I’m 75, so for me this is a trip down memory lane! My beautiful mother loved all these shades. By the time I was old enough to wear Revlon lipsticks (early 1960’s) these vibrant colors were giving way to the pale, frosted tints of the “Mod” Era. By the 1970’s, the darker reds were “in” again. I currently own and wear all of these delicious colors. They are timeless (as am I)! 😉 Great video!
Such a fun idea for a video! I think brands will 100% benefit from keeping classic shades in circulation/bringing them back. Style goes in cycles, and tbh red lipstick is one of the few things which never goes out of fashion. All the shades look lovely on you, but Cherries in the Snow maybe suits you best out of all of them. 😘
I love this video ❤️ My all time favorite lipstick is Cherries in the Snow. The only thing that would make it better would be vintage style packaging. Wouldn’t that be awesome?
I have noticed how hard it is to find just a medium neutral/warm watermelon pink. Cherries in the Snow is beautiful and has/had a matching nail polish. It’d go well with MAC Beet lipliner. It’s very similar color-wise imo to NARS Luxembourg, L’oreal Freida’s Red and MAC Damn Glamorous. The Lustrous formula is very slippy and I have a hard time trusting that it’s staying in place and not on my teeth, otherwise I’d wear it much more.
Help!! The first lipstick I ever bought was Revlon’s Super Lustrous Honey Vanilla. I was 13 and it was 1960. I found one on EBay but the color had turned orange. Can you help me find it? And could you find a dupe? Help please!!!
Great video! Red lipstick is a classic choice, great to see them on your hand to compare which is more pink, coral, etc. With the resurgence of color theory (seasonal color) your timing is excellent. Some items never go out of style❤
That is a good one and it was marketed as a shade that would look good on all skin tones. It is the only super lustrous lipstick that has a scent to it; vaguely like strawberries and champagne or something.

Did you know that Revlon almost get bankrupted? Maybe it forces them to cut some products out, I don't know
I got love is on by Revlon,

I have a bunch of Revlon lipsticks. I have been a fan of Revlon since the 90's.
