my 10 pound silky terrier gizmo survived a hit and run. his pelvis and back legs were crushed. he couldn’t walk. i spent over 19k for his surgeries so he could walk again. one leg was amputated after hip implant failure. my dog is doing amazing with his 3 legs. god bless you and what you do for these loving animals
If the owners are known they must be reported to the police to answer to animal cruelty and also to be financially responsible for all costs on rescuing shelter veterinary medication exams vaccines food clothing etc till permanent home. This must be done to set example of the consequences on animal cruelty regardless of their age. The local government is responsible for protection and welfare of all animals.
