Snip Snip is a medical version of a Mr. Handy... its was reprogrammed to harvest organs, but its original programming is that of a robotic doctor, hence why it fixed her finger before trying to harvest her organs, that was its original baseline programming, and that wasn't overwritten by the super duper mart guys or whoever would have reprogrammed it
“Ass jerky don’t make itself” The writing on this show is just brilliant
I want that on a T-Shirt...
That line was 100% Goggins, on the spot.
You gotta see him in Vice Principals. Pure comedic genius.
Its clearly the writing that is mainly selling this show, along with the decent acting and finely detailed props and commitment to OG lore.
In Fallout, Ghouls are Humans with an unusual mutation, when they get hit with too much radiation instead of dying, they transform into Ghouls.
They gain a strange healing ability, so they basically don't age, are resistant some drugs like "Jet", radiation doesn't harm them and some can regenerate injuries when exposed to severe radiation.
But the healing factor doesn't work on their skin or brains, so over time ghouls become disfigured and eventually lose their minds and become "Feral", Ferals are much stronger and faster than Humans, basically hyperkinetic Zombies!
Some ghouls seem to be resistant to being feral. There are ghouls in canon that could not have access to any medicine but didn’t go feral.
Nope thats not it. The lore say the mutations are all caused by the FEV virus. Ghouls are just another uncontrolled mutation of the FEV, same as super mutants, or with animals, the Geckos, the Centaurs or the Deathclaws.
@@Zappina I don’t know where you are getting that information but most of the animals were just mutated from radiation. There are some ghouls that did come from FEV but it’s not the norm. FEV isn’t something that’s airborne or passed from one person to another by infection, it’s also man made and does not propagate by itself in nature. In lore, most everyone in the Vault 12 turned in to a ghoul because of radiation, not FEV.
@@Retrovorious FEV is actually airborne. Its in the Fallout lore. FEV is gone to the atmosphere during the nuclear war, so the Vault in Bakersfield is also got air outside with the mutated virus in it. Radiation is actually cause unwanted mutation(as it was explained by "Lou" in the Mariposa military base) and the creation of ghouls and idiotic super mutants. You could also read a lot about the FEV in the Sierra Army Depot. In fact Harold become a ghoul when he contacted with the airborne FEV(and radiation) in the Mariposa base. Richard Gray was actually fell into an FEV vat and became the master while consume every type of DNA while changing so his mutation was quite unique.
@@Zappina Super Mutants, The master and Harold did come from the FEV but the FEV is not propagate through the air like regular virus. What you are talking about is when they experimentally aerosolized it in a solution and purposely made it airborne. It does not transmit by air unless it is forced to do so in a special procedure. It can not survive in the air by itself nor can it spread by contact from one individual to another. Lou never describes the FEV as being airborne so I don’t even know why you mentioned that so I suspect the army based never said that either. What you have is a head canon that goes against the actual lore of the universe.
"Death to management" reads different on rewatch
In the game, you can find iguana bits and iguana on a stick. I have never seen an iguana in Fallout. I think everyone in the wasteland resorts to cannibalism occasionally. 😳
Going feral is something that happens when the ghoul loses focus. Meaning when they lose all the connections to their former humanity. 200+ years being alone, living in horrible condition , being in a horrible condition takes its toll on the mind. I think it is stated in Fallout 3 and in New Vegas that ghouls that have a purpose retain their sanity.
Feral ghouls dont like the taste of Sentient Ghouls (according to Fallout 4), Sentient Ghouls cant seem to taste Anything.
Some people become a ghoul by getting high levels of radiation in Fallout. I might be remembering wrong but besides genetics there is also a man-made virus called FEV(Forced Evolutionary Virus) causes the ghoulification process.
You remember correctly. The FEV is the main cause of the fallout mutations.
FE Virus is the main cause of Super Mutants (and 3rd generation Synths and other life forms), and not Ghouls. Instead Ghouls are primarily the result of how you described them by initially receiving high doses of radiation during the great war. FEV played no part, even though it was created pre-war.
"Why are you pleasing her?!" that's not what she did... Also i think the show introduced a way to become a ghoul that wasnt in the games, it seems they become addicts and i think the juice theire addicted to is somehow in their organs and harvested from them.
Robots can be reprogrammed.
Lucy really needs to take some rad away
As far as I know, most people in Fallout, when subject to too much radiation, just die, but some become ghouls. Think of ghouls as walking humanoid immortal tumors (in the games they can still die of gunshots and knives)
There is a perk in the game that gives the player the ability to eat dead humans and ghouls to restore health. It's gross and funny
If you look closely, Snip Snip is a medical robot. So, it makes sense that he would heal her up first of all before getting to his newer programming of organ harvesting 😂!!
You can't get the best price for a hand if one finger is missing.
Cool. Enjoy 😊
The Golden rule.... He taught her... You take my finger I will take yours. Do unto others!!!
Excellent. I've been hoping for more fallout reactions.
COME TO BRAZIL
Please give the Star Trek franchise a chance. 🖖🖖🏻🖖🏼🖖🏽🖖🏾🖖🏿
Dude. I see you asking like 20 different reactors the same thing
It's a Mr Handy household robot server.
😮
The ghoul has the cannibal perk and also the bloody mess activated 😅
The vials are not in the games.
I don't know too what use! Fallout 4 not use ghouls nothing! Surface better place! That guy all movie and series eating! - Ghouls become 2077-10-22 The End not use Vault-Tec shelter!
Look at the flowers😂😂😂 that's what I thought of too beautiful
The beauty of streamed shows is you're not shoehorned into a certain amount of minutes per episode . . .
Man the surface world is so crazy! 😮
❤😊❤😊😊❤
Love the reactions!
22:10 from the explanation given by Three Dogs, DJ in Fallout 3: ghouls are people who have absorbed a huge dose of radiation and were not lucky enough to die.
their appearance changes and they look like zombies from old horror films, they live a long time, hundreds of years, radiation has no effect on them but over time they become feral and until this TV series there seemed to be no cure for this final condition..
In FO4 the Institute scientist Virgil who became a Super Mutant to escape from the Institute into the radioactive Glowing Sea, made a cure which works, though I think only for him.
BTW your first sentence reminded me of the tag line of the post-nuclear war film, "The Divide" which said, "The Lucky ones died in the blast". Confusing Ghouls for Zombies is a common error for new players because of their appearance. But the truth is more horrifying as they are still living people but 200 years older like Cooper Howard.
Regarding the serum, there's an interesting theory video "is the ghoul being scammed." I wondered when watching why the symptoms of not getting the serum don't seem anything like when they start to turn. My theory is it's cough medicine and he's just addicted to it.
@@j.f.fisher5318 or is it really a medicine that avoids the danger of becoming feral for a limited time and was extracted by organ traffickers from the ghouls they held prisoner
@@j.f.fisher5318 or that is a real medicine that prevents ghouls from becoming feral for a limited time and which was extracted by organ traffickers from the ghouls they held prisoner, basically a kind of indirect cannibalism
I love that song, "Lets go sunning"! In fact I love all the old songs from FO3, FO4 and FNV. As well as all the old songs from the Bioshock series! Though I kind of wish the alternate time line in FO happened after The Beatles and Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd came about, but then right before Disco!
Ghouls are zombies. But sometimes their looks go before their minds.
The robot fixed her finger to put her in better condition so that the ghoul would get better trade value out of her.
Trixie's OF is amazing, guys. Seriously, you wouldn't think she'd be THAT dirty.
I've never seen that because I like her for her intelligence and sense of humor. Not simping. I'm old enough to be her father.
@@billthomas478 Prepared to be gagging because I read that one OF creator had her own father as a subscriber. Can't remember if it was by accident or by design. But yes, Trixie has a great sense of humor, though I don't see her as OF material but she does have a pretty smile.
UPLOAD ANOTHER REACTION, PLZ!
