Yes it was the greatest time in pro wrestling...such a fun time to be a fan and to witness the (Monday Night Wars) I was 15 years old and I Just started my freshman year in High School when it all started in 1996, when Kevin Nash & Scott Hall jumped to WCW and the NWO was created, and by the time the Attitude Era started, I was a Junior in High School in 1998 and I graduated High School in 1999 at the peak of the Attitude Era at 18 years old....what a fun ride that was and I am so honored and fortunate enough to watch greatness and the most exciting time in pro wrestling. When people a wrestling fan was hip thing and I was pro wrestling merchandise everywhere, Pro wrestling was on late night talk shows, afternoon talk shows, Morninf talk shows, SNL, MTV, VH1, MAdTV, they were in commercials, music videos, game shows...I remember watching a promo feud between The Rock & Stone Cold on MTV TRL, talking about there next Pay-per-view against eachother, They were on A very popular MTV show called (Celebrity Death Match)...pro Wrestling became pop-culture phenomenons...and for a few years People weren't ashamed to admit they loved pro wrestling...you had kids using the pro wrestling hand signatures at schools...my grandmother would watch all the time. I wish we can all re-live it all again...now you have Social Media and to many people know too much about the pro wrestling business, they have UA-cam channels acting like Dirt sheets and all they do is spoil everything...you have so many know it all's now, and when you know way to much and you worry to much about the in's and out's of pro wrestling...like who got fired, who took a shit, who bullied this person....shit with the cancel Culture and the SJW nowadays, and what they call, all The crazy Smart Marks....it's unbearable to enjoy it now. Back then we didn't have to worry about that, we only watched to have fun, we cheered for our favorites and only cared if they won, we only got invested in storylines, we weren't "woke" we didn't complain about hot chicks on television, we wanted to see beautiful people...we didn't care if they can wrestle or not. We had fun and couldn't wait to tune in the next week...I didn't even know anything about dirtsheets and can careless what they thought...causel fans watched in record numbers....We watched without knowing to much, you can't enjoy it when you know to much...back then they had a little bit of everything for everyone. It was truly a special time, we will never see the likes those Amazing years again...we definitely will never see ratings like that again that's for sure. I got to be a child and a kid during the WWE's first Golden Era in the Rock "N" Wrestling Era 85-90 and I got to be a teenager in High School when pro wrestling was at it's peak and music was at it's best...and I turned 20 year's old when the Monday Night Wars finally ended in 2001...got enjoy my early 20's during the Ruthless Aggression Era. In the words of one of the most underrated ECW Tag Teams (Public Enemy)..."yAddy Di da Di" it was a great party. (1996-2001)
For both sides for Monday night wars. ....it was very good for both sides......for getting the product out there....and all companies big & small making money. ......Mike from. Minnesota
Late 90s was must tune in every single week without fail wrestling times. Can't watch todays WWE product its just beyond sub-standard, scripted and sterile
I take back what I said about Gerald Brisco. He is not a low-key instigator. He instigates right out front in your face. I want to be friends with Gerald Briscoe
WWF / WWE (George Bush) vs. WCW+nWo / NWA (Bill Clinton) (the Monday Night Wars) and of course, the Third (Independent) Party, in South Philly (Ross Perot) = ECW (Barbed Wire City; the world's famous Bingo Hall / Viking Hall). Vince McMahon (the "New York" territory = WWE) vs. Eric Bischoff (WCW) vs. Paul Heyman / Paul E. Dangerously (ECW)
Still.a loooong way to go with the care of performers! Especially after there done in the ring! These guys generate billions of dollars these days and need better aftercare later on in life and while they do what they do. 52 weeks a year is way to much on the body.
Man they sold me good.. for a minute.. I thought WCW was back in Business again 😂😂😂😂😂😂
First five minutes of this is already better than the last decade of professional wrestling.
WWE, specifically.
agree
True!
@@jakeinator722 What else is there? AEW? It's like WWE but with no real talent.
TNA? Same as AEW. Gymnasts pretending to be wrestlers.
I've always liked Eric. A nice chap who definitely knows his stuff. Thank you for having him on. And thanks to Eric for coming on.
@Sarah Dunworth I concur! Conrad often grates on my last nerve in his podcasts, but Eric never fails to both entertain and inform me. :-)
Great interview. This interview would have been *unthinkable* 20 years ago. Time really does heal all wounds!
Wow! Three absolute LEGENDS
Bischoff was an absolute heel during his Raw GM run. When he came back to RAW a few years ago with a massive pop, man just showed how much impact he did after all those years
I've listened to alot of Bischoff shoots. This one is an instant classic. Great chemistry. You better not let Conrad run you to off the podcast world.
Conrad is the shits. He has the charisma of a spoon.
@@jamesedmonds7519 drissling shits

I can't believe I didn't know JBL and Jerry had a show. Good shit here.

Best podcast ever! Can't believe eric said John is a fake cowboy!
Usually these podcasts have a host and a talent... These are basically two warhorses going at it. Love it
You mean wrestler and a mark
Brisco and Bradshaw has so much chemistry and then when you add The Bisch™ you have absolute gold
" Billionaire Connie " that's hilarious lol

Great work fella's- best presentation of Eric.
You guys are hilarious. You definitely are the missing link as far as these interviews go. Its always good to listen to y'all, xpac, JR, Hannibal.
John Cena's heel turn is literally sticking his foot out. I think I just put him down on my list of legends 🤣
What the hell is this?? This is AMAZING!! 3 minutes into this and I'm freaking losing my mind.
I love listening to these podcast
Damn they still got it. Great episode gentleman
the older we all get , Eric is looking more like a smaller Billy Gunn without the tan , PMSL . Thank you all great show
I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE THIS!!!!

Sounds like you learned pretty much everything about wrestling dude don’t ruin it more
25 years later and the Monday night wars rage on.
Eric Bishoff was difference maker with wrestling in the 1990s…..
Apart from Vince McMahon, Rock and Austin, the most important figure in wrestling in the last 30 years
Pretty kool ! Briscoe is a class act all 3 together was really intriguing
Vince got beat by a blind guy in high school wresting. I love Brisco
Clear understanding
RIP....HOWARD FINKER
In the late 1990s WCW,rap music and New York Yankees dominated that era…..
@no step on snek! what is rap music???
Tony has said the money that they got for thunder was used to buy the hockey team
This is brilliant better than wwe raw 👏
Ok. Gerald Brisco opened the podcast cutting off JBL to do a quick promo on their guest Eric Biscoff. Generations of legendary.

Hey john....you need to get Jimmy corn nuts .on....
Surprise Vince didn't go....he always says. .(.well it's good for business )
looks like bischoff is taking a drag off a vape pen in the thumbnail
Horrible adult language. I love the showmanship and drama, calling each other out at the start. Busting my chops lol
So odd thinking how Gerald Brisco, stooge #2, was a legit bad ass
Please have on Bret Hart. I want to hear Briscoe tell how Bret ran him off when he beat up Vince Mcmahon.
Hey yo, I think we need another survey to show NWO is truly 4-life.
P.S. as NWO fans my friends and I really enjoyed the finger poke of doom.

Gerald Brisco why did you and your brother sell out to McMahon and kill the territories and essentially the whole wrestling industry ? Why ?
Because there in this business to actually make money!!
They Killed GCW wrestling by going behind Ole Anderson's Back...
Hilarious!
