doing my first ever head gasket replacement. and this video really helped. ill be doing the chain kit also when i do the head but this video helped me understand the half moon tool!
Hi Baz, loving your videos. I've watched all of your corsa timing chain videos and I have learned a lot. I've got a Corsa D with a Z12XEP engine. I've removed the valve cover to check the timing with the locking tools and all the pieces slot into position without any issue, there's no chain lift / slack at all but the car still gives a P0016 code, the MIL stays off. Any tips? Thanks a lot.
by any chance?... changed both cams on my girlfriends z12xep and now got a lumpy idle. I've checked numerous things. but yours is the first time I've heard the lifters shouldn't contain oil when reinstalling, when I put new lifters in I added oil to them all, through the side hole. could this be my issue do you think. Great video, wish id seen this one before I attempted the chain and cams
great work love how you keep the gasket for the bolts you have removed
little things make the job easier
I miss the old vauxhall, so easy and simple to work on. Shame they got sold to PSA

Great vid. I'm doing it end of this month. Hoping the camshafts won't need doing 🤞🏻

What plate was this car? I’m thinking of buying a 14 plate 50 miles but after looking up about them I’m thinking twice
Not a bad little job these
Nice work Baz 🤙🏼
Cheers buddy 🤙
The amount of these i hear driving by is ridiculous lol how they are still going is beyond me lol
Would you be able to do a timing chain on a Nissan Almera Tino with a 1.8 QG18DE engine?
New subscriber 👌👌
Don't stick your fingers there and start engine up. Unwise.
