  • Putting the final touches on the OBS LS Swap project and finally get to see wether or not this thing actually moves or not. Will it drive? I Don’t Know!! You’ll just have to tune in and find out.
I apologize for not including every single detail of the recent progress but truth be told, I just wanted to get in my zone and get this thing done and when I have to stop and film and explain everything, the whole process seems to just take 10 times longer so I figured that I would just get it done and then explain what I did in this video. It’s not like any of you guys actually watch this crap anyways so whatever.
If you actually watch these videos then I appreciate you. There’s a lot of things to watch on you tube and I try to be more educational than entertaining. I also like to be constructive rather than destructive or just another channel that digs rotting cars out of a field and gets them running.

I'm doing a similar swap. I'm getting close to finishing it. Did you block off the evap purge valve. I noticed that you kept the charcoal canister.

I did remove the evap purge solenoid from the intake and I plugged the hole with a small freeze plug that I found that fit. I kept the charcoal canister just so the gas tank vent gets “filtered” through the charcoal canister although it probably isn’t necessary. Also, if you live in an area where they do annual emissions inspections, you can just what’s already there and you would be compliant with emissions I believe.
Either way, you can keep it or remove it. You can also just leave the evap solenoid in the intake to plug the hole and it would be fine.
