It’s crazy to me that all these rappers can make wildly expensive jewelry purchase without consulting their own experts first. There is so much that goes into pricing jewelry. It really is crazy and knowledge is power. If you haven’t already you should make a video or two with some of the basic things people should watch out for when buying. You could also make a video talking about the differences between the appraised insurance price and what a piece would actually sell for in a store.
Sometimes they don't care. It's all about the "statement". If someone goes around saying they spent say more than what the value on a Rolex is, 9/10 people won't know the difference. They'll think he has so much money it won't bother him.
That is assuming they actually paid that price. I sometimes think they fudge the truth a bit on how much they spend on jewelry.

I personally love when people destroy the value of their watches 🤷🏼♂️ I snagged a used stainless steel Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore with the VS diamond dial and they decided to fully bust down the band with an all diamond bezel to match. The original receipt for the watch was just over $72k and I walked out with it for a little less than $28k and within the year, I resold it for just over $34k 🤷🏼♂️ another person trash is another’s re-up 😂
