W quartz placement. Also, it seems like there aren’t many more tier lists you can do for this game. You should rank every crafting recipe, and then every single block. But for the blocks, things like let’s say quartz, will be ranked with their stairs and slabs. But smooth quartz and quartz pillars would be ranked separately. Oh and theres also other small things like ranking every wood and redstone component. Maybe even foods!

My list is Iron: Needed for everything Emerald: You can get full diamond with it easily+ easy to get Lapis: Enchanting Netherite: It's netherite Diamond: Would be higher, but emeralds can buy you everything. Gold: See iron. Coal: smelting Quartz: EXP Redstone: not good at making Redstone contraptions. Amethyst: Pretty Copper: Pretty... useless

Quartz as an item is primarily used for 2 very specific crafting recepies. 1.: Comparator 2.: Observer If you just want the blocks, than get real and trade for them with villagers. They sell it. (I also didn't remember the daylight detector, I guess that's nice too, Ijust never use it.) diamonds are kind of good for the following: 1.: armor trim duplication 2.: jukeboxes 3.: enchanting tables that's about it. redstone: hands down the best option. BUT! You can trade 1-1 emerald for 2-2 redstone with cleric villagers. So technically, you could have a trading hall with a ton of clerics, where you can buy a ton of this with emeralds. iron: simply a bunch of good uses. Especially 2: buckets, and hoppers. But the huge amount of options it has, like workstation blocks, I can totally see why you put this on top. If I were to rate them all: 1-2: Iron and Redstone hands down, way above the rest. No argument there. Either one of them can be rated as #1 or #2, they're both needed for most redstone contraptions, as pistons are a thing that need both. Hoppers need iron, and everything else needs redstone. 3.: Quartz. For the above mentioned topic of redstone components. Especially observers and comparators. Not really that much for daylight detectors. 4.: Emerald. For villager trading obviously. 5.: Diamond: Jukeboxes are a redstone component, even if they're hardly ever used as such. 6.: Netherite: best equipment in the game. That said, this relies on the player having a ton of diamonds. So there's that. 7.: Gold. For piglin bartering obviously, so I can get more quartz, blackstone, and gravel. Also some other stuff, like fire resistance potions and whatnot. 8.: Coal: Especially for early game use in smelting, and for all-time use in making torches easily. Coal blocks also look pretty good as far as decorative blocks go. 9.: Lapis: early game enchanting is pretty important for most people, so I can't really put this in last, but it is pretty useless 10.: Copper: Tons of good looking building blocks, and more importantly, copper bulbs. The copper bulbs are the 1 thing I love about this material. Only issue is, those also require blaze rods, which are a pain to farm, as the blaze have to be killed by a player to drop them. So I can't just kill them with entity cramming or suffocation or something like that. 11.: Amethyst. Those special glass blocks that don't let light through are fancy, and awesome for mobfarms, but that's about it. The only real use for calibrated skulc sensors is in wireless redstone, which is pretty damn great, I'll give you that, but not many of us use. We generally like if our contraptions have some form of control system we can interact with. Levers, buttons, note blocks, something. Removing a piece of equipment, and re-equipping it might be a form of input like this, but it's still pretty weird.
For iron, it's wort pointing out just how useful iron golems are. They're incredibly powerful, a group of them can beat an entire raid, or even the warden, and they're also used as bait in disc farms and wither cages. You can even heal them with ingots.
The trouble with Copper and Amethyst is they were added for the sake of adding new ores. They both were added in the cave update, and they basically couldn't NOT add new ores. However, their mentality when adding them was "just add them, and come up with uses later". So in the years since they were added, the odd use for them has trickled in here and there, but they're still largely useless. Compare this to Netherite (Ancient Debris), which was an ore added with a specific purpose right off the bat, and was much better received by the community as a result.
A minor critical comment; the video is titled ranking every ORE but you've rather ranked every corresponding material instead. I think ranking ORES would be very different. Diamond ore was (until the introduction of smithing templates) sort of obsolete as it was (and is) much easier to buy diamond gear from villagers. Until the villager rebalances the enchanting table was also not as relevant as at earlier stages of Minecraft development (as the more controllable way to get enchants is via books). I would actually place diamonds below coal. You only really need a few (to make netherite upgrade templates, whatever) and by late game when this is relevant you have a ton from loot chests anyway, never really requiring you to do dedicated diamond mining runs. Emerald ORE is useless as it's horribly impractical to get emeralds this way. So much that obtaining an actual emerald ore block is usually a notable achievement in a run. About netherite, you forgot to mention how ancient debris and netherite block are the only blast-proof but piston-movable blocks. This makes ancient debris essential for some tunnel bore designs and whatnot. (Interesting that netherite has this weird niche industrial use.) Gold and iron ores (though the materials they represent are super useful, especially iron) become impractical to get these materials. Iron and gold farms are not very difficult to set up past midgame. Yeah lapis is really bad.
Hey I know that you are Busy with your 2D Mario level ranking but maybe you can also make a ranking of every green star in 3D world it had never been done so far on yt keep the good content up!
Oi! What's the problem with granite? Yes, I went out of my way to get it. Several times. Why? I need it. In the middle ages, people used granite for walls. So, when deciding material which I'll use to secure my land, I landed on granite. And with evolution of my imperium, I started to need much more granite. Hate diorite? It's white color makes it (in my eyes) perfect for towers. I like to build tall, so I need also a lot of diorite. Andesite? Cores of my building. Staircases, elevators… Build using this. You see…I know it's popular to hate on these 3. But take inspiration from me. I took something „useless“ and found an usage for it. And life is great. *Smaradgs. You say it wrong. I don't use coal as a fuel. That's what lava buckets are from. And nether has a lot of lava. And I have a lot of things to smelt. I agree with ferrum. It is the most useful thing in the game. Besides of wood.
fun fact, a friend of mine out of pure spite, due to someone stealing the only netherite pick he has, when the whole server barely started netherite gathering, he decided to just mine out just about every ancient debris in a 10k x 10k block radius centered at the nether 0,0, he then made two maxed netherite beacons at his base to flex on everyone else, dude lost it

SOO relatable, iron is just the best ore, making weapons, redstone, and a bunch of stuff. I'm also plesently suprised on how high quarts was since it always felt under raded for.
Thanks for this awesome content buddy, you're the best.
Perfect timing for my food!! Love your videos!!
Same!!!! I have now acquired nutrition!!!!!
I would be ok with the copper placement, if copper wasn’t an invasive species taking spots for helpful ores early game
Ruby, gone, and definitely forgotten.
17:43, uh actually 🤓 when curing a zombie villager iron bars help speed up the process. This is why in igloos there are iron bars in front of the zombie villagers. and also at 19:00 tripwires are used to make crossbows

Every food source ranked. Every Music disc ranked. Every Light source ranked. Every armor trim ranked. Every classic skin ranked. Every tool ranked.
It's endless!!! ENDLESS!!! He'd go CRAZY if he tried...!
I love the “keep gambling” name for the pickaxe. 3:00
14:36 i wish the server I am playing on didn't had people thinking it is to easy to get Netherite-Tools. Because of this they increased the for 1 Netheriteblock.
Vanilla -> Server
36 ancient debris + 3 goldingots -> 72 ancient debris + 1 Goldblock
Iron ore is number 1 for me.
Well you really dont need it
You can make an iron farm which is the most famous in the game
Accessibility is a criteria for this list, and Iron Farms & its uses makes it even better with the ranking’s requirements.
@@eclecticenthusiast2997 absolutely, and iron farms could be massive as they could give you +1000 items/hour
i love this guy’s videos because of his talking speed. i love when youtubers talk quickly because it helps things process better in my head
7:04 look, a fox
My list is
Iron: Needed for everything
Emerald: You can get full diamond with it easily+ easy to get
Lapis: Enchanting
Netherite: It's netherite
Diamond: Would be higher, but emeralds can buy you everything.
Gold: See iron.
Coal: smelting
Quartz: EXP
Redstone: not good at making Redstone contraptions.
Amethyst: Pretty
Copper: Pretty... useless
14:20
umm 🤓🤓👆👆actually , lodestones are very useful if you are like zoro and are always getting lost. i personally use them to locate my house my nether portal location portal and one in the end portal. they also give compasses another use.
sooo.. in your future 'ranking all minecraft items'(please make one such video at 300k.) you should put it higher.
also really love your channel as you are making contents on my most favourite 2 games mc and the mario games. keep it up.
0:01 “keep gambling” 😭
17:46 "Chains and Iron Bara look nice and I personally use them all the time in my builds"
_Cuts to a build that literally doesn't use either_
there's chains on the side, they blend in with the deepslate a lot tho
7:43 I was today years old when I learned that a fire charge can be crafted
0:57 what is Blud doing down there 💀
what kind of idiot would want to add some smokey burnt ore from the furnace onto your clothes?
Quartz as an item is primarily used for 2 very specific crafting recepies.
1.: Comparator
2.: Observer
If you just want the blocks, than get real and trade for them with villagers. They sell it.
(I also didn't remember the daylight detector, I guess that's nice too, Ijust never use it.)
diamonds are kind of good for the following:
1.: armor trim duplication
2.: jukeboxes
3.: enchanting tables
that's about it.
redstone: hands down the best option.
If I were to rate them all:
1-2: Iron and Redstone hands down, way above the rest.
9.: Lapis: early game enchanting is pretty important for most people, so I can't really put this in last, but it is pretty useless
10.: Copper: Tons of good looking building blocks, and more importantly, copper bulbs.
10:16 IS THAT HOW YOU CRAFT NETHERITE INGOTS
because if so I'm concerned for your well being
yes
I'm not the only one who is afraid of how he is crafting that netheeite ingot?!
(Interesting that netherite has this weird niche industrial use.)
Gold and iron ores (though the materials they represent are super useful, especially iron) become impractical to get these materials. Iron and gold farms are not very difficult to set up past midgame.
Yeah lapis is really bad.
8:55 the gold block has a cow bell sound
2:06 YANKEE WITH NO BRIM reference in 2024 was not on my bingo card, but it was welcome nonetheless.

Coal is underrated..
Ngl this is the funniest video I’ve seen in a while. Thank you man. You’re damn good at editing, or your editor is.
You know what’s gonna happen when you put diamonds in fourth, and not second or first. Same with Netherite not trying to be mean.

I'm that weirdo trying to get diorite and Granite
fun fact, a friend of mine out of pure spite, due to someone stealing the only netherite pick he has, when the whole server barely started netherite gathering, he decided to just mine out just about every ancient debris in a 10k x 10k block radius centered at the nether 0,0, he then made two maxed netherite beacons at his base to flex on everyone else, dude lost it
so did he get his netherite pick back?
@@jayholland6023 og one? no lol, he dont lack netherite anymore tho lol

That's hilarious
Another thing with Quartz; it gives a good amount of xp when mined. Since it is so common, it can be a good source of xp early on
