In this video we play through the entirety of Mega Man 3 NES on the Mega Man Legacy collection and go through how to beat every single level in a walk through/ let's play fashion. Some would call this a long play... but I wouldn't. Either way I hope you all enjoy!

You are correct. I don't remember everything about magnets. But basically they are objects whose electrons are polarized in one direction using electricity.
So attacking with Spark Man neutralizes the energy flow or demagnetize Magnet Man; which would leave him powerless.
Good playthrough Toot, even if it doesn't do as well as the other vids, I find them quite chill and fun to watch.
The only downside i see from RockMan3 are the DocRobots stages and the weird balance but other than that is a pretty solid game.

Thing about Top Spin is, even though you could kill Shadowman without using any weapon energy, Shadowman could also drain all of your weapon energy without dealing any damage to him.
No idea why that shit happens but it tends to happen for whatever reasons.

Here's a tip: when you use Top Spin, make sure you start outside of the enemy and clip them with your arms. Doing it this way prevents your ammo from draining and hits the enemy consistently, but it only hits once and knocks you back.
4:36 Magnet Missile also works wonders, and I used to go to Magnet Man first as a teen.
i had megaman 3 on the gameboy, would always give up super easy as a kid. now coming back to it, i almost gave up again after watching a lets play that does snake man's stage first and dying a bunch copying it. you still kill him with vanilla megaman so.. itll be annoying but at least i can get to the end with this inspiration. cheers! will be watching lots!
One thing about that Doc stages in this game that doesn't seem to get mentioned very often is that the MM2 bosses actually match the environments of the Doc stages;
Flash Man and Bubble Man clearly match Doc Gemini Man's stage with all the flashing environments, water sections and tadpoles, Metal Man and Quick Man match Doc Spark Man's mechanical design with the cogwheels and fast-moving machinery and rapidly blinking lights, and so on.
You can really find matching characteristics of all MM2 bosses if you look hard enough.
The trickiest boss is probably Wood Man, but he kinda matches Doc Shadow Man's stage because of the wood-coloured textures and the whole manga/anime trope "ninjas leave logs behind when they disappear" (where Shadow Man of course is like the "ninja"), and Crash Man mostly matches Doc Needle Man's stage because that stage takes place during the night, and also happens to have a kind of vertical high-altitude nature to it
(which by the way also happens to match Air Man - especially with the whole Rush Jet section, which emphasises the fact that you are in the air, AND also the fact that you get the analogous item "Item-2" from Air Man).
Mega Man 3 is my favourite Mega Man game.
Play the hacked version. It has been improved.

Run ahead until the big bee enemy stops then backtrack slightly to make it disappear off screen and you'll never have to deal with the little swarming bees.
I really enjoy these let's play style videos. Like a walkthrough with a trolly friend cracking jokes the whole time. Looking forward to the next one.😁
Slide glitches are fun. You can slide across two tile wide gaps.
Meaning gaps that are twice the width of your character.
I am a Top Spin user, the Spark Shock is just so glitchy and you can just Hard Knuckle those big bouncing enemies in one hit, possibly getting an item pickup. Top Spin is great for taking out the monkeys, the hedgehogs/ porcupines, and also those hopping enemies in Shadow Mans level.
This is my order for beating the robot masters in MM3: 1. Spark Man 2. Magnet Man 3. Hard Man 4. Top Man 5. Shadow Man 6. Gemini Man 7. Needle Man 8. Snake Man.
Here are some tips you did not showcase in the video. I fire the Hard Knuckle up close to Top Man to smash the guy in record time ( if you are fast, you can get 3 shots in after he spins across the room once ). The Shadow Blade can be used on Gemini Man as you have to fire one to the right then jump as one of his clones is in the air ( it will hit him on its return wash, rinse, repeat). You can get Gemini in a pattern this way. Finally for the Flash Man doc robot, use Gemini Laser and aim for the entrance where you entered as he gets close and you can waste him quickly. The Gemini Laser will rebound of the wall and into Flash Man every time.
This was the first Mega Man game I ever played, and is still my favorite game of all time. Only odd thing is on my original NES cartridge (which I bought used at a flea market in 1991) that first electric barrier in Spark Man's stage glitches permanently into a jumble of mismatched graphics, every time, without fail, and the Hammer Joe in the following room flashes with invincibility frames, never throws his hammer, and never opens his eye so he can be shot. These two specific things never, ever fail to happen. If I had bought it more recently I'd wonder if it was a bootleg cart, but I don't think those were possible in 1991.

Ain't that funny that the Doc 🤖stage with Woodman is because there are traces of wood crosses on Shadow Man's stage 🤔makes sense. Every other stage is self explanatory to me. Coincidently, Heatmam is one of Woodman's weaknesses, how ironic.
Love these videos when you play through them. I cam yell by your humor and vibe you and I would be great friends if we knew eachother in real life... plus we are Megaman freaks!!!
I am definitely in the 'Mega Man 3 is overrated' camp. The Doc Robot section just kills the flow of the game too much, and I really don't like the idea of remembering 16 boss weaknesses before taking on the Wily Fortress. Mega Man 3 is definitely a solid game, but I think it was too ambitious for its own good.

Shadow Man was a big pain in the ass for me back then but it's c cool stage later on when you play there again.
🐈 you know about the super jump mode by holding right (I think) on controller 2? That's my fav way to play this game and probably why I like this one most. Definitely needed more polish and megaman 3 would have deservedly been THE best

The easy way I use Wiley’s 1st form is to use rush jet & just spam the buster once you’re lined up with the pod.
I think mega man’s hit box that activates the platform in spark man is smaller than the hit box that mega man can stand on
It would be cool if instead of top spin, upon defeating top man you could throw targeting tops like he does in his boss fight.
In Hard Man's stage, just walk backward when Have "Su" Bee appears onscreen, and it will de-spawn and not drop any of the little bees. That's what I do, and I never have to worry about it.
I had mega man 3 on my old LG flip phone too! I never beat it, but I did make it past the doc robot stages and up to wily 4. It was a surprisingly playable version. Edit note: I always thought that it was supposed to be dark robots and not doc robots, but that said after looking up the Japanese for them, the kana would translate as “doku,” and not “daaku,” like I thought.
I love the videos, am more fo original Megaman, but I would love to see Battle Network content as well...I still going though all your videos, especially the top 10 ones.

The hard knuckle one shots those giant jumping enemies, so yes, the spark shock is completely useless outside of boss battles. Also, also all the robot masters are weak against their own weapons which is a really fun feature.
I just found this channel after playing Mega Man 1-4 for the first time and I think Mega Man 3 is my least favorite game as of now

Megaman 3. Oh boy. Let's do it
I began with snake man, but you need to know how to fight him. His stage isn't too hard as your immediately given ruch coil. Always make sure he's behind you. Top spin does not help you here, ignore if you have it.
I then went to wipe gemini man. His stage is the easiest. It also allows life grinding for you noobs, so you might want to do it later. Needle man isn't too hard buster only.
Needle man's stage is easy if you're patient. The entire stage and Needle man himself are a lot like metal man's stage.
The next target was magnet man. By this point, you should be able to fight most enemies. The stage is easiest with rush jet, but even without it, I could make it through the diappearing block maze (I had it but never used it).
Now is when I went after top man. He has the easiest level and you can just tank most hits and you still would win.
Shadow man is next. And now the game's hardest level with the most instant death things. Use rush coil sparingly.
Sparkman is an easy trip from here. Shadow blade makes quick work of him. Just play the boss a bit safely.
Then, from here, fight hard man. His attacks are easy to dodge, but his health is massive unless you beat magnet man, so be careful. Do not attack while he is jumping to play it safe. Shadow blade will keep you safe. Rush jet may be helpful as well getting over the crocs. I believe top spin also instantly destroys bees. Take it with a grain of salt, though.
The wily bots should be done spark man's stage first. It houses the hardest of the 8 returning battles and the easiest. If you did gemini man last, this is priority. Quick refight is the hardest of fhe 8, as he has no easy way to beat him and can easily get free damage frame 1 of the fight. Use search snake or gemini laser. Both make the game very laggy, which helps you realize what quick is doing.
Needle man's area is next. Be very careful with ammo consumpion and don't just use rush jet. Dragonflies are dangerous.
Then, do shadow man revisit. Just be a bit careful around the beginning, but everything after is nice and simple.
When fighting bubble man, using rush jet or rush marine makes the bot blue screen. He can't attack you until you land, and rush doesn't count as floor.
Final proto battle makes 0 sense but you fight him like usual.
The turtles can easily be beaten with top spin. They all perish instantly to it, so feel free to use all of it.
If you die to the yellow devil in this game, you need to learn how to play mega man again. Sliding is just so good.
Mega clone fight begins with the one you can hurt being on top, so use rush coil to get up there fast and then do the glitch.
Wily was the worst experience for me. You can easily beat phase 1 with spark man's weapon and do hard knuckle during phase 2. If you are bad like me, use search snake.
Gamma is pathetic in comparison. Stand beneath him and use shadow blade. Then use the exploit to send him to the next universe. If that fails, use search snake.
The reason, why Mega Man 3 is glitchy, is because it was actually released unfinished. Not that it mattered much.
I want to watch more of these.
Idc what people say. I use save states before I face shadow man just in case top spin screws me and uses all it's energy while dealing little or no damage. Top spin is the only weapon in 1-11 you have that has a chance to backfire on you just for using it. Add on to that you have to put yourself in harms way to use this unpredictable weapon when all others do the job better. Worst weapon in the entire classic series if you ask me lol
im guessing is called Hammer Joe (10:26) cause he is spinning an hammer....but not a regular hammer, it's a hammer that is used in the track and field sport event, Hammer Throw, where you spin this ball on a rope, with a handle, the Hammer, in a circle and let go, letting it fly out into the field. Forgot all about it til heard you mention the name and watching the enemy, it clicked in why they called him that.
at the beginning of hard man's stage, You can completely avoid the bees by sliding to the left of the screen just enough so that they de spawn. If you continue moving forward the next bee enemy will apprear a nd you can de spawn them in the same way.

Given than half the enjoyment I get out of these is “wow, what weird robots and cool gimmicks are we gonna get”, I actually wish level remixes would come back. With the castles it’s like, “wow, let me guess, a generic metal fortress?” I often procrastinate for over a week after finishing the last robot master level in a mega man game.
This was a good guide until the clone megaman part at 37:15 I mean it's a walkthrough, you can't assume I know the glitches. If I knew the glitches I wouldn't be watching a walkthrough....
Had to check a separate guide for that boss. Still, good video.

Magnet Man is equally as weak to Shadow Blade as he is to Spark Shock (both kill in 4 hits).

The doc robot stages and bosses are not THAT hard. It's a decent challenge, but not difficult, I can think of many NES games or games in general with stages that are much more difficult.
