S/o Sway's Universe crew & Locksmith! I was at KMEL that day, Locksmith was in a local competition to see who was headed to that mc battle you spoke of Sway. Salute from the Town!💪
* WC * Stand-Up ! As a 55 year old from under the west coast cloth that loves all eras of West Coast Hip Hop and if we are talking Bars, Lyricism, etc, we need to talk Kxng Crooked I, Locksmith, R-Mean, Kendrick, as well as some others. Been following Sway since the beginning, thank you for all you've done for the culture. 🎤🎶🎶🎶
Locksmith came with keys Sway. You in front of man who has the answers man. 😂 All jokes aside He the best on the show to Rap he a True MC and he came with pure knowledge. A Man who is a Man of God shall retain knowledge and keep the Law He the best one to touch your show. Dont let this get lowered in the news feed i just stopped everything i was doing to find this entire interview
Bruh, GOAT didn't even mention that was a triple entendre bar. "4 quarters to break a buck". Theres the money aspect, the derogatory term aspect, and the Milwaukee fuckin Bucks. Ja Morant..
good luck beating this one this year... but im here for it, step up to the plate yall! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 - spoke too soon, this one isnt the freestyle video.. but if you didnt check that out.. where you been at!!?
I own up to the misunderstanding of what Locksmith said when he said, "Capitalism is a black man's hell, Marxism comes from Europe as well, it's not African". When I heard it for the first time a while back, I misunderstood. I thought that Lock had that belief that capitalism is bad for black people. I said I disagree with Lock that capitalism is bad for black people. Blacks are able to ascend economically in America. Blacks are able to earn financial wealth. The white man is not precluding blacks or holding them back. The negative, victim, and scarcity mindsets are the real preclusions. There has to be self-accountability. The fake problacks and the CONscious(shout out to Daylyt for saying that wordplay bar right there) community blacks must stop shifting the blame. Lock doesn't believe that capitalism is a black man's hell. That's what's up that he doesn't believe that it is a black man's hell. That's what's up that Lock doesn't think capitalism is bad for blacks. Lock spoke from the perspective of the so-called problack people that say capitalism is bad but don't say marxism is bad. The fake problacks are not consistent sadly. They have to be consistent, but they won't be consistent. I appreciate Lock for clarifying and eliminating my confusion.
Cambatta is from the East, but I'd love to hear him back on Sway. He's incredible. As far as the Bay Area in Cali on the West Coast, it would be dope to hear Lucy Camp rap on Sway soon. She's one of the best rappers and lyricists alive. Her speed rap is amazing. She's doesn't rap fast just to rap fast. She got meaning. She makes sense.
20:50 facts man, i gotta say, i have listened to many of the female artists, ill give it a listen, rock with it. then i move on after i see that every one of their videos is them twerkin the floor or walls or whatever. if im gonna watch, it aint for the rappin at that point, so i just dont bother ..
On the subject on hypersexualization in hiphop. I don't understand why more younger female MCs don't look to Heather B, Queen Latifah, Rah Digga or Bahamadia.
Locksmith dropped freestyle of the year n it's only january 🔥
The world needs to know more about Locksmith. His lyrical, outspoken and consistent. I'm looking forward to his new album.

Bay areaa
Sway need to get back deep into the bay, he has no idea how he is being bodied with that million dollar figure bar.
🔥
Respectfully, Who the best out the Bay?!?! Let’s not throw that around so easily.
In no order, Lock, Twisted Insane, Lucy Camp, and Mozzy are in my top 4 Bay rappers.
Gotta add Lil Goofy, Beeda Weeda, Lil Blood. They ain't to be slept on. The Bay is full of God-given talent.
You have “The Jacka Tribute” but don’t mention Jacka at all
🎲🐍🎲
And The Lock is going to pass the mic to who next? Better come correct
I would love to see Cambatta back on Sway and spit for longer than he did last time. Cambatta is another alien.
