Thank you so much! I hate trying to line up the start and end stitch on edge to edge. This makes so much more sense!

Thank you so much! I was at a loss as to making the template. Genius, as I have been flying by the seat of my pants. Lol

Thank you for doing this, I've had my HV Sapphire 85 since December 2021. I have not found many videos showing how to use this machine. I like it for sewing, but the embroidery part escapes me. I would love to see more tips and uses for the Sapphire 85. Thank you again.

You're welcome! Thanks for leaving a comment. I will try and get some more videos using my Sapphire 85.

@@crinklyquilts2597 That would be wonderful, I was honestly thinking about trading it in. Seems to be so much information on the other HV models but the only thing I can find on the Sapphire seems to be from United Kingdom.

Thank you. I have been afraid to try this but you made it make sense.

Where did you purchase the large eyed needle you are using to hide your thread ends?

Where did you get the cute little decal that's on your machine?

So happy to see someone else quilting in the hoop with Nested Blocks, as opposed to End to End Designs. I just don’t like the 2 ugly ties on top of each other, that we see with End to End QITH. I am hoping that most embroiderers will eventually see how easy this technique is. My technique is slightly different than yours, but it's also very similar. I also use a Ghost Template that I created in Embird Embroidery Software, and then printed on Template material using my Cricut Maker. Here is Part 9 of my Quilt in the Hoop series. It's on a Janome Mb4, but the hooping concept is the same for all machines. At 22 minutes is where I hoop the Quilt: ua-cam.com/video/WcKxeEngRzQ/v-deo.html

Why are you starting at the bottom corner? Many videos starts the stitching in the top corner or centre.

Salve grazie per il video mi puoi dire se il filo della bobbina (il filo di sotto) è uguale al filo di sopra, oppure, hai usato un filo sottospola come quello che si usa quando si ricama? Grazie

How did you make the template? You just said "stitch out a template". Did the machine memorize the free-form stitching you did so it can repeat it over and over??

it's an embroidery design, so I just ran the design on a piece of mesh interfacing so I could see through it as a laid it on the quilt.

Where can I purchase this meander design? It's hard to find rectangle quilt designs!

This is actually a design I drew up on the mysewnet software for the machine. But I think designs by juju may have a meander design

@@crinklyquilts2597 I am not able to find one that doesn't have to connect, and I don't know how to create one myself. Will you please share your design?

Can you do this with 5x7 hoops?

    • @ashleed6304
      @ashleed6304 Рік тому

You could probably do any size hoop as long as your design fit inside of it.

Ugh! Hooping ANYTHING with even a little thickness can be SO difficult. I prefer magnetic hoops, and use them whenever I can.
