Don’t forget that if you use cerberus you can pop the gen/ken draw a card and summon a cross sheep, that will summon the popped target and summon the other gen/ken so you get both of their effects in a single turn
The deck was already good at going 1st what it really struggled with was going 2nd or playing through droll and shifter. These two cards didn't solve any of those issues, it just made the going 1st even better but they weren't bad at it to begin with.
Used to be exclusively good at go8ng second. But over time power creep made it difficult and the new support boosted going first. So yeah,now it's best going first

As for going first I was able to make the following board almost 100% of games I didn't get Drolled in AFTER handlooping for 4-5: Muckraker in the EMZ, Knightmare Gryphon below, Appo with 2-4 negates and/or I:P (usually I:P and tag into Appo but sometimes both), Bagooska, and the quickplay set. Sometimes I made the fusion then recycled the spell to punish if it got outed. And since all that was after handlooping at least 4 even if they have an out it usually doesn't matter.
@@YourKingSkeletor yeah it was last format every time I went first I lost game 1 and I just went 2nd game 2 and 3 and I won each time with the rounds being traptrix manadium and dinomorphia in the last round even with getting drolled in the manadium match up game 2 going it was still quite crispy and getting drolled didn't matter because I popped everything and made the grapha fusion as a last thing for a discard in my hand
1. Darkworld never had a "combo" this is the closest it gets 2. The cards are so fluid with one another the combinations to produce the same results are really endless.

I love Dark World very much it was my first competitive deck back when the original structure deck released and I was ecstatic to hear the deck was getting a revamp structure deck with a ton of support and more support coming later but I really would love to see more dark world fusion monsters I know we’ve got Colorless coming soon which is great but I’d like to see more than just 2 dark world fusion monsters cuz it just baffles me that GX was when Dark Worlds 1st appeared and GX is based around advanced fusing but yet Dark Worlds haven’t been given much fusion love so I’d like to see more than just two and I would also love to see some Dark World Rank 8s since now we’ve 2 boss monsters in the archetype now we should have some dark world rank 8s and I would also love to see Dark World link monsters… many will argue that dark world really doesn’t need an extra deck and I can see why but me personally I enjoy having options I just wish dark world had more extra deck options within its own archetype
Dark world is such a fun deck, but the problems I have with it are 1. Going against Droll and 2. Lack of hand traps in the deck. Sure, it is fun playing a deck that is all gas, but to be consistent you do need some hand traps to slow your opponent down (at least ash) and then Called by the Grave to help save you against droll. Another fun engine is the Bystials since they also work as hand traps against some decks, and can pair well with your dark monsters.
Typically my my Dark World will pump out, Avramax, Unchained Abomination and Grapha Overlord in one turn. I like this build but my build does that pretty consistently
Ive had my dark world deck since they first came out many many years ago. Got out of yugioh for some time and i came back when i heard about all these additional cards. I love them all. Excellent job with the video and explaining the combos.

I've been trying to decide between dark world and sharks for a week now, so uhhhhh... if I could get that shark list tomorrow, from my favorite yugituber, it would help a lot.
Considering there’s no true combo lines in dark world, it would’ve been better to showcase some blind test hands I think. Dark world is a deck that takes some consideration to built especially with small things like the danger lineup for your personal preference and having it push itself into a considerable speed forward. I usually go for my board to end on muckraker, gryphon, harbinger, and grapha fusion with some back row
This is great. Looking forward to picking these up today. However I’m still not comfortable using archive. But I am using that epidemic virus card. Allure for draw power. Unless droll happens. I’m also thinking of using dark law or bls the link version.

Nice video. Love when you said "let's supose we have a card like..." And proceed to turn 1 of the best cards in game. Even if we don't have thrust or talents we just need 1 more fiend in field and 1 more discard in 6 cards. Just one thing you did wrong, in the final play you should pop Cerulli and not gen for inumerous reasons, like linkuriboh, anima, you have pearl for follow up etc
If your big concern is aiding graveyard decks like Tearlament, and you're running one copy of ROTA anyway for Gen and Ken, what are your thoughts on teching in HERO Shadow Mist, Mask Change and Dark Law? 2 or 3 Shadow Mist and 1 Mask Change is a tight fit in here, but a one-sided Macro Cosmos as you're hand-looping your opponent has to be worth it in graveyard-play matchups, at least as a sideboard option, right?
I played Mask Change 2 and Dark Law in Dark World and it is very much unexpected by other players. So it is the spice that you can randomly throw in especially if your environment plays a lot GY decks. Also good for mirror and Tearlaments. but it may be a win-more in some cases and you might run out of space on the field if you make it early in the combo

Evrything was fantastic, but you forgotten one thing. When you sommon griffon not only it sets a spell o trap from the gy but since it was co-link it draws you a card. I know is not much but in this deck even 1 card makes the diference from winning or losing.
Call me crazy, but I keep at least one Beiige in my deck because it’s good to always have access to level 4 homies. I run 3 Gent the GOAT, 3 Snoww mommy, 2 or 3 Mothmen, 1 Zalymander, 1 beiige. We all know the best XYZ in the game are 2 lvl 4 monsters. The goats.
What is your opinion on Exciton Knight for this format? I always find it to be a silly Rank 4 that prevents you from being overwhelmed and is once per chain rather than OPT.
As a dark world player that wins pretry much every game i go first without getting drolled... nah... the real test is whether a deck can win going first and second... going second in modern yu gi oh with a deck that requires 2+ card combos is rough, because you don't have enough space to slot as much interruption or board breakers as decks that got like 3 one card starters
As a DW player since idk when i'll tell you that: incredibly weak to the best handtraps in the game right now. But also I'll uncover a little trick; if you play Barrier statue of the Abyss, it's a valid target of Charge because it works on Fiends, not only Dark worlds, so that means that you can use it in your danger plays without worrying about sacrificing your normal summon, as long as you have access to Charge, and potentially ending the turn with it on an already established board (leaving a space for Sillva's summon after triggering Big boy grapha's effect to negate)
14:19 u did the combo wrong, u don't bounce both with akashic u only bounce ceruli. You then bounce sillva with reign-beaux. You have an extra body on board now so you can just go muckraker here to get the discard. Besides that the ratios and card choices are really not good. Test this against real decks and you will see where the problems are. U built this like I win dice roll I win game. But this is what that deck already does, u have to fix the other flaws.

I've been playing dark world since the dangers became a thing there's no way any dark world card will get hit on the list dark world shaddoll on the other hand could lose winda but I've been deck testing on my physical deck and masterduel and with triple tactics thrust the 2 cards that are starting to see play is fiends sanctuary and the fang of critias purrly can't out mirror force dragon and doom virus dragon kills most meta decks plus fiends sanctuary is a great token generator for link climbing
This is probably a dumb question but im new to yugioh so: if you play gen use its effect to summon ken to your opponents field then use kens effect to draw and discard, next you go to battle phase then end the battle phase - who's hand does ken go back to in this scenario? Since ken is on your opponents field do they get the card?
Til you prove its tier 0, it's tier 1 at best. Doubt it's even that with the new archetypes boosting other decks so well. Rescue-snake eyes will likely beat this deck with ease.

I'm actually going to try to build and test out lithium darkworld infernoid deck. Duel Master doesn't have all the cards either like dark corridor unless there's a name change on a few cards I can't find
Also you could've looped for 5 without having your opponent discard a card if you were just going to thrust into your talents anyways also why didn't you bounce the silva with reign beaux eff and then make your akashic to bounce reign beaux add another level 5 or higher dw
"Tier 0" We're talking about a deck that dies to every possible handtrap in the game, even ash blossom can stop your turn if you try to lets say activate genta to add gates and the oppo ash blossom you... maybe if you're lucky you have some danger!s in hand, also dark world plays no handtrap so that means either you win the dice and pray for not interruption or your video title is a big cap🤣
Nib (usually) doesn't matter but the rest do hurt. That said, while the deck isn't tier 0 from experience it's almost always been tier 2-rogue but Gen/Ken and Little Knight may be enough to push it to 1.5 or 1. Definitely not tier 0 though.
there is a bunch of big boys + Grapha destroys a card when discarded, the same for Bigfoot + Goldd destroys 2 if discarded by opponent effect + Underworld Goddess as you swarm the field easily + Knightmare monsters in the process. that's pretty much that
I'm not in agreement with the corridor ratio. Sorry but us dark world players that played the deck even thru tear and droll format, 3 corridor is always a good ratio. 1 thrust and 1 talents is all you need. I would rather see a corridor over a second copy of thrust that is useless. No rota, because that's just another ash or droll target. Or shifter. 3 Gen and 1 Ken is fine. 3 nessie 1 moth man, no snake. I've been playing the deck for a long time since the structure deck. And personally I would say that during your combo, yes, the deck will always hand loop regardless. That's what the deck is now. Pure cant do anything in the current format, and a non hand loop version is just dog shit. My friend just get rid of the deck early. Leave it to us to make the deck broken. Because in reality, we've dealt with the pain of winning and losing with the deck. And you've only picked it up for 5 seconds and automatically know what to do with it.

I had friends say they wanted Droll banned then be shocked that I didn't agree... when I play Ignisters and Dark Worlds so would benefit big time. But I feel like Droll needs to exist to keep decks like Dark World in check otherwise the banlist probably guts them to unplayability.

But if it didn't exist then some of my favorite decks, like Dark World (and to a lesser extent Ignisters) would have few or no counter play options. And if that were the case everyone would play them and they'd be slaughtered by a ban list. Cuz neither of thosedecks can be hit without giving them the Ol Yeller treatment on a list.
@@YourKingSkeletor about DW banning Sillva would pretty much make all the "UA-cam wombo combo" players drop the deck, while banning Ceruli would be the actual good hit but also cripple the deck (I don't consider Ken/Gen as reliable for triggering the bonus effs) About ignisters, we know the one card that gets looped into oblivion. But in both cases a severe weakness is those main decks not only don't have enough flex spots, they also need a "critical mass" of their engine pieces to function, making them one hit wonders and not consistently good enough for "pro players" to invest in playing them.
I hate playing dark world players. You go 1st and take some time and they scoop coz u taking too long, or u just set up an intteruption and then they scoop. But if they go 1st... 10+ minutes of theirr turn while they discard ur hand and set up a stronf ass board :|

No.. The problem with this deck is that there is absolutely no way stop it. It can literally play through a thousand hand-traps.

Dark world needs the extra deck to reach full power from cards like skull dread appolousa number 60 dugerus and rank 8 xyz monsters

Mask change 2 is any dark and it’s a discard 1 so that’s actually the ideal if you’re gonna run that
Dont play shadowmist. Just play mask change 2. Theres 0 reason to add shadow mist.

That said, even though Colorless has a busted effect it's pretty unusable due to the materials.
I've been playing dark world since the dangers became a thing there's no way any dark world card will get hit on the list dark world shaddoll on the other hand could lose winda but I've been deck testing on my physical deck and masterduel and with triple tactics thrust the 2 cards that are starting to see play is fiends sanctuary and the fang of critias purrly can't out mirror force dragon and doom virus dragon kills most meta decks plus fiends sanctuary is a great token generator for link climbing

This is probably a dumb question but im new to yugioh so: if you play gen use its effect to summon ken to your opponents field then use kens effect to draw and discard, next you go to battle phase then end the battle phase - who's hand does ken go back to in this scenario? Since ken is on your opponents field do they get the card?
Took way too long for a response, but it would go back to the hand of the original owner of the card.
What would be needed for a side deck to this? Getting back into YGO so almost clueless :D
Til you prove its tier 0, it's tier 1 at best. Doubt it's even that with the new archetypes boosting other decks so well. Rescue-snake eyes will likely beat this deck with ease.

How did gen cause the opponent to discard? I thought he made you discard
summoning the Dragon to your opponent's field makes YOU draw 2 and discard 1, summoning the Tiger to your opponent's field just makes THEM discard 1

Nib (usually) doesn't matter but the rest do hurt. That said, while the deck isn't tier 0 from experience it's almost always been tier 2-rogue but Gen/Ken and Little Knight may be enough to push it to 1.5 or 1. Definitely not tier 0 though.

there is a bunch of big boys + Grapha destroys a card when discarded, the same for Bigfoot + Goldd destroys 2 if discarded by opponent effect + Underworld Goddess as you swarm the field easily + Knightmare monsters in the process. that's pretty much that

I'm not in agreement with the corridor ratio. Sorry but us dark world players that played the deck even thru tear and droll format, 3 corridor is always a good ratio. 1 thrust and 1 talents is all you need. I would rather see a corridor over a second copy of thrust that is useless. No rota, because that's just another ash or droll target. Or shifter. 3 Gen and 1 Ken is fine. 3 nessie 1 moth man, no snake. I've been playing the deck for a long time since the structure deck. And personally I would say that during your combo, yes, the deck will always hand loop regardless. That's what the deck is now. Pure cant do anything in the current format, and a non hand loop version is just dog shit. My friend just get rid of the deck early. Leave it to us to make the deck broken. Because in reality, we've dealt with the pain of winning and losing with the deck. And you've only picked it up for 5 seconds and automatically know what to do with it.
Build a bridge and lie under it so you can get over yourself.

I had friends say they wanted Droll banned then be shocked that I didn't agree... when I play Ignisters and Dark Worlds so would benefit big time. But I feel like Droll needs to exist to keep decks like Dark World in check otherwise the banlist probably guts them to unplayability.

But if it didn't exist then some of my favorite decks, like Dark World (and to a lesser extent Ignisters) would have few or no counter play options. And if that were the case everyone would play them and they'd be slaughtered by a ban list. Cuz neither of thosedecks can be hit without giving them the Ol Yeller treatment on a list.

About ignisters, we know the one card that gets looped into oblivion.
But in both cases a severe weakness is those main decks not only don't have enough flex spots, they also need a "critical mass" of their engine pieces to function, making them one hit wonders and not consistently good enough for "pro players" to invest in playing them.
