Just one small thing so anyone using this move doesn’t get jammed by this: Pichu is the only character in the game who gets sent into tumble by PSI Magnet.
I started learning to do magnet combos a year ago but this goes so in depth with so much stuff I didnt know (I didnt know about fly magnet combos, i would just use it to scare players lol)
Psi Magnet is Shine done right intentionally, whereas original Melee Shine was just accidentally made into such a great oppressive tool. I think Ult Fox could use a better shine still, but ofc nothing as crazy as Melee's. And we know it can be done since Psi Magnet is exactly that, has both the defensive attribute and good offensive usage that's not ridiculously crazy.
im trying so hard to figure out how the fuck to time a flying magnet. i be doing it on accident alot... this is interesting. time to hit the lab. gotta refresh my magnet skills cus ive been neglecting it outside of early % combos. thanks for the vid!!
Well Hikasan isn’t super well practiced on flymag he has done multimags though and flymag a couple times. I do hope Hikasan learns more about it though
everytime i use psi magnet on someone it pushes them so far back that i cannot arial or jab them. i also dont have enough time to get an arial out most of the time :( when i see other people use it, they can still grab and even jab people after. i suspect it has smth to do with the windbox or me being slow or inaccurate. any advice?
I have the same issue. I haven’t figured it out yet but after watching this video it looks like a double jump magnet is required to carry Ness with momentum into the opponent? Must lab further to figure it out.
Hi, I know a bit about ness magnet idk if you still have trouble but it is two things: 1 the character is too floaty 2 you let go too late. The absolute best time to release is when they are in hitstun (8-12 frame window) or else the windbox pushes them too far. When canceling it at the right time, the magnet knock back cancels the windbox, and keeps the character close. Hope this helps!
So I'll practice like the 3 first ones and try to make some combos, then I'll add the other ones progressively. This is wayyyy to much to digest in one practice session.
No his magnet is way different even if they have the same name. You only have a hitbox when you release the button, it sends them at a tech situation at around 20% and you can’t djc his magnet in this game.
You can't djc with Lucas PK Magnet but instead it rises like Ness Rising Magnet. Lucas doesn't really have many tricks for his PK Magnet since your mostly using it for movement momentum when Ness can do a lot with his.

@@Burrito_AM Yes. You also need momentum. Go full forward when jumping (2-4 frames) then immediately magnet.
i’ve always known how to combo with magnet but have been wondering how people hit twice with it for a while now, cheers
Yo can someone please tell me that BANGER song that starts playing when he gets into the more advanced combos? No credit given to it in the video

Multimag to pk fire works on joker, mega man, fox, falco and wolf
@@Noone-uo3vw oh thx
Ken/ryu or lighter. But it it pretty forgiving for the character listed

Can this apply for Lucas? Anyone know?

You can djc his magnet into forward air, up air and nair but other than that you cant do much
Great more ness tech 😞
Yall reach out to Scend?
I was curious too, but from what I understand, he’s not much into doing much outside of his streams lately. Can’t blame him.
