Hi! Thanks for your input! Very interesting! In that regard, wouldn’t that resonance tube create turbulences from the flow bouncing back in the opposite direction?
Top Video Jesse! Thanks for that 👌👍 Would you perhaps know what is approx. the difference in dB? how many dB louder it is as the stock one? Sry, cant read it from the screen. (… and perhaps how long are the delivery dates? do you have some in stock? 😇)
Hey man! Many thanks for your feedback! This is embarrassing but I couldn’t read the dbs although I had measured them with my machine… it was out of focus. But trust me there is a considerable increase in volume too (not on the inside though). Exhausts are usually in stock, so no problem. Give me a call at the office and I’ll get you the stoc status prior to order! 🫡🔥
Hi, thank you for making this video 👍 Can I ask, how did the sound change from inside the cabin? Or does it remain quite quiet? (Which is what I am after). Thank you. D.
Great informative video. Just stop revving it into the soft limiter, that completely destroys the sound in general. Just turn Traction control off and you'll be able to rev it all the way up to the redline.
Hi, Where did you get the 29hp figure? hahah its 15HP gain on my part. Dyno figures to prove it in the video. No doubt about it, its 100% sure its due to the exhaust since there is an hour difference between the before and after measure.
Hi, er ist noch besser geworden mit der zeit. Schweizer autobahn sehr viel und auch schnellere geschwindingkeit und hab gar kein dröhnen. Keine DE Autobahn bis jetzt
Thanks for your GR4 videos! I'm expecting mine in early May. Want to drive it stock for a while and then begin with the mods - like exhaust. Have you considered the Milltek exhaust? Seems to be popular with the GR Yaris crowd, but have no clue about sound or extra HP.
Thanks for your comment! Yes I’ve actually sold a few of them. I just prefer the invidia in every way (looks, sound, gains, quality, etc…) I like the fact it actually looks jdm rather than a euro style exhaust 🤷🏻😊👍🏼
I've seen 12% in many different videos too. Its an arbitrary loss I chose to enter manualy, in comparison to other dynos. My car was already at 289bhp with 12%, imagine with 23% it would bump the figure up to 317bhp... which is not realistic. Also, don't forget, mine was dynoed in front wheel drive ;-) best regards
@@mrmorizofan7001 You are mistaken. My dyno doesn’t measure transmission loss. It is the operator (i.e. me in this case) who enters a number. Its a hub dyno, not a roller dyno. I used a benchmark of 12% to make it comparable to othet dyno. I am sure you understand
22-23% is in AWD dyno mode, he only used FWD, hence less loss. All dyno numbers vary and are irrelevant. What's interesting is the difference between stock > mods on the same dyno, assuming air temp etc is similar. To see the difference. So whatever total number he got is actually irrelevant, all about the difference. ALthough i'm curious how a rear section exhaust with stock Cat, OPF and front half being 2.5 inch (narrow) can suddenly make 14 more hp past 4k rpm. It's like a OPF delete and the flow isn't changed that much with stock front pipe in. It's not a restrictor and the OEM exhaust doesen't curve oddly (i've modded my stock exhaust and OPF deleted stock exhaust to look OEM 100%, I know what the backbox contains)....Yeah, no. Difference in air temp etc for more gains for sure. A rear section exhaust can't give 15bhp on this car, not even a fat straight 4 inch pipe or complete no-exhaust mod. Too good a gain for stock cat+opf on stock pipe diameter upfront. #Questionable :p
@@duffyt26 The Dyno settings are identical, the same day, almost identical temps... You will see in the next video, with the intake the results will be very surprising. One would tend to think more gains are to be had by adding the intake.... well I guess you will have to wait and see hahah. But I 100% suspect the stock ECU messing a bit with the results. Thats all I can say ;-) Time for a Syvecs with some tuning action 🙂
Did you watch the video? There is actual dyno data that proves it DOES😂 on my own dyno by the way...measuring it myself! No doubt! There is 100% a gain
@@JesseSpec our GRY ECU isn't trustworthy across a few runs sadly. Did you log the runs? Did you check the ACTUAL gas pedal position after the ECU changed it on both stock and modded runs? Because 100% pedal to floor does not equal 100% throttle in the ecu in this car. It's veeeeeeery picky and tempremental. That difference looks like my tuning attempts with 100% vs 82% throttle (because sensors weren't 100% happy and didn't allow full power on stock). But hey, who knows.
@@duffyt26 Hi, in both cases, I did as many runs as needed, by letting it warm up and cool down also to see if the performance changes. In the stock form too, I really did multiple runs in about all engine temperatures and those where the final results I was running into. I am on 98Octane fuel though. And when the exhaust was installed, I repeated exact the same procedure. I other words, I took the highest numbers in stock form and compared them to the highest numbers with the Exhaust... In that regard, other than the dyno logs with Boost and AFRs, I didn't connect to the ecu yet at all. There is a nice Syvecs on the counter here that will be going in soon. Don't worry, the cheap trick of taking the highest exhaust numbers with the lowest stock numbers was NOT used... come on guys, who do you think I am trying to trick here? 😂 That being said, to be honest the GR Yaris in stock form already has very variable performance when driving it, you can feel it even on the road...
The dead end tube is a resonance tube, so no gain , no loss , just it needs to remove bothersome resonances around mid rpms.
Hi! Thanks for your input! Very interesting! In that regard, wouldn’t that resonance tube create turbulences from the flow bouncing back in the opposite direction?
Great video with top content! Just ordered the same exhaust for my GR Yaris today!
Cool! Thanks for the comment 🔥👍🏼

Hahaha plus bavard? Merciiii man! Prends soins de toi et à bientôt
😍😍😍
Thanks for the video 👍, have q300 with invidia front pipe definitely feels a bit more torque.
Cool! Thanks for the feed back! I highly suspect that the ecu limits the extra hp output. I can’t wait to start tuning to see what can be done

Thanks for the reply. I purposefully revved it into the limiter to hear the sound. The I then later go past the soft limiter in the video!
Like the sound
As for power, an exhaust like this gives about 5hp, and not 29hp as you might get the impression....
