The Rolling Stones Charlie Watts Tribute, No Filter Tour Show Opening 2021

In September 2021, I had the great honor of editing this piece which tributes the late, great Charlie Watts and opens The Rolling Stones live concert on the 2021 No Filter tour. As a life long drummer and editor, it was a very special project to be part of.
Many thanks to Patrick Woodroffe, Sam Pattinson, Giles Maunsell, Matthew Sanger, Noah Campeau and Don McAulay for the opportunity, creativity, support and wonderful memories of Charlie.
Most of all... my heartfelt thanks and love to Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts.
I am beyond humbled to be part of such a special moment in the history of the greatest band in Rock and Roll.

love the expressions you selected. some remind me of their first tv appearance here. I was around 11 years old and everyone here was glued to the tv just like when the Beatles were on ed Sullivan. So you captured his joy, silliness, intensity and of course, the warm camaraderie. The colors remind me of translucent gels. Very pretty. It made me nostalgic and tearful. Nice work to put it mildly
