- In today's video, I share all the exciting decorating, setting up and getting mentally prepared for my baby sprinkle. From recruiting the whole family to help me organize and set up to hosting 60 people at my house, for what felt like a mini wedding. I had the best time and am so excited to meet baby number 2!

A friend was in early labor at church in the morning but was determined to go to her shower that afternoon about 35 minutes away from her birthing place. When the last present was opened she launched into active labor. We had a wild ride back to pick up her husband. When we got to the hospital she was 7 to 8 and had the baby a couple hours later

I love that you had a baby shower for your second baby! I plan on doing the same thing (once we have another 😅) because another baby should still be celebrated and especially since you don’t know the gender you will certainly need more things off of a registry! So excited for you 🥹❤️ I can’t wait for your newborn videos those are some of my favorite of yours. Also HATS OFF TO YOU for being the best mama to sage WHILE being pregnant. I only have one 13 month old baby girl and don’t know how I’m gunna be able to handle being sick and pregnant with another 😓. You’re amazing.
They didn't have a register and told guests they didn't want any gifts as they have everything they need.
If you're asking for gifts the first time then maybe ask for stuff you can use for a boy or a girl then shouldn't need to ask for gifts of a register the 2nd time round.

I feel you RE Thanksgiving. I was due on Dec 23 2022, and didn't give birth until Dec 28th. I was SO uncomfortable over Christmas!

At my babyshower it was 111 🫠 and then people didn’t show up. I had put so much love into the party favors and everything was out of pocket. I took a whole cake back home, the favors, the treats, the food, drink’s everything 💔.. I just let it be. Now I’m due September 7 so just a week left hopefully 🤞🏼

Nikole, I noticed that Sage have reddish-orangey-ish hair color. Do you or Matt have natural reddish-orangey-ish hair color?
Red hair gene can go back generations, it doesn't need to be the parents or even the grandparents that have it. My nephew has a reddy brown colour and it was a great grandparent who had that colour.
About that age my youngest daughter dropped naps and slept from 9 to 9
I’m not ready to drop naps! 😆
My youngest daughter, who is almost exactly the same age as Sage, has dropped her naps on most days, but she still does “quiet time” in her room during her previous nap time, as does my older daughter, who is 5
@@HealthNutNutrition we replaced naps with quiet time. Is going on until today. (They are 9 and 6) When baby two came, that was so helpful!

The forecast for the entire week was pure rain and we were having an outside party 😬 I was so stressed about it because it’s been such a rainy summer. The weather gods came in and we got so much sunshine. Literally the morning of it was pouring everywhere except our backyard 😅

My friend has her baby shower at 34 weeks. 6 hrs later she had her baby after the shower finished

We’ve had a very chill summer with me being pregnant so I feel like we saved a lot of money there 😅 and it was really important to us to celebrate baby 2 coming with our friends and family. We love to host so we don’t mind ☺️

I agree. Normally 2nd "baby showers" are small, with no gifts. Just food for the guests to celebrate. Her daughter is still so young. So she has everything
We actually specifically told our guests to not bring gifts but thank you for your negativity ✌🏼we already have everything we need for baby 2 we wanted to celebrate as we had sage in 2020 and didn’t get to see a lot of our close friends
She can do as she pleases.!! Dont watch her channel and then have negative comments. No need for that.
I rarely leave comments, but i had to say, you are pregnant, gorgeous, you and Matt are amazing parents to little Sage and little baby that is coming soon is so blessed. I think most people would like to have relationship you and Matt have. So all the negative people are either just jealous or so unsatisfied with their lives....Never understood how people can write negative comments??! :( Dear Nicole, whenever you get a negative comment, my advice dont stress for a second..always remember that even on the most adorable videos on youtube (like babies smiling), there are some idiots and negative people who write bad stuff...So enjoy us, your real followers who are so excited for you! @@HealthNutNutrition All the best
After my pandemic baby I also had a baby shower with my 2nd baby this year. Its about celebrating and being together, not about material items. We already had all the baby things saved from the first.
