These are fabulous, Diane! Can you believe I’ve got a Bind-it-All and have never used it!? You made it look so easy to do. A friend gifted it to me many years ago. You’ve really inspired me to give a smash book a try. Your instructions are very thorough 👍😊 Thank you!
Well, I hope you will that Bind It All out and play with it. Practice on some random papers before you punch a project, just to gain confidence with it. It's really quite easy. Have fun!!
I have been watching your videos for some time now. I am learning to make junk journals and loving that. I think I will make a few smash books for my grandchildren for Christmas and give with some stickers and papers to play with. I did buy a smash book the other day at a thrift store because I remember them being sold in the past and enjoyed them then.
These are lovely! I have an original smash book I found at Goodwill that I've been using as my gratitude journal. I would love to make some of these for my grandchildren! I just need a Zutter bind it all! I think that Pooh one is just adorable!
I love them but the Pooh smash book is my favorite. I don't have one but I would use it for notes on ideas I have for crafting. Thanks for sharing the finishing process using the Zutter, I could do this.... lol Take care & be crafty!
I don't have anything like these books, but I think I want to start with a glue/collage book - I need to get more comfortable with collaging - I love the tall girl card you added - perfect use of such a tall card - Hugs.
All of them are so awesome but I love the grungy one best. I don’t have a smash book but I have a glue book made out of a really large “W” magazine...I glued pages together and lightly gessoed the pages too.
the page with the retro phone came from one of the K and Company 'Smash' books- the "retro style" one. They don't sell them anymore, but maybe you can find them on Ebay or even Amazon. I will make more Smash book, just don't know when. I periodically make glue book and smash books because lots of people want them!
The covers are just the covers from books that I took apart. I just wrapped a strip of scrapbook paper around the raw edge that used to be attached to the spine. I did a little decorating on some. But that's about it. I will be making a couple of smash books very soon, so if you keep watching my channel, I will do the covers on a video, just for you!

I love Smash Books and have a few. I wish they still carried them in stores. I used the wedding version for my son's wedding a few years ago.

Diane H. Thank you.
Hi, is the a video showing how you make your binder covers? would really appreciate watching it x

Thanks so much for this! They are all awesome. How many pages do you recommend to put into one book so there is room to grow?
I like to put about 30 pages in a bind-it-all book. Up to 35.. Once pictures and other ephemera start getting glued in, it fattens up!
@@DianeHubertPrettyPinkCottage thanks so much for your reply. Is that with a 1 inch binding coil?
Would love to hear how you discovered junk journals and how you got started making junk journals.
I have a video on my channel that tells my story. studio.ua-cam.com/users/videoMnfG7m_ytwo/edit/basic
