Is the broken arm why they created a medley for the Tony Awards minus any Belle solo I wonder? It seems so strange that they would omit the main character's songs but make sure they include Gaston and Lumiere.
once upon a time in a faraway land a young prince lived in a shining castle. Although he had everything his heart desired, the prince was spoiled, selfish and unkind. One winter's night an old beggar woman came to the castle and offered him a *single pale rose*....... sorry, I had to, I'll show myself out
So I was searching Susan Egan... And I get a video that features 3 men singing with maybe a 2 words from Susan...Well hopefully my next search is more productive.
@@annechovy63 From what I remember from the video, she was directing a high school or college production and being extremely comparative and self-righteous about her Broadway history.
Yes it’s him. The prologue and If I cant love her were prerecorded, while the other songs weren’t. When Terrance comes out of the castle as a beast in the prologue, it’s another take. They edited that transformation transition so smoothly that I couldn’t even notice it back then when I watched it.
While Emma was severely autotuned while singing, I still found her to be a lovely Belle. She brought her own fresh take to the character. BTW it's possible to praise one woman without tearing another one down...just saying.
I love how she ends up becoming Megara in Hercules.
Haus of Gemini then rose in Steven universe
declan mangan Don’t forget Spirited Away
@@marshallulises5918 what the live musical ?
The Toney Awards: So what would you like to include in your performance?
BatB: Yes
I love how at the end a bit of Susan’s cast from her broken arm was sticking out from her yellow sleeve😂I love it so much!!! I can’t stop laughing!
Calamity Belle xD

Let’s not forget about David Ogden Stiers (the opening narrator), Heath Lamberts (Cogsworth) and Tom Bosley (Maurice).
Those guys passed away as well.
The soundtrack is magic, and with the voices I feel like I'm within the tale

Was Terrence doing the Prince in the beginning? Because that might have been a big change from him turning into the beast into the end.
Yes

Was this the only time they got the real Beast actor to play him as the prince in the prologue?
Omg i didn't expect to see you here
They could’ve gotten someone as beautiful and talented as Susan for the live action, but they went with Emma Watson 😒
Emma’s pretty but in terms of looks and vocal abilities, she ain’t no Belle.
@@offgun6466 yep

Hell, they could have even just casted her and I wouldn't have batted an eyelash.
Emma Watson has a great singing voice actually just Disney decided to auto tune the heck outta it
WTF SHE BARELY SANG
Does anyone know who Susan lost out to that year?
