Glad that Doug is bringing us these affordable family cars.
I would get one - but I like to change my own oil and other routine maintenance. Right to repair.
Hey, this is valuable information for the average consumer!
Lmao this isn't what Doug's channel is about what's so ever 🤣
I love driving it…It’s so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up!
That's our Doug 😏🙂
Dougs increasing comfortability with these ultra expensive cars is readily apparent. Great all-around review as always. Next week? Probably a minivan or something. The variety is awesome.
More to do with this car in particular.. a review of a MC12 or an Agera.. would certainly stress most drivers
A Toyota Tercel or paseo I’m sure lol
I hope he reviews a 1980 Chevrolet Citation. ✌🏻🇺🇸
Shit I've got a bone stock well maintained 2012 Odyssey if he wants. Hit me up Doug!
I s funny because he is comfortable with this car, but will Greek out when he goes to drive rare minivan from 1989.
I love how Bugatti makes the most powerful and most expensive cars in the world, but at the same time they're also the most driver friendly cars in the class.
Yeah I have heard that they are too road friendly, but cars slower but more raw are more exciting. Of course coming from someone driving a Hyundai, but still
@@YewdsWorld hyundai makes a surprisingly fun drive, no matter what you end up in from their selection. Sad to see the veloster go, but the elantra n is beautiful to see. I would love a true Sonata N, instead of the N-Line.
YES! Bugattis are, in my opinion, the absolute best option for anyone who has enough money for one. There's no beating the beauty, power, and comfort of these cars.
yes, almost every bug owner says they daily drive it and its very easy to daily drive. By daily drive meaning on city roads and going to meet friends or just a normal sunset drive. not grocery shopping, or something
@@user-gb5sh5gv3m there is lol power they get beaten by a lot of cars and beauty is opinions and a rolls royce is way more comfy
Honestly that car, especially in that particular spec, is so stunning. If I was a multi-billionaire, I would place an order right now. The colour, the wheels, the long tail, those lights. It honestly is one of the best looking cars ever, in my personal opinion.
Yup, looks so much better than the Veyron!

⭐️Unpopular opinion:
In addition to Doug's normal camera setup. I'd legit like to see the channel get a forward facing camera during the driving segment. So viewers can get some sense of acceleration to measure/scale between cars.
Edit: I've kept this to myself for seven years. Lol
He probably doesn't want to get in trouble for speeding 😂
Then we would be able to see the speedo..
Would be very helpful in a racetrack though
Or maybe a GoPro mounted by the exhaust
@@alantryhard8632 it can be easily blurred
After so many years, I think it’s time to shake things up!
This thing should get a 10 for styling. Those aerodynamic improvements are the icing on the cake. Truly one of the greatest car designs ever.
Normal Chiron looks better. Supersport is hideous af.
@@drippgxd oh yeah, really “hideous” 😂 I take it you won’t be buying one then 🤑
@@MultiWalrus1 beautiful fucking argument I rate it 3/10
I think these are really ugly, especially the front end, but taste is subjective. To each their own.
@@THX5000 the standard Chiron is a triumph of design in my opinion. That C-shaped section that sweeps around from the floor to the roof is a master stroke, and the front end is so much better conceived than the Veyron’s. With the Supersport, that additional section of bodywork at the rear has finished the design in my opinion. Perfected it. But like you say, each to their own 🥸
What a quality video! I've watch every single Bugatti video from yours and I can say I appreciate how considerate you are at explaining and showing every single detail of the car over again. Besides that, I keep waiting for the day the 'La voiture noir' video pop up some day
I really love them skipping the big infotainment screen, I think this looks far more elegant. One of the most beautiful interiors I've seen in a super car.
I think more car brands should be like that, i find it quite annoying (and feels very unsafe while driving) that on some modern cars you have to scroll through several menu pages just to do something simple like change your AC temperature
where does it display the infotainment info tho??
Bugatti said its so that the car looks timeless and doesn't look outdated in the future with crappy 2010s screens because the regular Chirons would suffer that the most. Good thinking tbh!
I'm so glad they avoided the pachinko-like shiny effects of previous Bugs.
Wait till you want to drive to a certain unknown location, and you need to put a standalone navigation/phone on the Chiron windscreen with a suction cup...
I'm always impressed you can talk to the camera while driving the Chiron or other million dollar cars. I'd be too terrified to think of anything other than driving! Great video.
when you've reviewed just about every very expensive car from the last 30 years im sure it gets easier lol
Yoooo asimo!

Welcome from roblox jailbreak, he has the courage to review it and the fear to crash it.

I am still blown away on Doug’s access to these cars. So happy for the dude. Keep em coming.
thats literally the most amazing part lol
He paid his dues, but having millions of subscribers they know he has the money and insurance to take care of the car in case he wrecks it.
Insurance is meaningless in this situation. Every individual one of these cars made (only 30) is called for, and the people that own these can afford another $4M. Sure they can get the check, but that won’t help them get another car since another won’t be made, or get them one of the other 29 from other rich people who don’t want to give it up either.
@@theryanhollis Not a matter of replacing the car, it is the value of the car, with the potential loss of a such an asset and most people do to carry multi-million dollar policies. The owner of the car certainly has it well insured, but they would not want to be reporting it to their own insurance should someone reviewing it crash it. Doug, being worth tens of millions of dollars now and being a savvy business guy is very well insured, so these elite car owners have no issues with him reviewing the cars as opposed to a smaller UA-camr. Wealthy people are carful with their money.
@@powerboatguy2308 Doug isn't even worth just a flat 10 mil, he's worth significantly less than that lmao. Not sure where you got tens of millions from

Yeah, I would like to know how the McLaren Speedtail got a 2 for Practicality, but the Chiron only got a 1. He said the Chiron is a hypercar that you could easily daily drive. I guess he didn't want the Chiron to take the top spot over the McLaren.

6:50 honestly the EB110 SS is a criminally overlooked Hypercar legend, props to VW Bugatti for paying homage to it. Everything, the quad turbo V12, gearbox, chassis was 100% bespoke and state of the art, a true Bug through and through just like the Chiron.

@@adamzaeits its gone now, lasted for 2 mins, rip edit v2
It took him 1 min to change it !!! 😂😂
Bugatti is, to me, the ultimate performance car. Some other companies might be a little more beautiful, or practical, or even a bit faster, but the absolute lack of compromise is unmatched.
I had one of these cars, but I forgot where I parked the darn thing. So I just bought a Hyundai to get me around. Was a cool car.
If the license plate were to fly off at top speed and hit something (disregarding immediate air resistance and retaining its velocity), it would produce about 504 foot pounds of energy (683 joules), concluding that it would have roughly the equivalent impact of a higher powered pistol caliber, such as a .357 magnum out of a short barrel or 10mm.
I think id rather get shot then hit by a license plate at 275mph.
Doug's the kinda guy that rests his elbow on a four million dollar car....
I'd be scared to touch a car that expensive.
I was thinking about picking one of these up for my family of 4 as a safe practical vehicle. I think this video finally convinced me!
That specific one is honestly the nicest looking Bughatti I really have seen, the extra length, the rims, that specific two tone on the body. The only thing I would change, is making the carbon fiber a blue tint, like you could do with the Veyron SS
The funniest thing to me everytime I see a review of a Bugatti Chiron is that the parking sensors sound exactly the same as in my 2011 VW Passat...
And about that Doug calling the spare key a Passat key, my Passat actually has a fancier key than that... that's a Golf or Polo key.
Spike16 yeah it’s a joke lol. how could companies be this cheap is amazing
@Spike16 Volkswagen owns Bugatti
@@coolzhowful The driver displays are LCD by the way, not Oled. In a 4 million dollar car they can't implement display tech which a 100€ Samsung phone has.
@Spike16 I agree
I have the same key on my 2017 Jetta S (base model)
Edit: My cousin actually has the same key in his 2004 Jetta TDI which makes it even crazier lol
3:31 Now that's absolutely outrageous. It's not only standard VW key, it's also an old one, used for Golf 5. For a 4 million $ car
its a spare key, what do u expect, a silver spoon?

Bugatti Super Sport EDIT V2? I don’t know, going from a W16 to a V2 is a bold move. Not sure I’m here for this new Bugatti reality.
Yeah, downsizing even caught up with them, shame really 🥹
The interior is perfect for a future classic. No screens to age poorly, not cheap materials where they cut corners. It's simple and beautiful.
Agreed, the decision to skip a screen here was smart. I'm so accustomed to seeing them in every car these days that I forget how good an interior can look without them.
Things have to be used for them to age.
Save 1mn on costs
Looks dated it looks the same interior design since 2000's didn't change much and the rubber coated dials on the center for a $5M looks cheap the only futuristic about this car is the exterior. Can't even differentiate it from other buggati. I say they are playing it safe by doing the same interior design not taking risk of changing something.

I'm really curious about how the weight feels compared to the Taycan. They're super different vehicles, despite being similar in a lot of ways, so I'd love to hear about that aspect of the comparison.
Tough to imagine a 4 million car going for a crash safety test
They usually send a stripped down version. No engine, no drivetrain necessarily. The tests are designed to use pulleys or have NHTSA’s test equipment impact the vehicle so the test vehicle doesn’t need to be fully functional
Also sticker price of these types is generally no where near material costs/labor costs.
@@joeys8701 This defeats the purpose of the crash test. Who knows if the drivetrain or engine components impact the safety of the driver if they're not equipped?
@@crispynotburnt physics can be simulated with extraordinary levels of accuracy these days. The tests are meant to make sure that the vehicles are safe in *general* for public use, not meant to make sure they pose no danger whatsoever in every single possible scenario. No one can ever know every possible scenario a crash will occur in, so the tests are just meant to rate the safety in the most common/deadly types of crashes I believe.
@@joeys8701 do they put weights in its place?
Its amazing that none of the other hypercar makers think like Bugatti in putting analog gauges in their limited multimillion dollar cars so as to preserve their value down the line

Doug isn't very knowledgeable when it comes to technical specs on cars. He has never worked on a car in his life, so if you want an idea of what goes into the "Super Sport" variation of Bugatti's cars, I highly recommend watching Jason Cammisa's video on the "Second" Veyron on the Hagerty UA-cam channel. He explains the immense amount of engineering effort that goes into these power boosts, and improved levels of handling. When you're talking about performance at this level, there is exponentially more effort necessary for such gains compared to something like a simple ECU flash in a standard car to give it an extra 50-100hp.
The gear selector in the Chiron is used in every E92 BMW and is identical to the E92 M3's gear selection minus the cool button for park. But I suppose BMWs don't need you to push a button to park. They just do it when you turn the engine off.
Doug DeMuro, the only man who can look homeless while driving a Bugatti.
Not hate btw, I admire how he started and where he is going.
