- I'll take you to my ceramic workshop to show you how to make a beautiful bonsai pot in ceramic with a bamboo theme. Follow me in this video to learn how to make your own ceramic bonsai pot using the "clay slab" technique. You'll be amazed at how simple and accessible this technique is, even for beginners!
Apart from a vague initial idea, I improvise this pottery as the production progresses.
Actual manufacturing time: approximately 12-15 hours
Pottery in white sandstone, firing at 1250 C°

I'd love to see some etchings, landscapes (I'd like to learn how to put something like The Great Wave off Kanagawa on a pot), a shohin cascade pot with a tall ceramic base that resembles a root stand, and more interesting textures and custom decorations. Some explanations of how you make your glazing decisions would be interesting, too.
