Thank y'all for this reaction. Salute to you for appreciating intellect rap. Big ups to y'all for appreciating real rap. Inspirational rap. Positive messages. Lock is one of the best rappers out right now. He's a top 5 current rapper in my candid opinion. He left Earth on this Wu beat. He did this beat justice. Lock is a certified rap 👽. This is the wickedest Lock freestyle I've ever heard and the best freestyle period of the new year so far. The rappers who come after Lock on Sway and on the other hip hop media platforms that let rappers spit must go crazier than Lock did. Lock lit a fire under the rears of the rap artists in the game. When y'all can, check out God Is Mad by another certified rap extraterrestrial and another top 5 current rapper Cambatta.
This ain’t even a freestyle, this was a Ted talk to the entire nation. I tried showing this to hip hop heads at work. They dug it, but I don’t think they truly understand what this mfker was saying. It’s like there’s a mad division between hip hop fans…like locksmith said, “yall can’t even tell what dope from mediocre”. At that point I realized not every truly understand hip hop. They just like word play, shoutouts and beefs. Which is perfectly okay…I just have to determine myself who’s really appreciating the art and who’s listing cause it’s popping. I ain’t even mad. Like my pops use to say, “they play trash music on the radio after a good song cause stupid people listen to the radio too son” That said, first video I ever seen of yall. Subbed brother. Yall didn’t talk on most of the bars in his flow but from yall reactions… yall caught it. I love it. Subbed brother
You're right: it's obviously not a freestyle. The man clearly wrote that down and memorized it. There's lots of different kinds of hiphop. I remember a lot of this kind of preachy stuff back in the day, Jeru the Damaja and KRS-One. Music for angry, self-righteous dudes. The man has lots of skill, sure, but what's missing is fun. That said, the world's a mess, so maybe this is the hip hop we need.

This was my first intro to your channel and all I get is “wow, he good….the rhyme scheme……I like turtles….” I mean come on, this is why you wanted to make a channel? I love react videos but I will not watch you two just to look at you.
