This is an important video. Thank you. I wish more people would spend the time to learn what this organization knows. This is our future. Great job on making this video! ^5
One of the first things i was taught about these Animals was that they Deserved respect whether observing them or hunting them, over time that put in my thoughts that hunting Them you were harvesting an animal, to kill something is a cold thought, a quick end but to harvest an animal will lead your thoughts through why you engaged In the act and the steps taken to show your respect for that animal. Warm feelings are emited. The ones that are not ok with our act seem to be a bit calmer and at times it allows you to share with them your views abouy it.
I am sharing this video and hope many more people do!!! This has opened my eyes and hit me in the heart!! You guy are doing some amazing thing!!!! Thank you 🙏
I know this is an older video but I just want to say what a great job you guys did with it! I came here after hearing Steven Rinella's podcast talking about mule deer.
Awesome Documentary! Loved it! Really well done and the message was spot on, the cinematography was remarkable as well! I would like to see more like it!
Keep it up! Thankyou for making a positive difference for the wildlife and the future of hunting. I would like to get involved. Does MDF have a NW chapter in Washington? I would like to see the Blacktail getting some help.
I live in south central British Columbia and I have mule deer live around my property. One old doe literally lives around my property and usually has two fawns every year. We have found some plants they don’t like but they do a lot of damage to the landscaping. Our cedars are bare up to six feet high. My wife calls them the landscape crew? They also draw in mountain lions, bears and coyotes especially in the spring when they drop their fawns?
This was a very good video. However there is a direct correlation to the reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone and the declining deer/elk populations. And while that may not be inclusive everywhere it is certainly an issue.
First part of the video "Mule deer numbers are declining, and we must do everything we can to preserve this beautiful creature" Second part of the video "I hunt mule deer for sport" the cognitive dissonance here is impressive.
Yeah, many animals in Africa were on the verge of extinction too. When the African government started managing species for hunting... putting value on them, they saved the species. Man only takes care of what they see value in. Sportsmen and women ARE the conservationists. They are the ones who put their dollars to work, who volunteer for habitat projects and who assist in studies. No hunting = no $ for habitat conservation, disease studies, animal transplanting, or migration corridor management.
Thank You. Give Back!
The only foundation I one hundred percent agree with- mule deer are essential for the west and worth preserving!
Fantastic and informative video. Great work Jason!

Thank you for embracing the nuance of the predator-prey situation! Great to see a video that doesn't simply demonize or worship predators.
Great video. Enjoyed it!
Fantastically done.

Sorry you missed the point of the film Corey, might be worth watching again if that was your take away...
