I enjoyed watching the 90's series on tv as a child but before there was this series, there was the 1966 cartoon, The Incredible Hulk with the late Bill Bixby and Lou Ferigno, and the 80's Hulk cartoon! The 90's cartoon was fun and so was the live series with Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno in the 70's! Favorite Hulk quotes: " Don't make me angry! You wouldn't like me when I am angry". " HULK SMASH!!!", " That's my secret, I'm ALWAYS ANGRY!", " Puny God!"
Beautiful 2D animation. So vibrant, especially when he transforms and how they add black for shadows, makes action sequences look more dramatic, and puts most of today's 2D shows to shame.

Why are there so many shows from the 90s that are cartoons that became really dark then changed because the Spencers thought it was too dark only for them also discontinued the series but those of us as adults now still remember these dark animated series as awesome
In the Ghost Rider episode, when Betty and Rick told Hulk that they are not his friends and they wish that he'd just get out of their lives and leave them alone, subsequently causing the Hulk to go on a rampage was the single darkest moment in the entire show. That whole thing with the Hulk saying, "Friends?" And Betty saying, "No, Hulk, we're NOT your friends..." Almost makes me want to cry.
I loved this series... She Hulk flirting with Be Grimm was just hilaruous in the episode 'Fantastic Fortitude'. I was in my late teens tho....so Season 2 was a bit....goofy....at times.
Too bad this show couldn’t maintain the dark, brooding tone of the first season once She-Hulk basically took the spotlight away from the Hulk in the second season. Gray Hulk was completely wasted here
This is Grey Hulks best animated appearance to date I'm pretty sure. Definitely coulda been used better but in modern marvel shows, it's usually only a visual cameo
Never knew Neal McDonough voiced Bruce Banner. I was a fan of this series. Season 1 especially. Could you do a story about the 80's cartoon too? That one was even darker. Unfortunately that version isn't on Disney Plus.

Is like if you added one to the list for a spiderman cartoon. "Here another dark moment on our list. Peter Parker feels the need to hide his identity to avoid his loved ones getting harmed. What a dark moment in his life 😓" " now for number nine with the dark knight, a dark and mature moment in Batman's life was whe he lost his parents."
So much wasted potential 4 Hulk movies n it’s not like there isn’t any leftover material from the first movie or anything from comics that Marvel could use 4 the Hulk in terms of making more/ better movies
Betty is SOMETIMES a blonde just not always, she sometimes dyes her hair different colors as a disguise or just to see what she would look like as somebody with a different hair color. At the time this show was made she had dyed her hair blonde.

Innocent blood was my favorite episode. The ending was so bittersweet

I wish Season 2 had kept the darker tone of 1. It still had some levity without compromising the maturity.
This series was my intro to the Hulk as a kid.
