How do you recommend working the retrieve on a sting eye? Steady reel or jerk? I have a #3 silver and #4 gold. I love them and they have great action I’m just not sure I’m getting the most out of them.

you can do a steady retrieve especially in current - but if you want, you can also twitch it periodically, as well as pause it periodically and let it helicopter fall - you should also vary your retrieve, a slower retrieve is typically better, but if the fish are really aggressive, you can speed up the retrieve as well - good luck out there :)

@@thundermistlures I went out 2-3 over the holiday both plunking and bottom bouncing between Queenston and Reif with no luck. Also did not see anyone else catching so it was nice to see your video.

I’ve been down to whirlpool at least 10 times and I can’t quite figure out where you are. Even with cable car in sight. Did you down the long hike then go right past the big concrete square platform or are you around the bend the other way down river?

Get the bite on ! LoL 😂
What's your favorite rod and reel setup?
I just got a Penn Spinfisher VI 3500 reel and a st croix triumph rod 6.6" .. it's the first time I spent a lot of money on a reel and rod setup of great quality but I'll need to catch a big walleye to test it out lol

    • @thundermistlures

for general fishing, i like a medium power, 1 pc, 7 ft rod with a matching reel that is not to big :)

Shame on that helicopter pilot for trying to ruin an IVO classic.
Like to see that guy take a peanut bunker off the noggin.
