Imagine you live in a small town with nearly no contact with the rest id the world. Theres no radio, phones, newspaper, no form of commucit besides talking to the occasional trader. Theres no books or maps. Almost no one ever keaves and those that do only travel few days to the nearest town and come back. Now... how the heck are you suppoed to know where your village founder came from 100 years ago?
Also, sending a water carvan to Vaukt 13 gives you a bad ending and its part of the official canon. Vault 13 is explicitly trying to hide.

There is a mod to speed up the combat by a significant amount, it makes it much more playable
I agree with all your gripes about it. I played it when it first released and at the time there was just simply nothing like it in the RPG genre theme wise. That alone is probably why it's held in such high regard. Playing it now though.... Crawling through mud is very much what it feels like 😂

Apologies, I misspoke in the beginning of the video. I don't think Fallout 1 is bad, just Fallout 2. I really enjoyed my playthrough of Fallout 1 despite its flaws, but Fallout 2 was an absolute slog to get through. Regardless, both games are classics and should be played by all Fallout fans at least once!
I’m currently watching the video, but when you said “I shouldn’t of played these games back to back” I couldn’t relate more lmao.
After beating fallout 1- I went right to fallout 2 and had the worst time of my life, didn’t even finish the game. I didn’t realize how burnt out I was after only doing 1 playthrough of fallout 1.
After I beat 1, I felt great. Once I started 2… it was “Oh no…not this shit again” 😂 maybe one day I’ll beat it.
I remember playing Fallout 1 a few months before New Vegas came out, but never finished it. Never played FO2, but sounds like I'm not missing anything.
