@@AzeronEU The more interesting questions from a competitive standpoint are:
      - Does the Azeron (Cyborg 2) support 'last input priority' comparable with Razers "Snap tap" or Wootings "Rappy Snappy"? Wooting were able to add this feature to their keyboards after release via software update.
Also I would like to know more about the "Omron switches " than their expected lifetime.

I ordered mine and that’s my first Azeron to use. Cyborg 2 is overall is good but there are little things that I can say you guys could’ve do better .
    - I can’t use any usb c cable and due to the type c socket in the joystick it’s designed for spicing cable to go in .
    - I played with joystick for almost 4 hours after a long time to adjusting everything into my hands . And I think I will still need adjust little more . The statement that you won’t feel fatigue compared to the keyboard that not true for me . I was first time to play for that long and I feel the fatigue in my hands while I am using Azeron .
    - I was full of hope that the software will be better than what I saw online but it seems it’s pretty basic and I think you guys need to take this really seriously coz that for sure will make you joystick standout and attract more people to your product .
    - build quality I light the weight of the joystick however I was expecting more polished product specially its version two of the product and try at least smoothing the 3d printed layers . It’s 200+ product at least give the user some quality built .

Nothing sarcastic about the USB-C upgrade. It was the first thing I checked when I heard there was a new version. The other cord is awkward to replace and they don't always fit in the hole on the first Cyborg without shaving down. Everything else is nice but that's the main reason why I'm happy with the upgrade.

    Hi!
I'm researching Cyborg II right now and was wondering if one could change the WASD keybinds of the joystick to Arrow Keys?
I'm looking to play a game called MapleStory one-handed, and because the game is older, I'm unable to change the movement off from the Arrow Keys, hence the question.

I repost since my comment finally doesn't seem to be posted :
A good feature would be to remove the stick from your cyborg azeron (replacing them with classic keys like on the others fingers), and put some kind of platform that fits underneath the cyborg azeron.
These would act as directional keys, and would be activated by the movement of your wrist. So instead of using our fingers on the W A S D keys
(or joystick with thumb (joystick for mooving in apex legends, OverWatch, etc, is really inférior in comparaison to mooving with W A S D keys( keys are more precise and faster than a joystick)))
on a conventional keyboard, we'd use our wrist to move around, freeing up our fingers and making us much more efficient in games that require a lot of keybind.
With your knowledge, I don't think it would be difficult for you to create this rudimentary platform, as it's basically the same operation as a classic arcade joystick wrist, only it would be flat and have to fit underneath and electronically connect with your cyborg azeron.
Give it a try (it won't cost you much), and you'll see that once again you've revolutionized the way you play.

    • @AzeronEU
      @AzeronEU  Місяць тому

We have toyed around with it. Technically it works, but it`s quite heavy and unprecise.
You wouldn't be able to strafe with it in fps games and longer gaming sessions would be killing your wrist

      Thanks for your reply.
I can hardly answer properly since I don't have the engineering or bio-mechanical skills, nor for that matter the object you're talking about in front of my eyes or in my hand, but here's my counter-argument anyway, if it's any use and even if I may be wrong:
      “it's pretty heavy”
I don't think that's really a problem. It belongs on a desk, whether it's heavy or light is of little importance.
      “not very precise”
For MMORPGs, movement precision is pretty secondary. Freeing up the fingers is more of a priority, I think.
For other games, it could indeed be a problem, but maybe it's a design problem on your part and not a problem in itself that can't be solved, because fundamentally there's no reason why the wrist should necessarily be less precise than the fingers.
In fact, I think the opposite is true. The bio-mechanics of the wrist, as regards transverse movements in space, allow more freedom and precision than those of the fingers, and for example the fast right-left movement (fast straf in overwatch) with the wrist is faster than an alternating right-left movement with two fingers.
In case you've done otherwise: we talk about “micro”-movements of the wrist, movements equivalent to clicking a keyboard key with the fingers. They don't have to be big wrist movements.
“long gaming sessions would kill your wrist.”
Yes, the wrist tires more quickly than the fingers, but wrists move with muscles, and muscles gain endurance as they are used.
Personally, I have no problem with this. On the contrary, I'd feel more connected to video games. More immersion and efficiency in my MMORPG for a little temporary wrist discomfort? No problem for me. And we're talking of wirst micro movement... the tireness is more than supportable
In any case, if it doesn't cost you much to make and doesn't damage your brand's reputation, I think it's still a profitable business, even if it's not perfect or less good in action games.

      @AzeronEU  Місяць тому +1

@@igor-b7h For the heavy part - it`s a bit importance when it comes to prolonged use.
If we leave the precision out, there is still big risk of wrist injury.
Muscles can gain endurance, but also repetetive stress injury

      @@AzeronEU
"For the heavy part - it`s a bit importance when it comes to prolonged use."
This sentence is an assertion without any argumentation, and is probably only intended to implicitly show that since you are the professional and I am the amateur, then you don't even need to argue since, unlike me, you know the subject and the product, so you're necessarily right and I'm wrong (sophism of the argument from authority).
Your sentence is an assertion without argument, so I can't really answer other than with the same lack of argument: I don't see how weight would be more of a problem in the long term than in the short.
There doesn't seem to be any obvious reason for this, and unless you give us yours, we're stuck in the discussion (stopping the discussion is probably your current aim/desire).
"there is still big risk of wrist injury.
Muscles can gain endurance, but also repetetive stress injury"
If we follow your reasoning, we should ban tennis or even football/basketball because of the risk of sprains? and I'm being kind here, because the comparison is rather in your favor, since the risk of injury is actually infinitely lower and less serious with wrist movements than with the practice of a classic sport.
If, in addition, you're one of those who want e-sports to be recognized as a real sport, then you'd better learn to put up with the fact that you can damage your wrist when playing e-“sport”.
I also hope you're campaigning for the end of computer screens, because they damage the eyes and that's unacceptable! You're also against VR headsets because they're bad for the neck?
Then, once again, I and probably an awful lot of people will obviously see no problem in slowly, gradually and over the long term damaging our wrists, if it allows us to be better at our favorite game for X years. That's the risk of the job!
In short, I find you to be acting in bad faith.
I suspect that the source of your irrationality/unwillingness to argue properly lies in the fact that you absolutely want to keep the joystick's usefulness, and that you see wrist movement as a competitor.
Or simply that the economic interest is too small. You should know that the joystick will always be useful in certain types of game, and that moving with the wrist isn't always the best solution.
The joystick will always be useful in certain types of game, and wrist movement won't be the best in all cases. In any case, you haven't convinced me of the uselessness of wrist movement, and I'm convinced that this feature will grow in popularity.
In any case, you haven't convinced me of the uselessness of wrist movement, and I'm convinced that this feature will grow in importance in the relatively near future (less than 20 years).
      We'll see.
