We were located just a town over from where he lives and I’ll Never forget his son’s funeral parade: everything was shut down all the way to Jefferson Barracks where he was buried. So many people were lined up on bridges and overpasses to say good bye to this brave warrior. As a veteran his impact will never be forgotten.

of equipment, and strategic interaction in world situations.
The consequences should be on the ones making the irresponsible decision to pull out in a manner contrary to the advise of many advisors - Joe Biden and his "yes" men/women.
It is sad when the "Commander in Chief" (who never served in the military) of the military, ignores the advice of military advisors who understand what is goin on and understands the ramifications of such decisions, and goes on to give orders, not based on evidence, but for the sake of hoping for personal political reasons.

I am a Vietnam vet. My 18 year old Grandson recently graduated from high school. I can't imagine encouraging him to join the military under this administration.
I have a grandson that was going to join the British Army I discouraged him from joining I served for 32 years in the military serving in the Falklands war Northern Ireland troubles the first gulf war and finally Bosnia my grandfather fought in the battle of the Somme my father a young nineteen old went in on D Day. and finished up in Malaya I look back now and think was it all worth it I am glad I have more years behind me than I have in front of me as the politicians have steadily but surely phucked this world up I am hopefully the last of my family that serves what was a country worth fighting for and giving my life for like my forefather's before me did😔

They are hanged if they do and hanged if they don’t. Too often they are hung out to dry on the whims of totally despicable politicians who care nothing for the people. Trump had a plan to slowly pull troops out as long as the Taliban held their end of the peace talks. Biden threw that plan into the garbage simply because it was Trumps plan and decided to pull all of the troops out in one move without keeping the Taliban in check or any kind of security plan.

It is true that Trump did want to pull out of Afghanistan, but the military advisors explained why that would be a bad idea and explained the ramifications of such a poor decision. Trump gave it thought and decided they were correct and dropped his desire to pull out.
The same with Biden. He also wanted to pull out for political reasons (as did Trump. However Biden ignored the advice of the military advisors and the consequences of such a poor decision.
Biden was only thinking that such a move would give him a bump in the polls and ignored many advisors and gave the order. The results were the disaster we are now aware of and it happened just as his advisors told him it would

I served 30+ years... including my time at Bagram. Im an aviation loadmaster...i served 15 short tours, at Bagram. I flew my entire career, involved in almost every US conflict, from 1989-2016... my time in Afghanistan, flying aboard our C-130's, I've carried more body bags than I'll ever care to remember... still haunts me, to this day. For this Father and family, no, I don't know your pain, but I was one of those, who picked up service members, right after they were gone... probably before their families even knew that they went to be with God. I had been to Bagram so many times, i had over 500 volunteer hours, working there, at the Pat Tillman USO, there...workef on my off time...i wouldn't even know who actually reads the comments...i suppose it doesn't matter...my prayers are with this father and his family. I lived it, everyday...2003-2011...
