here's a few things for how to play golf better
      Keep fit
      Position your feet properly
      Learn the correct body posture

It is a great one off product for revealing an effortless golf swing technique minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend Sam at last got astronomical results with it.

Always nice to hear Adam’s simple, positive lessons. I think we all get a bit exhausted with the, “you have to…” or “if you don’t…” types of golf tips. The last thing I want when trying a new drill is to feel pressure or stress before I ever get to the range.
    Well done, as always.

In the process, you've also simplified complications in "takeaway" and "backswing" by encapsulating them into one thought for initiating the swing - "Make Your Pivot". And you've demonstrated how to pivot and how to practice pivoting. Very helpful, thank you.

Great swing thoughts….I started to use one of those super soft thick and cushy kitchen mats to feel downward pressure on my feet as I simulate a swing…wow…you can really sense / feel through the feet how much the pressure changes from backswing to transition to the left side…the immediate feedback of downward pressure is very revealing…thought I’d share that tip I stumbled upon while doing dishes. Love your teaching.

You make it sound so easy. I have previously struggled with lunging at the ball coupled with a reverse pivot. I think this was my way to try and hit down on the ball without any proper training. Now that I have been focusing on proper wait transfer (not perfect) in backswing - I’m chunking it like no tomorrow. Occasionally I get the right tempo and it becomes effortless. I’ll try these next time. Thanks!

After purchasing your videos, and playing around with techniques you have taught...I've gone from 88-93 , to I'm 85 and below....After coming home from driving team truck with my wife, I had a good practice secession on the range, then played with a longer hitter that played from the tips, black tees..I,m 62 now, and told him I play from Gold tees, one tee in front of the white, measure at 5945 yards....Long story short.....I shot 40 on the front, 41 on the back...Heres the kicker....I had 5, 3 putts...But it was all good, because your video on getting my mind on the right path, even if I hit a shot I didnt like, I knew what happend, and knew how to correct it....I carried my yardage book in my back pocket, which I pulled out, and keep my mind on the task ahead....It was the best ball striking game I ever played.....I told him about not being able to play as much, because I'm truck driver with my wife, and credited my success to your teaching technique and video...PS...I also had 2 chip ins......Thank you again, your a great inspiration..........Leland

I recently starting looseing my grip so as to feel the clubhead and at the top of the backswing, I try to feel like I'm throwing the clubhead at the ball (underhanded.) What you describe in the first part of your video really helps me confirm this is correct. One of my major flaws was gripping to tightly and therefore couldn't feel the clubhead. Thank you.

Just tried this drill for the right hand position on the range and have been amazed at the results.I have been playing for years and never thought about my right hand aiming at the target.I have always been left hand dominant and probably had the right hand too passive. By adopting the 'stone throwing' thought and aiming through to target has been a revelation.

The thing I disagree with is that every golfer needs a rod to show them the line. You can't take a rod for direction assurance on course, but what you do is ensure your feet are square and in your practice swing your chest is perpendicular to the target line at follow through. Aside from the direction rod, a very good video.

    • @Scratchgolfacademy
      @Scratchgolfacademy  5 років тому +1

Thanks Kevin. Those are reasonable references, of course there are many exceptions in the pros, regards initial alignment of feet (Trevino well left, Palmer right etc), and a number of different finish positions. Generally chase turned past the perpendicular reference.

    Hello Adam,
I’m going to try your tips.
I have taken up the game again after 20 years stopped playing back then because I had lost confidence in my swing and playing this game became frustrating and it’s only been a few months since starting up and ohh my it’s such a struggle for me to get a positive swing thought I will hit a bucket
of balls will hit the first 10 balls okay then can barely get it up in the air I will hit a few ok
and then hit a few bad ones and once this becomes recurring. I will just leave the range before losing more confidence in what I am doing.I watch a lot of videos of different tips for beginners of which I feel I am starting all over again I have come across a few of your teaching videos.
My ball flight is basically a slice and sometimes feels like a weak cut shot. I can only get good contact with basically only a 1/2-3/4 swing a full swing makes it worse and this is only with a pitching wedge I know I’m cutting across the ball cause this ball flight gets magnified as I attempt to hit the higher clubs. What’s interesting is I can chip fairly well it’s the full swing that’s been a struggle will go to the range again to try until my confidence is lost will pack it up and try again.
Thank you for the great videos hopefully yours will help me break through to just make decent ball contact to at least make a round of golf a pleasurable experience for me.

I'm a subscriber, and you have unlocked so many important learnings that clarify the problems, and solutions, I have been dogged by. Topping the ball with irons, slicing on drives, direction, and fairway woods: all the frustrations that keep one's game from becoming respectable. Next? Practice, practice, practice!

As a life-long educator, I really appreciated the "brain maps well" and the "brain is wired..." concepts. Great teaching. Thank you!

How do you put your hands up in the backswing? Do you push with your left, pull with your right or a combination of both?

When you line up to your shot with your driver, and your ready to hit the ball what are you thinking?
And how about with your irons,, especially the short irons.

Each person is different. I have certain swing cues that I feel I need to work on, but they are different to most people’s issues

With my driver it easier to me, I tell my self Finnish the swing and to that I have to swing with control so swing easier.
With my irons 4,5,6 I do better than my short irons. I like your swing wise I could swing like you aways in control.
      I'll keep working on it
Thanks for your tips and videos

Just started golfing ...about 8 weeks total now. As of right now I'm just having fun and not keeping score when I go to the golf courses. Your videos are a great help for a beginner like me.
The question I have is when should I go for lessons? Should I just continue having fun for the golf season (Canadian here) or should I book my lessons with a pro as soon as possible.

Thanks, and glad you're getting started. I'd say lessons are good, but not sure everyone giving lessons is that good. See if you can find out from some established players who in your area has a good reputation.
      Best, Adam
