: turn the dial to program 1 and switch off , turn the dial to program 2 and switch on , then turn the dial to program 1 and switch off , turn the dial to program 3 and switch off , then turn the dial to program 1 and turn on then turn to spin
step 2: press start
I think mine has a build up in the hose under the soap dispenser. It's gurgling and water isn't going down fast enough so water comes out of the soap draw
If water is coming out the soap drawer, first of all check to see if the drawer is located properly, or you could try turning the water pressure down a little bit to see if that helps
@@lords-electrical we've realised we've never done a 60 degree wash, so could be clogged undesolved soap residue. We've rinsed the tray, thrown hot water down the soap hose and giving it a few different 60 degree washes to see what happens. 👌

How do you drain the water inside? The water doesn't drain!
Is there any point to use the Rinse & Drain programme at the end of say 45mins Programme? Or does every Programme have a Drain process anyway?

Hi @lords electrical , when assembling my machine the small loose blue fabric softener measure in the soap dispenser tray fell behind the tray, I took out the tray and it has fallen into the rubber hose. How would i go about getting it out or will it eventually work it's way to the pump i.e coins etc?
Not too sure about behind the soap drawer, but the access to the pump is normally behind the flap at the bottom of the machine

Do you mean there is water in the soap drawer at the end of the wash? If it is then this can be normal as it sends a certain amount of water through the soap drawer at the end of the wash to clean it through.

Hi Jessica, if you want the extra rinse you normally need to select that before you start the programme going. As far as the delay, you normally press the delay button for the number of hours before you want the machine to start. Not sure if this helps?

My Hotpoint washing machine is so noisy when it's spinning. It's not rocking on the feet and the concrete bolts are tight. It was a nice quiet machine for the first year but the past 5 years its been terrible. Does anyone else have this problem?
Hi. I took my soap draw out to wash and then I tried to put it back but it was a bit hard to put back in.Eventually It went back in but I turned the washing machine on , but water started to leak out of the bottom of the soap draw whilst it was inside.I turned it off and took it out and inside it was flooded.Help please.

How do u do a white wash ? What buttons do u use ?
You would normally select the cotton programme and either 60 or 90 degrees for the whites.
Is there a link to this machine if it doesn't spin?? Mine stopped spinning and need advice or a video on this one
Couple of things. Just make sure it is not just a couple of items you are trying to spin as washers don't like small loads to spin. Also just check the waste pipe isn't blocked as if the machine can't pump the water out properly then the washer may not spin.

I have this hot point washing machine. It's only 6month old.....however couple issues I have with it.
1. Can anyone explain the soup draw. There is 3 sections......in the left section with the blue lid what goes in there..my one is filled up with water for some reason....? .....what goes in the middle and what goes on the right ?
2. My clothes when they come out they smell of dampness , some nasty smell it never smells nice...

Steven Paul Walker I know the left side is to put the liquid stuff in it. However the design is crap because in that compartment there is a 1inch pipe which the liquid is ment to go into it... but the question is how does the liquid go upwards into the pipe ..there is no suction soo how does it go up there. . When my wash finishes the liquid is still in the compartment and i get stinky fcuking clothes ... time to call the warrantee ppl
I've just got mine today and been reading the destruction sheets. If you are using liquid , you have to use the small partition piece in compartment A. The liquid probably goes up the tube by siphoning action. If using powder you have to put the partition in the slot in compartment B to the left side. This probably diverts water to wash the powder into the drum. Mine seems to be working with method 1 in compartment A. Hope that helps? :)
Steven Paul Walker I went to the store and bought the tablets that you just throw inside the drum with the clothes, instead of using the the container to put your liquid and powder in .....the clothes still came out smelling yuck!!!! It's time to call the big boys, to sort it out.

Is there a little key symbol on the display? If there is then it will have the child lock enabled. Unlock this (normally by pressing the child lock button if it has one) then you should be good to go.
I’m probably too late to reply here but if your machine was made between 2014 and 2018 then it’s been recalled due to faulty door locks.

I have this machine, the softener is not dispensing the water pressure is fine and the water is coming through it's a brand new machine what is the darn issue
First of all just make sure you are putting it in the correct compartment. It should be in the blue one on the left of the drawer. Also you may find if you turn the pressure of the water up that may help as well.
What to do if the machine shakes likes mad and moves
The first thing to check is that the transit bolts have all been removed. If you haven't removed them all then it will damage the machine and jump around.

This is the child lock that has been enabled. if you unlock it then you will be able to carry on washing.

Couple of things, you may have accidently locked the machine, if so press the "Key Lock" symbol for 2 seconds, or try pressing the "Start / Pause" button for 3 seconds to see if it unlocks the machine. Good Luck!!
Lords Electrical i have tried both but the red lock keeps flashing only when i press start after a few seconds it start to bleep, i checked the filter and everything is ok.
He did not say where to put the soap, the vanish oxi and the softener. I watched the whole thing to see where to put the oxi thing

I think if you press the key lock button for 3 seconds that should get rid of the child lock facility
