NEW 4” Lift Spindles on the OBS Chevy C1500

- Ever since we did the LS Swap in the OBS, the truck has always had a mean squat in the front and it makes the truck look tired. Not to mention that the 5.3 LM7 Oil Pan hangs below the crossmember about 2.5” which puts it in a pretty vulnerable spot so I ordered some 4” Lift spindles online and figured that I would include you guys in on how to install them.
The spindles were actually quite simple to install and any competent mechanic could probably have these installed in less that 3-4 hours. I cut and edited this video in order to save time but I pretty much covered everything step by step the best that I could.
I would Highly recommend replacing your flex lines that lead to your brake calipers for slightly longer ones.
Overall I am very pleased with the look of the truck now it rides no different than it did when it was stock. Before the spindles, I had installed 3” coil spring spacers and the truck rode terrible and was Dangerous to drive so I removed them immediately and decided to go with the spindles instead. I’m glad that we did. The truck rides and looks great!!
These are to lift a 2wd. I am not going to mention where I ordered these spindles from but they can be ordered online from a number of different sources. They’re all being middlemaned from china anyways so it really doesn’t matter.

I did the same to my obs.
Could you tell me your rims and tire sizes?
The wheels are 17x9 and the tires are 245/65/r17. They were just some cheap tires I found used. I plan on changing them to a slightly larger size like a 255/75/r17
Dou you have any troubles with the camber ? I installed the same suspension on my truck and its seems like the camber is negative and can't be adjusted
I’ve had no issues. An alignment shop would probably be able to help you out.
Stock suspension in the rear?
Yes. Nothing changed in the rear.
Do You have any troubles with negative camber ? I installed the same suspensión on 92 and i having troubles with the camber alignment
