every single time i join a pack, there are 1 or 2 guys who know how and want to fight. the rest hang out on the sidelines not helping while the 1 or 2 experienced guys get overwhelmed and die. then the pack splits up and im back to solo again.

I would actually love a game like this but set in the ice age or modern times or something where you can play as hyenas and african wild dogs and such.
Raptors are really te best dinos to play wit, at least the most fun. Bc they are easiest to grow,hunt with and/or die with. They are just made for you to kill anything by its abilities mixing up with your skill.

A day without mix packing is truly beautiful and precious. I’d love to have an experience like that where you can play at least somewhat realistically without any mixpackers. I get you can play without them in unofficial servers with rules, but rules can become very annoying most of the time. As you can see I’m just glad to see people not mix packing on an official server :D
The game could really use some mechancis to discourage mispacking, for example some sort of "anxiety" mechanic for any herbivores that hang around carnivores for too long and a mechanic that increase hunger on carnivores hanging around herbivores
@@christophernoneya4635 Might be a problem for carnivorse, what if your a carno stalking a teno? you'll get hunger faster and the teno gets a warning system, then its just impossible to hunt
@@Alastor-W3NDIGO you don't need an onscreen indicator, and it can build up over time. If you're close for let's say 5 minutes it isn't a problem, but it should really stack up after 10 and should be crippling after 30. (This also incentivizes moving on from a failed hunt so you can't spend 3 hours stalking the same herbivore for some meta grudge)
Or they can just make it so only herbis can pack with other herbis while carnis only pack with whatever type of dinosaur they are

Raptor packs in the isle are just so smart they work together to hunt but when their not hunting it's just so beautiful to see them in the sunlight or in the moonlight
These people were morons. They couldn't even coordinate to kill one stego with 40 raptors
Once you hit 100% size, or even nearly, you actually don't want to have 1 of each of the nutrients anymore because you don't have any more growing to do.
Stat-wise, it's better to have 2 different nutrients than 3 different at full size just experiment or look into what each nutrient/combo does and find what kind of stats you want to have on your full grown species.
I agree, I'm newer to the game and I'm surprised how many "pros" still don't switch diets once they get bigger. Its a total waste of stats and its like they don't read the benefits it gives you.
It's funny because when that first dinosaur disappeared from the bush, you actually stared right at it as it darted into the forest. You thought it was a party member I think, had a good chuckle about that.

Hey owl I love ur videos. I just wanted to point out when you were fighting the tenos, the reason your stamina drained so fast is because when you pounced the teno he did a bucking animation. If you hold on to it while its doing the bucking animation your stamina drains immensely. So watch out for a bucking animation! Keep what your doing!
Are tenos the only ones able to do that?

i was super impressed by the way that cera managed to stand up to a raptor pack! they seemed like a really skilled player to conserve their stam, especially enough to also take down a teno in the middle of the fight with your pack. definitely going to be taking some tips away from them and you

I try a all black/dark as i can with vibrant blue stripe/stripes on my raptors.
Funny enough based on Blue, but not Jurrasic Worlds. I had a very old raptor-like quadruped creature that I RPd, drew for nearly two decades prior to Jurassic World. I love the black/blue that reminds me of my character Blue. But I can get annoyed when people just assume im copying the JW raptor, its understandable, but just annoying irritating whenever there are jerks who just keep pushing or think there is only ever one _ever so creative_ name Blue. I was kid, yet keep it. It's not exactly a well thought out name. Nor is darker tone with contrasting colors-- like blue. It goes way far back im sure.
I still love seeing certain color combinations. Black & blue being my top favorite, then majority of dark red with a white dominant contrast also gets my favoritism.
I do use camouflage time to time, but i can't help but to love being a flashy peacock so to speak. My combat style imitates that as well. I don't mind putting pressure or attention to myself to give teamates clear openings. However ignore me and pay a heavy price as well. It really *_forces_* foes to HAVE to pay attention to me. If they ignore the flashy one, i punish them big time. Yet i will mock charge and just keep big pressure and stress too. Just so my allies can safely get their nips and wear down our foe.

Cera's have bleed resist, meaning it was healing that bleed as you were dealing it out, im sure it was at the very least 70% health from the pounce dmg but the bleed resist on cera is high at 50% + growth.

Hey owl, unless its changed, its better to have 2 different diets once fully grown, depending on the 2 you choose, you'll get benefits to bleed healing, stamina regen, or bone break resistance, you can search it up on the wiki. Love the content!

i was so exited until i saw what server you were in. i usually play on the NA 2 server and recently got into a raptor pack. hoped to have played with you.
I felt bad thinking of the stego playing with them for hours to be turned on, but in reality think about it.. thats what this game is all about at the end of the day he had a badass once in a lifetime showdown that surely got his heart pounding, that game is really cool I just can't find the time sadly

Youre full grown tho, you dont need dots anymore, unless wanna drop other 2 and pack on triple dots for Stam perks or do Dots n S for mixture of stam n HP regen or all S for pure highest HP regen

I've been playing Omni a lot lately and I wanna become an Omni main and one of my favorite things to do in The Isle is to make massive Omni packs. They're always so fun
You provide such a lovely variety of stories that I had no idea raptor was your main!! Or most favoured Isle playable, anyways. Good to see you thriving in your element!

Ceratosaurus is one of the hardest things to take down as an Omni because it's insanely resistant to bleed, and if it has body buff you pretty much have no chance, a sub cera can clean up a pack of 4 omnis
Indeed, and in this instance there was a body at the start AND at the end!
Doesn't it get a crazy 80% bleed resistance? It's practically pointless to try and bleed it at that stage, vs the risk of a poison bite.
@@CH1K3N99 I'm not sure if the buff only applies to flat damage or bleed too but I know that Cera can tank a lot of bleed until it loses a fair bit of hp, so you need to lower it's hp quite a bit before bleed becomes a concern for it. I don't know the exact numbers but even a sub adult Cera can take down an entire Omni pack because once it gets a kill it becomes incredibly tanky. I once managed to kill an pack of Omnis consisting of 2 adults, a sub and a few juvis. Only the sub survived because it gave up, and I was left with around %80 of my hp and %70ish blood, it took a lot less time for me to recover than it took for them to deal that damage, and I was around 650kg+ when it started. So yea, Omnis and other smaller animals do not pose a threat to a Cera after it gets to 500kg+
