Stop apologising for yourself after saying what you think bro. You have played at the highest level and know more about NRL than the majority, big massive following as well. We love ya. Say it and back it. I understand though I suppose. Sorry
Mozer has shown some potential but there’s no way he’s earned the right to play as many minutes as he wants. I agree with Tim on this one, apply your trade playing 35-40 minutes - probably shared with Walters as Hunt will play 6 (I’m assuming Mam gets 12 months).
Miss the great Michael Luck, sort of our Dallas Johnson at the warriors who I loved watching as a kid just a hard 13, crucial to the team that made finals 4 out of 6 seasons under Ivan (depressing that that’s our best run 😢)
Galvin is one of the best young halves, if not the best, going around atm and will be a superstar which is clear to see barring some crazy injuries. He's breaking his own records again this preseason too. Luai elite. Api elite. Bula yeah 2nd year syndrome, but has all the potential in the world and just from his athletic build etc too and what we've seen he can do already, definitely could develop into an elite fullback quickly. I'd rathar him over alot of other fullbacks going around atm. Yes im a biased Tigers fan lol but i love it from Richo 😄 pump some confidence into the boys. It seems to me the likes of luai and galvin thrive on confidence and Bula gets a rev up but in a positive way and Api is Api. Richo knows what he's doing as well, been around the block a few times. Its also just a nice change our halves getting talked about this way, instead of just crapping on Brooks for a decade lol. Tigers premierships soon.
Bula didn’t have second year syndrome. We just sucked hard this year but he still had plenty of moments and played great all year. Bula is a gun. Out and out. On paper that spine is bananas tigers gonna turn heads next year. 100%.
@dbo4506 Bula i feel did struggle a little bit at times but towards the end of the 2nd half of the season he was playing better yeah. I am pretty excited though for next year. Just pray we get some luck with injuries now too and not relying on a bunch of young guys to fill in again.
If I'm Pezet, I'm taking the cash while it's there. What if he stays at the Storm for a few more years, and does another ACL. All of a sudden he's a bloke in his mid 20's with limited first grade experience, and an injury history.
@@seanturner3447 the way O'Brien treated his halves this season was inexcusable man...chopping and changing nearly every week.. Pezet will just be another cog in that mess
I met fatty a handful of times he and the chief did a tails and ales night in newey a few years back deadset the bloke could be a professional comedian …. He will be missed he truly was the GOAT
Talking about Bird playing 13 is a weird one when you’ve got Bateman that would’ve been a fitter younger similar type player. He wouldn’t play lock at the Dragons because his knees were shot & like Guru said. His body otherwise it would’ve been his jersey for those years & at centre he lacked that extra pace because of the knees. Hope he can get healthy hope he stays on the field but we will have to wait & see.
I think assuming pezet can get good money elsewhere then he should go. Remember a few years back when mav geyer supposedly turned down interest from the storm to stay at Penrith. Well since then sorensen has been preferred on the edge and they’ve signed garner and papallii (likely a middle) and he’s played only very sporadically this year. Sliding doors type moment potentially
Beaksbag - in honour of the Fatman retiring-not so many people remember just how good a player Fatty was. He was a forward by trade but in his prime and on a Kangaroo tour Fatty captained australia and played out of position at no.6. So my question. Best rep performances for a player playing out of position. Cant choose Joey at 9.
4 is better than 12 imo. 4 full seasons of nrl, pre season, in season, and off season. 15 other teams now 16. Fatigue from club, rep, and international. 12 in a row is crazy as well, but contextualise it and that team had arguably the goats or top 5 and 10 players in their positions. Even more impressive since the panthers have grown most of their players too
The winger position is changing. Smart coaches want wingers doing some forward work out of their own half, and if failing that, they need to have some ball playing ability like Grant Anderson, Lomax etc. The days of a winger just being a fast guy are ending.
You guys seem really high on the low quality halves the Knights have. Guru saying it’s not a hard job to be a knights half, they all played like shit. If it was that easy they deserved to be dropped for not playing up to par.
Eh, they’re just average. They’re nrl quality for sure, just no superstar or all star level ceiling to them unfortunately. Every team needs at least 1 superstar level half to win and the knights just don’t have that unfortunately
@ true but you know that their ceiling is just that - average or below. Maybe besides Pryce, but he isn’t a halfback. Why not take a chance on a guy who has more potential. Can’t play any worse than their current halves did at times. Guru keeps mentioning what happened to the halves that took them to 5th place 2 seasons ago - Gamble was injured for majority of last season, and Hastings was dropped not only for form, but for bad discipline. He was trying to fight players on the field by the end of it. But I guess Guru riding for his mate Hastings till the end.

8 in a row has to be better then the 4. Now in saying that St George is the goat with 11, the panthers don't even equal half of what the dragons did where as Qld won twice as much as has ever been done before. While there are a lot more games in the nrl it is more forgiving, in the fact you could have a bad start you have 20+ round to fine tune it and still make the finals where as in SOO a few slow games and its over.
