This plays during a boss battle with the mimic sqaudron, who are two assassins named Rage and Scream. And what's neat is that the music will actually change up depending on if you kill Rage or Scream first. You should look up those alternate versions.
Rage and Scream are respectively the Guitar and Drums. Kill Rage and the Drums will start playing more aggressive and offbeat. Kill Scream and the Guitar becomes more aggressive. And by the way you guys should check ALL the Arcade Music from Ace Combat 5.
Ace combat zero epilogue is a nice reflective end credits song. Ace combat 3 revelation has a futuristic horror vibe. Also, you guys might like armored core music. It has a slightly unorthodox post rock vibe. As always, love your reactions guys.
If you guys don't plan on any playthroughs, or specific mission commentary, you should watch a summary or two for context. Max0rs incorrect summaries can be good, even if they can be a bit harsh on the series.
Good one, a lot of people say it gives them Ace Combat 2 vibes, but I think it's maybe only instrument-wise, because I can't remember any tracks in the series being as deliberately hectic as this. P.S. Speaking of AC2, I'll be around just in case you decide to listen Night Butterfly with a cover by Synthetic Mind 😅
Remember to use the Expert controls, they give you full control of the airplane. And don't stress, it can be daunting at first but oh boy, once you learn it it's like day and night.
This music plays during a battle between protagonist and two mercenary aces hired to assassinate him
Mimic's OST is absolutely amazing and puts me in a good mood.
The siblings?
We're not gonna talk about the siblings.

Depends on which Gen you're talking about. Older Gen are more electronic, while 4th is like you said post rock vibe.
Great music as always from Ace Combat!

I know it's not Ace Combat, but I seriously think you guys would like Lobotomy Corporation's "Second Warning"
