- In this video I rank all of the Mobs in the Minecraft Mob Votes! From the iconic first vote adding the phantom into the game, to the latest 2023 mob vote introducing the crab, armadillo, and penguin, this video ranks them all. Do you really believe that all of these mobs should’ve been left out of the game? And which ones would you want to see in Minecraft?

I think many of the winners have the disadvantage of being fully realized. I think the majority losers may have been equally disappointing.

Copper Golem was so snubbed, but I’m confident we’ll see it in the game soon. Also, Monster of the Ocean Depths would have been a great addition - I think the seas really are lacking a giant hostile sea monster, and they won’t feel complete till we get one
i dont know the overworld should feel safe...at least relativley....at night there are monsters but thats fine....but if you drive with your boat and randomly get sucked towards the bottom and have to fight for your life then it would be pretty annoying and scary to go anywhere by boat...maybe if its like a ocean monument and you can boat around it or maybe its in deep oceans and you have to swim down to activate it....then it would be pretty nice i guess
@@Trible_F I feel like the oceans are kind of an exception for safety. Sailing irl is very dangerous so the oceans in Minecraft should reflect that! The drowned give this effect as well, but I think a traditional sea monster would fit great
i do want a REAL see monster not no GUARDIAN LOL
1. Crab (extended reach and breaking is insaneeeee)
2. Armadillo (we've been asking for dog armor for so long plus the savannah is dead)
3. Hovering Inferno (a lot of potential and will make getting blaze rods more exciting)
4. Copper Golem (copper buttons, statue and random pressing do i need to say more)
5. Rascal (could've been handy when you're running out of pickaxes when mining and you dont want to travel to the surface)
6. Penguin (would be insane if it also boosts on ice and when sitting with you on the boat)
7. Sniffer (i rlly hope they add more plants in the future)
8. Allay (basically minecarts with hopper but slower)
9. Iceologer (imagine climbing up a mountain just to get ice blocks hurled at you)
10. Tuff Golem (lacks explanation on how they freeze and unfreeze and such)
11. Glare (will help bedrock players)
12. Moobloom (the only thing i can imagine getting from the moobloom is a way to farm flowers)
13. Phantom (slow falling potions and elytra repair come in handy sometimes ig)
14. Glow Squid (a glowing squid thats only purpose is to make signs and item frames glow)
15. Barnacle (who would want to get pulled deep in the ocean lets be honest)
16. The Great Hunger (grindstone but worse)
a very good list except inferno deserves 2nd
I hope mojang bring all those loser mobs in the future it's getting boring without them

personally I would have put the Moobloom above the phantom. would have added more life to the game (not that it's lacking, by any means)
Also I love the sniffer and would have probably put him a bit higher. a lot of people are disappointed that it doesn't really do anything, but he's just a lil homie and I think that that's the point. Maybe swapped with the rascal because I foresee a lot of potential bugs and frustrating despawns with different cave systems and such since you needed to find him three times.

Moobloom might’ve been really nice
The penguins aren't in snow because they are EMPEROR PENGUINS which live in tropical areas and probably done on purpose because they already added so much to the snowberry areas
AHH I see now. That makes sense but still I wanna see them in snowy biomes

I hope instead three new mobs they start to incorporate older mobs into the new mob vote. For example, for next year we get copper and tuff golem’s against a new third golem option.
would you want to see all the mobs that didnt make it just added into one update for a update?

this last mob vote was all bangers but only one could win.
copper golem, hovering inferno, iceolager could all have been useful.
and while moonbloods, great hunger, sea monster, rescale and the glare are all hot garbage i would not like to see again, i think giving it a 2nd go around would be good.
They need to just add 3 mobs a year, I don’t understand the big problem.
Also, they literally need to have a update forced on adding mobs to every biome so that they don’t look done, and we still want dogs like we got cats. Still upset that they made the ocelot useless though
id love three mobs a year but they kinda add three in total most times with the update that comes along anyway

I guess so, but I mean, they could add 10 mobs a year, it’s a big company who’s job is adding things to the game. We really need an mob update where they and tons of animals and other docile mobs and hostile mobs

It was never stated that the Hovering Inferno would spawn in the Nether Fortress, instead it would be a “random encounter in the Nether”. Do I know what this means, absolutely not, but it sure is a thing.
you know, I should've voted the rascal instead of sniffer. The sniffer was so underwhelming, as it only has 2 new plants getting added, which is only for decor, and dye, and nothing else.

IMAGINE AN ICE BOAT GOING FASTER
7:49 "Who knows?" everyone knows, from past mob votes, that mojang only implements the bear minimum in each mob, so don't go having any hype ideas about what the armor could be when it is most likely going to be a scute armor that can't be upgraded or trimmed. You'll put it on your dog and you'll sit him in the corner of your home 24/7. It's useless unless you fight mobs with your dog which is something that a marginal amount of people do.

Sad to see how low the glow squid and glare are. They were bad choices that don't have that much use but the former feels more insulting by not helping players see better in deep waters and confusing the players into thinking it had a hypnotizing effect, which would have been interesting and added more depth to it
The glare would be usefull maybe not for Java as you mentioned with f3 but for a console player like me it would be useful
thats fair but with the new lighting change in a recent update it doesnt matter too much since light levels to prevent spawning needs to be one at least
I mean Glares are useless if you have a pair of eyes
I’ve gone out there and said I’m quitting UA-cam if the armadillo loses
I would like to remind you we have all agreed to not vote for the blue mob because of the 🤢 phantom & glow squid 🤮 and voting for the crab is treason, not to mention it wouldn’t effect bedrock payers too much because reach is already pretty good in bedrock. The penguin is cute which has made 80% of my friends decide to vote for it but we already have a cute aquatic mob that can make you go faster, the dolphin.

2023 mob vote has to be the best one by far, all of the mobs are good and loveable, the usefulness and implementation of these mobs sound really good, this is actually the only mob vote that I actually don’t care about any of these mobs winning the vote, it’s just sad that we can’t get all three :(
the reason why everyone is so mad is because they ACTUALLY added three really good mobs and i want all three

well not fun but possibly messing with the mob and if it guarded any treasueres at the top of mountains it wouldve been interesting
I think the only thing you got incorrect is the blaze boss deserves #1 and crab deserves #2 but overall 15/16 tier list

idk why everyone i see is simping for the rescale?
the only thing i would be is a waste of time and an inventory clog.
we know it drops iron pickaxes, but what else? iron armor? iron swords? maybe a half durability shield? cobblestone/cobbled deepslate?

i wish that the currents mobs in the game could have more uses.
or that they would have a loser bracket to the better mobs that were disqualified, idk about you but a 3 way vote between the penguin, copper golem and hovering inferno could lead in to interesting locations.
also i feel like people are too hard on the sniffer, the point of the mob IS to get the ancient flowers and it does look like a massive plushie lol.

Well to be fair the copper golem couldve done redstone related things so thats why i ranked it higher and ITS A GOLEM so its just better

without glow squid we couldn't have very good signs
well they couldve added glow in a different way maybe
They could've easily transfered the Glow ink sac code to glow berries, there's no reason for the glow squid to exist
That copper Golem playing it's own version of Stanley Parable and then flipping into mining overdrive would have won my vote if this was the preview for it. Got a chuckle from me.

MY MOB VOTE!!! vote and I will ask mojang to add the one that gets the most vote
Option 1. Red Dragonfly (peaceful mob that drops a dragonfly wing which can be used to make a potion of flying)
Option 2. Zombie Scout (a hostile mob that comes out at night to watch the players they drop a scout hat which you can use to craft a head torch with 4 torches on the side, it will make it easier to see at night
Option 3. Giant Pufferfish (a hostile mob that drops a spike. the spike can be used in an anvil to get a sharpness III enchant. the mob only spawns in warm oceans)
The penguin is a rockhopper penguin, a penguin that hops on rocks, doesn’t live in snow
thats what i found out after recording LOL so it makes sense now
Cool but I feel like the hovering inferno would have been really annoying without a way to put out fire in the nether that isn’t cauldrons

The crab claw assist with the literal purpose of Minecraft building you do building more than anything in Minecraft the crab claw will assist and make building more efficient and less time consuming it’ll serve a better long-term function/purpose making it more useful then dog armour The dogs Ai is still terrible he still gonna fall from high spots and die and he’s still going to fall in lava and die your dog is not invincible

pretty much nailed it, crab on top
1. Crab - extended reach sounds great, even one block extra is double the blocks able to be reached
2. Iceologer - honestly looks great and would bring life and challenge to a place that is usually only seen from afar
3. Armadillo - dog armor sounds cool and fun and it looks cool
4. Allay - cool item functionality, more useful to redstone than copper golem would have ever been
5. Glow Squid - not exciting during the vote, but glow ink is actually fantastic now
6. Sniffer - very cute and has lots of potential
7. Rascal - cool and fun, could really improve the early game
8. Tuff Golem - item frames exist and are more versatile, could do interesting things to keep items from despawning
9. Phantom - honestly not too bad and slow falling is great
10. Copper Golem - far better randomizers already exist, unless something else was added, would never be used in redstone
11. Monster of the Ocean Depths - boats are my safe space don’t take that away
12. Penguin - cute but sounds useless
13. Hovering Inferno - fortresses are hard enough as is, especially the first time at one so this sounds very annoying
14. Moobloom - just sounds uninteresting
15. Glare - pointless
16. Great Hunger - sounds so annoying and now grindstones exist
