I had this exact bike for a year before I traded it in for the Keeway superlight 125. The superlight is slower than than the Yamaha Ys 125 but the riding position is far more comfortable for me, and besides most of my riding on it is within a few miles of my town so high top speed is not essential since I have a faster bike as well. That being said the most I got out of it was 110 km/h. Were you going down hill with the wind behind you?
Haha its funny because I selling my superlight for one of these. I do more long distance stuff so it's a shame but it keeps breaking down after 2 years and it's nearly impossible to get parts for it I the UK.
Yeah its a good bike to start with, they are pretty cheap to run, I pay £25 py tax £300 py insurance and only £9.90 on fuel to fill, you could easy get 200mpg city driving
