@reesecales7188 you can make these with a cutoff wheel no problem. I did stuff way more intricate than this with a cutoff wheel for years. I get the 5 inch one from home depot and put them in my electric grinder. Works great.
So how much lift did it give you? I have a 14 Viking myself with 30’s on it already with th spring spacer lift, and just put the high clearance Lower A arms on it last night. Wanting to add th bracket lift like you did. That’s why I’m curious as to how much lift you got. The 30,s rub when turning and in hilly terrain
You cant do as much as you want, but it really starts to stress the axles. I lifted mine 2 inches cause I wanted 15 inches of ground clearance. I have 30s and it would rub a little when I had the wheels cut hard while going over obstacles. Other than that it was one of the best mods I ever did. I've yet to find an axle shaft that will hold up yet.
Fab Junkie ya mine still only has 13” of ground clearance. Not sure why unless my shocks are worn. But th reason I ask is in order to get 35” tires you Gotta have the 4” portals and 3” suspension. Don’t know what factory ride height is lol I should’ve measured before I put th shock spacers. High clearance A arms dint give it any lift but improved the ground clearance
I doubt mine has that now. The suspension has settled quite a bit. I would like to have the Catvos kit but I just have to many other projects in front of it right now.
what do you guys think about 28" tires with no lift on 2015 Viking-6? Will they rub w/o a lift? also on the fence to go to 14" wheels rather than 12" but curious what ya'll think
You can do 28s. They might hit the floorboards a touch at full lock when u hit a bump, but other than that u r good. 14s look better IMHO. I have 16s on mine.
How did you cut shape your brackets
I use a plasma cutter
That makes sense not everybody has access to a plasma cutter should mention that if you have a plasma cutter you can make your own brackets

Thank you I will do it this week.

Fab Junkie holy crap I just looked it up $1600 for the A arms that’s what gives you the 3” lift
Cool vid
