i knew alex when he was recording for king snake records in sanford, fl. alex was an incredible story teller and performer. he and i had great conversations about his days of touring with the allman brothers band. he roomed with berry oakley. he was very gracious. i'll treasure my times with him forever.
Good grief, Liv, you are so right. I remember you from our time together on North Belknap at Mclean Hospital when I was 16 and you were about 17. You haven't changed a bit. I am so glad to see you have lived a great life, made your music, and turned out to be a truly decent human being. God bless.
I played with Alex at a party at John Halls house in Edgartown. I happened to have a guitar and my girlfriend and I were singing some songs. Alex came over and joined in. He had music in him for sure.
Kate has a 2005 release and 4 earlier ones - Alex has 5 total and can still be found if you surf a bit . . .

How did Alex and James end up such big addicts? What happened to them that they destroyed their lives for so many years?

This touched my heart because I have a deceased older brother (born on the 28th of Feb.) like Alex. My Older Brother looked after me to
he's a very good story teller, i just feel that he's making a lot of it up.
He does resembles James but never talked about him. Only Alex who James never talked about either.
Wow... this is so exceptional; I'm hooked.
But where's the next chapter? I can't seem to find chapter 5 of 10.
Oh well; maybe some things are better left unstated. The missing link might sometimes have more creative power than all of the parts that are actually present.
But that doesn't explain how I lost my toothbrush. Now I have to go downstairs and buy a new one. So sometimes it's better to have all of the pieces present and accounted for.
Unless you happen to like missing teeth, I guess.

Yep, they both did solo albums. A lot of stuff on YT now.

FiConnie Boyer You’re right. Livingston is James Taylor’s brother. I think there were 4 siblings? Not positive. He’s just talking about his brother, Alex, in this video because he loved him & he passed away in 1993, I think.

Buanand like you said, his father...not him...& with 4 other siblings I’m sure they had plenty of money to pay bills, buy instruments & pay for classes to learn how to play those instruments, etc...that doesn’t mean the kids are just gonna be given money to go blow on whatever they feel like. That’s probably why they all turned out as hard workers with big dreams. I certainly don’t know them, but it seems like they didn’t expect everything to be given to them, so they worked for it. They may have been given a lot, but movies sure seem extra to me. Idk 🤷🏼♀️
