Hey legends, my wife and I are heading to Japan in February and heading to the snow for 7 nights, we can't decide between Hakuba, Myoko or Nozawa Onsen. We've been to Hakuba in 2020 and loved it but wondering if we should try somewhere different. I board (intermediate) and she ski's (beginner). Any recommendations between the 3?
Definitely, I have done all 3 areas. Hakaba was least favourite as snow was light and villages very spread out compared to the others. Nozawa was great village for food but only one ski field near by, but there are some close by bus. Myoko has been my pick every time I head there at least a week with compact villages and 4 mountains close by and more not far away by bus.
Not Yet, most people stay Akakura or Myoko town and Kanko and Onsen day pass $70 for both mountains and they next to each other. Suginohara is a short bus ride about 30min and it’s $60 a day. Bit cheaper than OZ and way better 👍
looooveee akakura onsen!! spent about a month in Myoko last season
Yes it is our favourite ski/snowboard destination in Japan. Thanks for watching the video.
Best video yet
Thanks glad you enjoyed

@@genxplorers Awesome, Myoko is sounding good then! Is there a lift pass that covers all the mountains?

😂😂😂 yeah na
Cheers for watching 👍
I've got to say no.
Akakura is too flat. It's pretty boring.
Families with young kids maybe.
