I stumbled across your video looking for a video that showed how to refill a DI resin canister. I'm consider purchasing the aquatic life spot free car rinse system and was wondering if there was a way to buy the resin in bulk and repack the canisters as opposed to purchasing new canisters each time. Thanks for the video. Where do you purchase the replacement resin from?
How durable are those housing, do you think it will be able to withstand hot temperatures, like if I use to filter my Hot Water line, I won't be using Deionization Resin but KDF 55 for it.
it really depends on each use how much water I get out because sometimes I will replace just the DI when its exhausted and maybe the membrane or sediment filter is getting older and the TDS is rising making the DI do more work and exhausting it faster. So its good to always change your filters on time and use a TDS meter.
+death mage you can use the mylar bag it came in, just fold it over and tape it. Then put it in a zip lock bag unless you have a bag sealer for freezer bags that should work fine until you use it again.
Hahaha omg you actually do look like superman hahahaha great video .... very well explained and if your superman why do I need my passport ????? I'm gonna go outside right now and scream for help hahahaha
