Nice work on the azalea repotting. They never survive for me in the basement. Even the hardy ones for my zone in the microclimate never made it. I liked the opening of the aphids talking and then screaming from the soap and water attack. Hope the repot from the little pots into the big one take for you for some good growth.
@@dkstott29 Awe, I'm sorry! My Fabien Aralea did not survive. I'm thinking I will move away from indoor trees and try more of the native trees in the area. At least I can gather those for free.
@FrostBiteBonsai I have several other different ficus that are doing great, and my jades & portucaria afra are awesome. Something about the Ficus triangularis habits didn't agree my technique.. I can grow azaleas like crazy in the ground out in the yard, but not in pots....🤷♂️
@@dkstott29 We all have plant types that we just can't keep. I have trouble with portula/dwarf jade. My favorite burning bush. No potted ones have survived winter. I haven't had an apple tree survive a full year potted yet. It was the same when I had many aquariums. There were plants and fish that I just could not get to live. Luckily though, I have managed to keep my children alive Hahaha!

Thanks Tom! Once the temperatures stay above freezing at night, I should be able to start taking trees out to the trailer.... soon...
I loved the start - especially skellyton. Fingers crosse dfor the azalea - very sad...but the repots seemed to be a positive move. All the best
Thanks Xavier! :)
I think I've heard "high and dry" with azaleas, but I don't really remember.
Soon spring
Foist and to like also
I've tried different winter storage methods and they all failed with azeala....🤷♂️
Awe...😢 I will keep trying. If I do not succeed, I will not likely try again. Just too cold here.
@@FrostBiteBonsai I wish you success. My 2nd ficus triangularis died. Another plant on my kill list. 😳
