Eric Embry is an all time favorite of mine. He's one of those guys who had me running home from school to see him on ESPN back in the 80's.

Me too. His angle really did bring back world class for a time. It was fun to watch. Lots of gimmick matches that had some heat. Great commentary as well that didn’t get mentioned surprisingly during this interview. They weren’t selling out reunion arena but they were selling out the sportatorium. Good memories. Hard to believe that was back in the late 80’s!

Eric Embry’s heel run in Memphis in 1991 is amazing work. He was tremendous. He had a great catch phrase.... “I do what I want, man.”

Eric Embry is one of the last great Territory Bookers/Wrestlers that has been forgotten in time. That reverse psychology booking of turning World Class heel to change the name to USWA was great stuff.

I like listening just to hear Gerry say Rassling.. real heavy emphasis on the R. Cracks me up everytime. Anyway Eric Embry was an excellent wrestler in his time. Kinda built like a chicken but face or heel he could talk them into the building. Great to see he’s doing well.

Glad to see this one, especially with Eric and Gerry's history. There is just not enough interviews with Eric and he is entertaining as hell and tells it like it is. I have listened to his highspots and stone cold interviews a hundred times

Hey Eric how are you doing buddy? Have you seen this stuff that the referee David Manning has started claiming to have had the book in Dallas and is taking credit for all of Gary's ideas? Now he wasn't ever anything other than a ref and Fritz's gopher and stooge was he ?@@ericembry2572

That's one of the best things about Eric. He got away from wrestling so long ago and stayed out of it that his living doesn't depend on it. So Eric is pretty honest and tells it like he sees it. He doesn't have to kiss people's ass to make a living
