In addition to Ray Gillen's sensational vocals, I highlight the insane drumming on these recordings, at that time if I'm not mistaken they were Eric Singer or Bev Bevan. if you want to sing hard rock/blues/metal this is a guy to emulate.

Ray was a great vocalist. A waste of time with Black Sabbath tho in my opinion. I really didn’t care for the song “Black Sabbath”. Neon Nights was pretty cool tho. So glad he hooked up with Jake E Lee/Badlands.
Oh, I agree that Badlands was excellent. I have to disagree on waste of time with Sabbath, though. Gillen's versions of all the songs on Eternal Idol are awesome. Superior to Martin's, IMO. By far...
