+Worth A Buy i have experienced some rubber banding, but it seems to be working rather good, voice chat i barely have not experienced , and the few players who uses mics, well let's just say they are not of the highest quality. There is barely any teamwork at all involved, since i do not play it with friends, and the only way to communicate is to press the left arrow which brings up a little marker, but 99 % of the time it's each on their own.
+WickeD It's $15 and everything it provides is of the highest quality (at least for the genre). The micro transactions are also not humping you in the face to get you to buy their shit.
Still pay to win, still exorbitantly over priced but now if you want to get any of the new operators you either have to grind a ridiculous amount of the in game currency or you can pay £30 to to get all of a years operators. Super_ dude i had every operator that eas base game, 100hours, and all dlc legit at 400hours, my last 100 hours i raked up 100k cash so i can unlock 4 more operators, remember the operators used to cost 25k then 50k for the second, and yes i worked for that, now its 25k each, its not hard

No campaign, just that alone is reason enough not to buy it.The biggest problem with these online only games is that once people stop playing them the servers get shut down and your game is rendered useless. Try playing this in a few years time, it won't work. If I plug in my 20 year old ps1 I can still play all the games. If in 20 years time I plug in my ps4 it isn't going to do much.

Bought the starter edition pretty much a year ago for 7 Euros on a Steam sale and have played around 800 hours (admittedly, i've bought the year 1 pass for 20€, and the current season pass for 25€). The multiplayer is unbelievably good, paying the money does kinda suck, but Ubisoft (surpisingly) fixed a lot. Yiu get all base ops for free now, the year 1 ops only cost half the amount, lags and bugs occur, and will always continue to occur since it gets 2 new operators and either a new map or a map rework (basically revisiting old maps that don't work out really good for fairness/competetive reasons for example). So they constantly add new mechanics to the game, and so potentially game breaking bugs will occur by nature, but since Ubisoft does patches in between the seasons to fix these, so everything OK here too. Its definitely my favourite game.
I got it for $45 on UPlay and it's currently $45 on Steam during the Winter Sale. I haven't had any problems with the servers (this is post patch 1.1 on PC). I'm loving the game. I held off on purchasing this until the patch update and sale. What changed my mind was the free-weekend where I crammed as many hours as I could into the game. Ubisoft really needs to make another free-weekend without stipulations (like giving out 4 keys to owners of the game to hand out) to really get this game going. $60 on a multiplayer makes people weary of attempting to purchase it.
Mack, this game takes a huge departure from the original Rainbow Six games, and yet you judge it harshly simply because it's not like the old ones... Then you go and judge the game on the PvE mode, which is in no way the main purpose of the game. I agree with you on the shitty mic stuff and the fucking awful connection issues. And then you have the problems with Uplay where the squads are hard as fuck to make work since almost every time one person or another will just lose connection while joining the match... I think it was more meant as a competitor to CS:GO, although a lot of the execution was sloppy, and they could have done better.

UBI are asking £50 for a multiplayer only game with 10 maps and very laggy gameplay, it does not even have dedicated servers. The actual shotguns are all usable as sniper shotguns. If it doesn't kill, it will make the enemies stumble and they can't shoot during a stumble animation. Also, the tags stay in place, in CBT the tags followed enemies, but the tagging of enemies now just tags where you saw them, but a lot of the enemies move, which is nice. It'd be pretty boring if they didn't move.
I must say , dissapointed about this review . You complain about thing like marking enemies however this is only on casual mode. Also this game is a competitive multiplayer game , therefore it was said very clearly a campaign was never intended. Also you don't comment about how great the map design and sound is, you can hear footsteps etc through walls. This is the game we been waiting for after years of cod games . also you can buy it for 35 dollar on most key sites

And for me, the sound is very important , especially in tactical fps's. I am talking not just about hearing footsteps thought walls but how you can hear how the enemy walks on the roof of your building , you can hear what armor they got and what surface they walk on. It is hard to explain but try giving the sound design a thought next time you play .

You should think about doing reviews when the first sale happens. I feel that games often launch like crap and then smooth themselves out in the first couple months. I have only had a fantastic time playing this game. I didn't buy it until 50% off.
You said something about it not being possible to turn your mic off. When I played it closed beta and open beta there was push to talk and it worked quite well. Its in the options.
Thank you Mack, I'm a long time Rainbow Six fan myself too and I just didn't feel too keen on the whole idea of there being absolutely no singleplayer, but I was still interested. I tried to put my cynicism aside for the sake of some good rainbow six gameplay, I wanted it to be good, but the outrageous price considering the sheer lack of content compared to the other games has put me off entirely. Not only that, but honestly I think if you put this game side by side with some battlefield 4 or csgo footage there isn't that much of a difference in how they play really. It's supposed to be a tactical shooter, there's supposed to be moments of quiet preparation before you storm a room or a building, but it's just not there. It's just people running into eachother like any other shooter. Guess I'm going back to Vegas 2 and SWAT 4.
This game has progressed very far from it's original state, and the creators have been supporting the game and the community for a long time. I think this game seriously deserves a revisit. And while I do agree that a single player campaign would have been a nice touch, I would much rather that they made sure the multiplayer was up to par.
Your reviews always save me a lot of money. I've always enjoyed Tom Clancy games (RB6, Ghost Recon, Vegas etc). But this is nothing like those games, no co-op campaign... the 'terrorist hunt' mode seems a bit shit. Even the multiplayer maps for Vegas were larger and more elaborate + all the customization options. I feel like games are going backwards these days, no way I'm paying $80 for games that seem to forget all the content that made their predecessors fantastic experiences. .

I think it's worth the 40 US dollars I payed for it through Green Man Gaming. I do not believe it's worth full retail of $60 USD. 40 is my limit on multiplayer only game.

In short bursts and with cooperative friends or at least polite randoms it shines. Seems like more than the 'rambo style' games that this will depend more on its community for the longevity of the game.
The density of the maps are what I enjoy plus they have pledged to add free maps and characters. Microtransactions are not essential to the game in my opinion. I do not think anyone should pay even more money for these boosts and skins. However if someone wants to make that choice and they essentially pay for me to have more content, well thank you not-so-smart consumer lol.

A £50 game with micro-transactions? Yeah, I just lost every ounce of interest I had in this. And no campaign to boot, what is wrong with modern games developers? Why do they think we gamers are completely sociable all of a sudden? Give us single player back thank you... We all like a blast on multiplayer, but not all the time..
+bowser515 So far the micro transaction are nothing. Just fluff weapon skins you hardly see. Every player gets all the content in the game and there is little to no grind needed to unlock Operators (other characters). With 10h played I have about 70% of the Operators unlocked already. So the micro stuff is just for weapon skins and ingame credit increases which are not really needed at all. However, too me at least. Its pretty obvious that IF the Devs think they can get away with it. They might introduce "PayDay 2" like skin boosts. I say this because even the skins are tiered. Tier 1-3 skins can be bought or unlocked, but tier 4-5 can only be bought with R6 credits (real money). So, if the game gets pop and "MLG". I wouldnt be surprised if you see a Tier 4-5 or maybe 6 being slight weapon boosts as well which is needed in high tier PvP matches to avoid losing to equally skilled players. That said, they have not hinted towards anything like this, nor is anything like it in the game currently. All future Operators and Maps DLC will be free as well. Season Pass for example is just early access to Operators, not needing to unlock them, 5% credit boost and 600 R6 credits. Its practically pointless.
+bowser515 keep in mind that dlcs are going to be free. Maps wont be locked behind a paywall and new operators can also be bought with the ingame currency which you aquire really fast. However, i understand the fuss about this game not having singleplayer. Should have lowered the price.
Feremir Yep, I guess i'm just getting too old for this rubbish. I'm not averse to spending money when it is deserved, I've spent hundreds of pounds on DCS: World for instance (so much more if you take hardware into account, Thrustmaster warthog, Trackir 5, Saitek combat rudder pedals etc etc) and own every module. But these so called AAA titles we are seeing of late and just not worth the money they are charging at all. You can't remove large amounts of content and still charge a premium price, something has to give because as we all know, you can't have your cake and eat it... Not for long anyway.
How are things my friend. I am having a nightmare constantly with console games these days trying to find a game were I can get immersed in. I find that all the games I buy I try force myself to like them due to there been no other games, the witcher been one of them. The games may look great but the game play are a load ov wank. Got this during a sale on Steam and have put 28 hours into it so far. While I enjoy the core game the amount of bugs, connection issues and exploits are really stopping me from enjoying it all that much. I'm constantly having an issue where every few deaths someone kills me from an impossible location, then when I see the kill cam they were somewhere where I should have seen them and be able to have shot back. Seeing as this has been out for a while now I'm losing any sort of hope Ubisoft are going to fix the bugs and make the game good, they're probably busy churning out the next AssassinsCry Clancy game.

This is my first Rainbow Six game, and i like it alot. A nice change from fast paced COD and BF games. I haven't had the lag and rubber banding that you've had. I've only been kicked/lost connection once.But i do have the weird mic issues. The mic issues are very annoying. Didn't realize anyone could hear me til after a while people started cursing at me to knock off the britney spears singing. I've been really enjoying it. I got my key for about $34 though, is it worth $60? meh i dunno, so far i've had much more fun than i've had in COd and in some other games that seem to have much more content. thanks for the video.

I was on both the closed and open beta for xbox one. Never lagged like what I saw on your vid. Alot of people didnt have mics. You can mute the ones that do though. I had a blast playing it, but I knew what it was going in....so I wasnt dissapointed. Does it make want to play a REAL Rainbow game....YES.... But taking it for what it is.....its a good game.....just gotta wait a couple months for it to come down

This is one the most disappointing games I've ever played. I understand people like this game and the reasons or that is that it's one of the only tactical shooters of its type on the market. The reason why I'm mad is that the rainbow six Vegas games are my favourite games and this game is nothing like it. I don't mind siege but it's not a RSV game. Wish they just gave it another name. Btw the community is toxic af. Your own teammates shoot you for trying to talk on the mic and helping them out.
Does this game have the ability to prop your back up against a doorway so you can peek in like Vegas did ? I really loved that aspect of the game, and it worked really well in multiplayer too. Also what about Terrorist hunt? or are all the coop missions just bomb and hostage missions ?

Did you ever read Tom Clancy books and all his legacy? Did you know that almost everything where you see his name the things are really existing and it has been researched? Yes counter terrorist units has heartbeat sensors and all those fancy stuff you maybe raging. And trust me even if you know where are the enemies in the game (at least some small percentage) they could kill you anyway so it isn't that much help most of the time but at least you know where to look. I think I found a way to fix the mic problem. Go into options turn the mic off then set it back to push to talk, so far I've been using skype and have been doing this method and its been fine so far. It also resets if you join a party. Hope this helps
Hey Mack have you heard of the game Due Process? It's like Siege but an in development indie game. It might be worth keeping an eye on if you even slightly enjoyed Siege. It's what I've been banking on since I pessimistically assumed Siege was gonna be garbage

Season passes, day one dlc, pre orders, yearly installments of franchises that have become little more than holding patterns (CoD, AC). Michael Sørensen Did you play this game? The shooting isn't point and click. CoD is point and click. The multiplayer also is definitely not mediocre. It's extremely innovative and unique. Find me a first person multiplayer shooter as tactical as this game. I'm not being a fan boy, I'm calling things as they are. This game is meant to be a multiplayer experience. It not having single player doesn't make it any worse.

As for hot mics, what we found is that anytime you join a squad or load into a mp game, your mic will be hot, just tap your talk key and it stops. why is EVERYTHING destructible but you cannot shoot out lights wtf? I'm trying to figure out the gun play....seems like there are hit reg issues, mixed with some desync similar to BF games before they were patched. Im enjoying it for now...mostly when im not saying "wtf he should be dead!"
Hi Mack, I would love you to do a worth a buy with Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. It's a console game from 2012 that takes a tried and tested genre (fantasy RPG) and innovates. It was a bit quirky but the combat system incorporated a mechanism for climbing on top of monsters, like a Chimera, A dragon, A Troll, etc. and hack it's head off, or tail, or its other head. Controls might be a bit clunky but well worth checking out. One of my fondest memories of the game was climbing onto a dragon and hanging of it's back as it took to the sky. I lost my grip once or twice only to grab on to a leg or a loose scale and continuing hacking away at it until I forced it to land. Good times.

Mack you should really change your sponsor from greenmangaming to something else, I went to GMG to get Battlefront the day after it released and they took my money but I didn't receive a code, they didn't even list on their website or email me that they had no codes left and after doing research I found out that I'd have to wait 2-3 weeks to receive one. It was only after three support tickets and an angry tweet when I got my money back. I dont know if this happens often but others claimed that the same situation had happened to them. After that I cant trust the site, and the only reason I went to them was because of your videos. nice review btw :)

I feel like almost all game companies are going down hill. I do very much dislike ubisofts main aaa development team very much, however they have a green light team that makes amazing games like Child Of Light. That game was awesome. I feel like every triple a title now is fucking garbage. Hell even fallout 4 and tales of zestiria were way under par. Companies are just obsessed with money and they know that people are going to give it to them whether they release a finished title or not. We as a community, a gaming community, should pirate games and not buy them because we need to teach dev and big companies they cannot bully us around. I know I have always pirated the far cry series. I am glad I did. Farcry 4 sucked and three was meh. Honestly the best part of farcry 4 or any game in the farcry franchise was the beginning where you can sit at the table for 5 minutes and then pagin min comes back and puts you on his helicopter and you go blow shit up. It made the game literally 5 minutes but was the best part.
I didn't have mic problems and my in-game push-to-talk worked just fine during the closed beta. To me the coop just seems crappy because of the points you made about the AI etc. It's most fun to play vs. with your mates imo. And the enemy tagging just pings the enemies to the location they were at that time and if they move, the mark doesn't. The reason for that is, that some players don't have mics or the map knowlege to inform their buddies about the location of the enemy, even though the operative damn sure would. So it just states the current location as stationary mark for a few seconds and if you want to keep your friends up to date on the enemy movement, you need to keep pinging them... and in PvP the enemy knows that they are being pinged (by telepathic powers?) and usually are quick to destroy your drone/stationary camera.
Mack sorry bit off topic but howd you feel about getting the Horizons expansion knowing your forced to rebuy ED included in it. I didnt feel the 10 quid discount to existing owners was enough considering ED was still 30 quid at the time, dont you think they should have had a separate expansion for exisitng owners at 10-15 quid? I do love ED but it does feel like a kick in the nuts, im probably becoming an old twat now but I still want value for money :)

+Worth A Buy i have experienced some rubber banding, but it seems to be working rather good, voice chat i barely have not experienced , and the few players who uses mics, well let's just say they are not of the highest quality. There is barely any teamwork at all involved, since i do not play it with friends, and the only way to communicate is to press the left arrow which brings up a little marker, but 99 % of the time it's each on their own.

No campaign, just that alone is reason enough not to buy it.The biggest problem with these online only games is that once people stop playing them the servers get shut down and your game is rendered useless. Try playing this in a few years time, it won't work. If I plug in my 20 year old ps1 I can still play all the games. If in 20 years time I plug in my ps4 it isn't going to do much.

Bought the starter edition pretty much a year ago for 7 Euros on a Steam sale and have played around 800 hours (admittedly, i've bought the year 1 pass for 20€, and the current season pass for 25€). The multiplayer is unbelievably good, paying the money does kinda suck, but Ubisoft (surpisingly) fixed a lot. Yiu get all base ops for free now, the year 1 ops only cost half the amount, lags and bugs occur, and will always continue to occur since it gets 2 new operators and either a new map or a map rework (basically revisiting old maps that don't work out really good for fairness/competetive reasons for example). So they constantly add new mechanics to the game, and so potentially game breaking bugs will occur by nature, but since Ubisoft does patches in between the seasons to fix these, so everything OK here too. Its definitely my favourite game.
I got it for $45 on UPlay and it's currently $45 on Steam during the Winter Sale. I haven't had any problems with the servers (this is post patch 1.1 on PC). I'm loving the game. I held off on purchasing this until the patch update and sale.
What changed my mind was the free-weekend where I crammed as many hours as I could into the game.
Ubisoft really needs to make another free-weekend without stipulations (like giving out 4 keys to owners of the game to hand out) to really get this game going. $60 on a multiplayer makes people weary of attempting to purchase it.

Mack, this game takes a huge departure from the original Rainbow Six games, and yet you judge it harshly simply because it's not like the old ones... Then you go and judge the game on the PvE mode, which is in no way the main purpose of the game. I agree with you on the shitty mic stuff and the fucking awful connection issues. And then you have the problems with Uplay where the squads are hard as fuck to make work since almost every time one person or another will just lose connection while joining the match... I think it was more meant as a competitor to CS:GO, although a lot of the execution was sloppy, and they could have done better.

The actual shotguns are all usable as sniper shotguns.
If it doesn't kill, it will make the enemies stumble and they can't shoot during a stumble animation.
Also, the tags stay in place, in CBT the tags followed enemies, but the tagging of enemies now just tags where you saw them, but a lot of the enemies move, which is nice. It'd be pretty boring if they didn't move.
I must say , dissapointed about this review . You complain about thing like marking enemies however this is only on casual mode. Also this game is a competitive multiplayer game , therefore it was said very clearly a campaign was never intended. Also you don't comment about how great the map design and sound is, you can hear footsteps etc through walls. This is the game we been waiting for after years of cod games . also you can buy it for 35 dollar on most key sites

It is hard to explain but try giving the sound design a thought next time you play .

You should think about doing reviews when the first sale happens. I feel that games often launch like crap and then smooth themselves out in the first couple months. I have only had a fantastic time playing this game. I didn't buy it until 50% off.
You said something about it not being possible to turn your mic off. When I played it closed beta and open beta there was push to talk and it worked quite well. Its in the options.
This game has made a huge comeback. They fixed it almost completely.
Thank you Mack, I'm a long time Rainbow Six fan myself too and I just didn't feel too keen on the whole idea of there being absolutely no singleplayer, but I was still interested. I tried to put my cynicism aside for the sake of some good rainbow six gameplay, I wanted it to be good, but the outrageous price considering the sheer lack of content compared to the other games has put me off entirely. Not only that, but honestly I think if you put this game side by side with some battlefield 4 or csgo footage there isn't that much of a difference in how they play really. It's supposed to be a tactical shooter, there's supposed to be moments of quiet preparation before you storm a room or a building, but it's just not there. It's just people running into eachother like any other shooter.
Guess I'm going back to Vegas 2 and SWAT 4.
This game has progressed very far from it's original state, and the creators have been supporting the game and the community for a long time. I think this game seriously deserves a revisit. And while I do agree that a single player campaign would have been a nice touch, I would much rather that they made sure the multiplayer was up to par.

Your reviews always save me a lot of money. I've always enjoyed Tom Clancy games (RB6, Ghost Recon, Vegas etc). But this is nothing like those games, no co-op campaign... the 'terrorist hunt' mode seems a bit shit. Even the multiplayer maps for Vegas were larger and more elaborate + all the customization options. I feel like games are going backwards these days, no way I'm paying $80 for games that seem to forget all the content that made their predecessors fantastic experiences. .

The density of the maps are what I enjoy plus they have pledged to add free maps and characters. Microtransactions are not essential to the game in my opinion. So far the micro transaction are nothing. Just fluff weapon skins you hardly see.
Every player gets all the content in the game and there is little to no grind needed to unlock Operators (other characters). With 10h played I have about 70% of the Operators unlocked already. So the micro stuff is just for weapon skins and ingame credit increases which are not really needed at all.
However, too me at least. Its pretty obvious that IF the Devs think they can get away with it. They might introduce "PayDay 2" like skin boosts. I say this because even the skins are tiered. Tier 1-3 skins can be bought or unlocked, but tier 4-5 can only be bought with R6 credits (real money). So, if the game gets pop and "MLG". I wouldnt be surprised if you see a Tier 4-5 or maybe 6 being slight weapon boosts as well which is needed in high tier PvP matches to avoid losing to equally skilled players. That said, they have not hinted towards anything like this, nor is anything like it in the game currently.
All future Operators and Maps DLC will be free as well.
Season Pass for example is just early access to Operators, not needing to unlock them, 5% credit boost and 600 R6 credits. Its practically pointless.
+bowser515 keep in mind that dlcs are going to be free. Maps wont be locked behind a paywall and new operators can also be bought with the ingame currency which you aquire really fast. However, i understand the fuss about this game not having singleplayer. Should have lowered the price.

Yep, I guess i'm just getting too old for this rubbish. I'm not averse to spending money when it is deserved, I've spent hundreds of pounds on DCS: World for instance (so much more if you take hardware into account, Thrustmaster warthog, Trackir 5, Saitek combat rudder pedals etc etc) and own every module. But these so called AAA titles we are seeing of late and just not worth the money they are charging at all. You can't remove large amounts of content and still charge a premium price, something has to give because as we all know, you can't have your cake and eat it... Not for long anyway.

Got this during a sale on Steam and have put 28 hours into it so far.
While I enjoy the core game the amount of bugs, connection issues and exploits are really stopping me from enjoying it all that much.
I'm constantly having an issue where every few deaths someone kills me from an impossible location, then when I see the kill cam they were somewhere where I should have seen them and be able to have shot back.
Seeing as this has been out for a while now I'm losing any sort of hope Ubisoft are going to fix the bugs and make the game good, they're probably busy churning out the next AssassinsCry Clancy game.

This is my first Rainbow Six game, and i like it alot. A nice change from fast paced COD and BF games. I haven't had the lag and rubber banding that you've had. I've only been kicked/lost connection once.But i do have the weird mic issues. The mic issues are very annoying. Didn't realize anyone could hear me til after a while people started cursing at me to knock off the britney spears singing. I've been really enjoying it. I got my key for about $34 though, is it worth $60? meh i dunno, so far i've had much more fun than i've had in COd and in some other games that seem to have much more content.

I can't believe how much flak I've gotten on places like Reddit for expecting a single player campaign in a series with a 15 year history of quality single player campaigns. This game and Star Wars Battlefront really crushed me, they could have been so much more.

This is one the most disappointing games I've ever played. I understand people like this game and the reasons or that is that it's one of the only tactical shooters of its type on the market. The reason why I'm mad is that the rainbow six Vegas games are my favourite games and this game is nothing like it. I don't mind siege but it's not a RSV game. Wish they just gave it another name. Btw the community is toxic af. Your own teammates shoot you for trying to talk on the mic and helping them out.
Does this game have the ability to prop your back up against a doorway so you can peek in like Vegas did ? I really loved that aspect of the game, and it worked really well in multiplayer too.

I just realize you are doing the same thing on all your videos.....I loved No Man's Sky review since there you were right in every damn point......but here mate? you are really saying fuck fuck fuck all the time because can tag enemies? Did you ever read Tom Clancy books and all his legacy? Did you know that almost everything where you see his name the things are really existing and it has been researched? Yes counter terrorist units has heartbeat sensors and all those fancy stuff you maybe raging. And trust me even if you know where are the enemies in the game (at least some small percentage) they could kill you anyway so it isn't that much help most of the time but at least you know where to look. So.......mate.......I accept you opinion. You think that but as I experience you are always finding problems in every damn game which probably not really a problem.....maybe for you ok, and this is your channel. I think I found a way to fix the mic problem. Go into options turn the mic off then set it back to push to talk, so far I've been using skype and have been doing this method and its been fine so far. It also resets if you join a party.

Hey Mack have you heard of the game Due Process? It's like Siege but an in development indie game. It might be worth keeping an eye on if you even slightly enjoyed Siege. It's what I've been banking on since I pessimistically assumed Siege was gonna be garbage

Season passes, day one dlc, pre orders, yearly installments of franchises that have become little more than holding patterns (CoD, AC). Publishers and devs keep doing it because consumers allow them to. And they're hugely succesful at it, too.
On top of that, try saying one bad thing about a game of platform and the fanboys are jumping at you to call you a troll and what not. This behaviour is turning promising products to shit.

The multiplayer also is definitely not mediocre. It's extremely innovative and unique. Find me a first person multiplayer shooter as tactical as this game. I'm not being a fan boy, I'm calling things as they are.
This game is meant to be a multiplayer experience. It not having single player doesn't make it any worse.

As for hot mics, what we found is that anytime you join a squad or load into a mp game, your mic will be hot, just tap your talk key and it stops. why is EVERYTHING destructible but you cannot shoot out lights wtf? I'm trying to figure out the gun play....seems like there are hit reg issues, mixed with some desync similar to BF games before they were patched. Im enjoying it for now...mostly when im not saying "wtf he should be dead!"
Hi Mack, I would love you to do a worth a buy with Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. It's a console game from 2012 that takes a tried and tested genre (fantasy RPG) and innovates. It was a bit quirky but the combat system incorporated a mechanism for climbing on top of monsters, like a Chimera, A dragon, A Troll, etc. and hack it's head off, or tail, or its other head. Controls might be a bit clunky but well worth checking out. One of my fondest memories of the game was climbing onto a dragon and hanging of it's back as it took to the sky. I lost my grip once or twice only to grab on to a leg or a loose scale and continuing hacking away at it until I forced it to land. Good times.

Mack you should really change your sponsor from greenmangaming to something else, I went to GMG to get Battlefront the day after it released and they took my money but I didn't receive a code, they didn't even list on their website or email me that they had no codes left and after doing research I found out that I'd have to wait 2-3 weeks to receive one. It was only after three support tickets and an angry tweet when I got my money back. I dont know if this happens often but others claimed that the same situation had happened to them. After that I cant trust the site, and the only reason I went to them was because of your videos. nice review btw :)
There is push-to-talk and yes it does mute your mic when you aren't pressing the button.
The tagging is not like farcry ... the marker is static and simply gives a general idea of the enemy and they can shoot the drone and run away

I feel like almost all game companies are going down hill. I do very much dislike ubisofts main aaa development team very much, however they have a green light team that makes amazing games like Child Of Light. That game was awesome. I feel like every triple a title now is fucking garbage. Hell even fallout 4 and tales of zestiria were way under par. Companies are just obsessed with money and they know that people are going to give it to them whether they release a finished title or not. We as a community, a gaming community, should pirate games and not buy them because we need to teach dev and big companies they cannot bully us around. I know I have always pirated the far cry series. I am glad I did. Farcry 4 sucked and three was meh. Honestly the best part of farcry 4 or any game in the farcry franchise was the beginning where you can sit at the table for 5 minutes and then pagin min comes back and puts you on his helicopter and you go blow shit up. It made the game literally 5 minutes but was the best part.
I didn't have mic problems and my in-game push-to-talk worked just fine during the closed beta. To me the coop just seems crappy because of the points you made about the AI etc. It's most fun to play vs. with your mates imo. And the enemy tagging just pings the enemies to the location they were at that time and if they move, the mark doesn't. The reason for that is, that some players don't have mics or the map knowlege to inform their buddies about the location of the enemy, even though the operative damn sure would. So it just states the current location as stationary mark for a few seconds and if you want to keep your friends up to date on the enemy movement, you need to keep pinging them... and in PvP the enemy knows that they are being pinged (by telepathic powers?) and usually are quick to destroy your drone/stationary camera.

Mack sorry bit off topic but howd you feel about getting the Horizons expansion knowing your forced to rebuy ED included in it. I didnt feel the 10 quid discount to existing owners was enough considering ED was still 30 quid at the time, dont you think they should have had a separate expansion for exisitng owners at 10-15 quid? I do love ED but it does feel like a kick in the nuts, im probably becoming an old twat now but I still want value for money :)
