Looks much better but I'd probably do the 2" lift kit brackets on the front a rear with 28's. I'd also speak to an expert on ATV modifications to determine if any clutch work is needed. Ideally this would maintain the overall performance of the engine.
Super awesome video thank you so much for sharing. I’m getting a 2014 Yamaha Viking 700 for $4500 camo volor I’m not crazy about the camo ugly . I would love that he green one blue or red
Thank you for answering that. Every forum says as soon as you go to 28’s it has to be driven in low gear all the time and turns it into a complete turd. I just did my epi clutch kit and sheave with a nice belt. Mines also a Viking vi so she’s a bit heavier.

Should only be 1.5” taller right? 28” overall is 3” overall but, only 1.5” on the top and 1.5” on the bottom.
Wow this looks a lot like where I grew up in the North Valleys area of Reno

Think I’d be ok with 14x7s with 28x10-14 completely stock?
Does it rub at all when bouncing over bumps with the wheel turned?
I have 28,s on mine now and it's a hell of a better ride without rubbing
No rubbing at all and like dude before me said it's a way better ride
I have the same machine without a lift and I'm considering 30x10x12 mudlite xxl...does anyone think they'd rub??
I don't think they would bro. I was surprised how well the 28s fit. Should have came from the factory this way.
@@dumpjones my concern would be not only the rubbing but the strain on the belt...thank you for your response
hey did you ever try it? I have a vkg6 and considering the exact same thing as you but I think ppl think i'm crazy
@@MrGreenliz75 I was worried about lower end torque. Also the new top MPH???? I was hoping for 60
@@clinthemphilldid you ever try it? I wanna put 28x10-14 but I’m worried about the clutch and all
your old, stock wheels were 12" and NEW rims are 14", correct?
Correct
Do you have a lift kit on your side x side
No. Stock ride height.
So did it affect performance much?
Not at all. The cornering is much better. Acceleration is the same.

28s do rub.... F.Y.I
3” higher 😂
25 inches tires = hub 12.5" from ground
28 inch tires = hub 14" from ground
The increase in overall height will be 1.5".
