- What to do when a bougainvillea bonsai will not stop flowering?
Repotting, pruning, fertilizing bougainville bonsai to get it back to a growing state. Using a combination of fertilizer, repot brings this tree back to a growing state needed to develop bougainvillea as a bonsai.

I also agree with your choice of front. The bottom 2/3 of the tree looks like a sitting elephant, with its trunk up in the air, to me.😃👍
Hahaha
Agree for the front ... let see the growing branch up of the trunk... to make the neck of the crown❤
:)
I love bougainvillea! Someday hopefully mine will be that thick... Going for a nice big canopy on mine. I like your choice for front as well!
Yes, let it GROOOOW and et a thicker trunk!
Definitely the front that you have chosen. The trunk flows very well. A lovely looking tree.
Thank you
What a beautiful tree - never need a bougainvillea with such an interesting trunk, and flowers to boot!
:) Lucky to have received this cutting-grown trunk!
Agreed with your choice of front, it'll be much better in the long run!
I hope so!
Definitely agree with your choice Jelle. Lovely looking tree :)
Thank you Xav!
Great video Jelle and some beautiful shots of this tree.
❤
Great tree, and beautiful pot!
Thank you so much! This pot is indeed amazing.
I like the second front with the cascading branch on the left. I think that makes more sense to how the trunk flows and also hides the trunk chop.
Thx!
I think the other side of the tree is the best front 😎Dennis
:) Thx
I'm curious why you would not smooth over that 30mm cut to let it start healing. I almost always smooth cuts as I go. It gives them a head start on healing.
I like the side view at 11:01
I see what you are saying. To me, I just loose too much of the trunk in that perspective.
I think it will look nice in a cascade style
It could but as this is a layer, the roots are pretty much all in the sample plane, and tilting the tree would cause challenes there.
Hadir kaka semangat❤❤❤
Not exactly sure what that means!
Maybe turn it into cascade someday?its like talking to you..."turn me to cascade!! turn me to semi-cascade"😂😂
The rootbase is however not talking that talk!
👍👌🙂
:D
Would love to see some update videos on this tree. I have a few bougs I’m growing as bonsai. Not nearly as big as this fatty though?
This is one of my unhappy trees at the moment. We have had rain since November, it is dark and cold; They do not like this.
hellow sir,can say , what is your bonsai soil recepe sir .

Can you explain why you want the front of the tree over one of the feet on the pot?
Its a round pot.
This is just one of the conventions when using round pots. The font EITHER with a foot right below it, or right in the middle between feet.
