- Almost 2-Hours of Tommy Shaw performing his STYX music (and some Damn Yankees) exclusively for The Allan Handelman Show 10/11/98.
RARE VIDEO footage of what’s goes on at the studio during a live network Sunday Show. From the 99.7 WRFX (The FOX). That old 4th Street studio sounded excellent and whenever I had a band on live from that studio the sound quality was amazing.
Some of the bands who performed in the studio were Little Feat, The Connells, The Avitt Brothers, David Draiman (Disturbed), Joey Ramone, AC/DC.
I want to thank Tommy Shaw for being a great guest for so many years. CMC International for setting things up and the guys from Liketelevision.com for making the video.

This is so AWESOME!!! I can't believe I didn't know this was out there... Guess it's been too long since I've done a TS YT search!
I was SOOOOOO incredibly stoked with 7DZ came out. And the album still holds up amazingly well. I wish Tommy would make another solo album. (I mean I love The Great Divide too, and of course I love the Cyclorama and The Mission...but I mean another solo rock record...)
Anyway, I can't wait to watch this whole interview.
But I just had to get on here and comment based on the little bits I've checked out...first and foremost...THERE'S VIDEO of his 7DZ live band!????? why the hell isn't it on YT!!!???
Secondly, brings back great memories of seeing him in Border's books in Chicago...even DDY turned up as sang Come Sail Away...I wonder if that was the last time they performed together.
Thirdly...how can people complain about commercials with such a gem as this...who cares...you can scroll past them. Better than those annoying YT commercials that actually disrupt the flow of what you're watching.

Almost impossible to tolerate those commercial breaks. Reminds me why i no longer listen to the radio.
Exactly. I refuse to listen to the radio for this very reason.
