- Deer got in the pool a few years ago and I ended up putting about 100 patches in it. It held up for a few years but now it's losing inches of water a day!! Let's see if I can make it stop!!

Chad, love this one! We have a backyard in-ground pool too and for years we fought it. My wife affectionately refers to it as our 5 and dime pool. They are great when there are no issues, but when it is an issue then all you want to do is fill it in. Love the old Echo weed-eater too.

Hey Chad. I used to fix holes in liner pools for 20 odd years. Allows cut a circle much less chance of failure. I think I had no more than 1/2 dozen failures. Good luck. Bob
Ya, just cement the bottom and sides of the pool then you don't have to buy a new liner, and you don't have to wait till next year they can deliver the cement tomorrow, call your handy dandilly helpers and getter done

Man Chad that vinyl pool brings back some ole memories for this ole feller yessir I had one here in LV and went thru the same ordeal as you minus the wildlife of course finally bit the bullet and 30 thousand dollars later yup all the bells and whistles slide diving board in floor clean system but it was worth for the time it saved me and the stress lol oh and as for the edger I gave up on em went cordless the fuel we get here in the desert is pure junk and those small engines hate it good luck on the mini split.
Bummer on the pool. This feels like a good year to have one, too. Keep up the good work!

Maybe you could put a privacy fence on the wooded side of your pool as a deer detour

Little trick on that blue hose..whatever size pvc you got laying around and will fit..drop it in that hose to where your kink keeps happening then lay a bric on hose..still restricted but definitely better than flat or kinked.
I had a pool when my boys were at home and when the younger one moved out I filled that dang thing up with dirt! Those things are an expensive pain in the you know what! Good luck with yours.👍👍

In your last video on your pool liner.I made a comment about flex seal tape.
One thing that people don't realize is that when you use the actual tape it has to be on the plane surface and not over an existing patch.
You had indicated that it was used over and existing patch and that was one of the.Reasons why it didn't stick.Also, there's an adhesion time that you should follow while using the flex tape.Otherwise , it's as good as not even using it all.
I've used it on other holes and it doesn't stick. It also says you can put it on underwater. Flex seal tape is garbage.

Fill it in and put in a hot tub. Plant a garden too.
Chad sorry about your poo I've always wanted one but didn't want to have to mess with keeping it up so I just watch you enjoy yours when you get it going probably won't be until next year now but I'll still be here long as the good Lord's willing till next time this and that I'll be watching next week on both channels not really channels but UA-cam's Facebook's Indiana next week

Use the flex seal tape. Or gorilla glue brand. It sealed my aluminum boat!! It’s really good product!

So I was unfortunate enough as a late teenager to have had a friend (a few years older than me) who was a 'pool guy'. Yeah he actually knew his stuff even for a 21 year old at the time, but we also knew the old guys, the masters of our area.. anyway.. I learned a LOT about swimming pools over the 2 seasons I worked with him.. One think I do know, when your liner pool water level gets below the shallow end and into the slope, you should really put a vacuum behind the liner as you fill it back up. It REALLY helps with the wrinkles as the water level rises.. you don't need to kick it or any of that.. it's just a vacuum with a long flat wide thin end on it, you tape it back behind the liner at the mid section of the shallow end on a side.. it works SURPRISINGLY well..

A man my family knew when I was a kid had a wife and two daughters. Well, the wife and kids wanted an inground pool. Soooo, he paid the money and had one put in. The first two or three years the wife and kids loved it and invited all their friends over. Well, after about the third year they used it less and less while he kept up the cleaning and maintenance. Finally after about five years he was FED UP. So, one day after his wife went to work and his kids went to school he had dump trucks come in and fill it with dirt. When the wife and kids got home he had tomatoes planted in the pool hahahaha

Why do you take the liner off a minute you’ll never have that problem again. Is various expensive to cement it but you have a pool just an idea.

Frog pond? Nope. I’d fill that in with concrete and build climate controlled storage for motorcycles. But that’s just me.
