The pliers you were asking about on the round cut in the jaws are used to remove and install the spring hose clamps on vehicle radiators. At least that what I used those for
@@thetoolbandit I agree with you not for the round Corbin style wire hose clamps as would have to have a forward slot also looks like some type of dedicated use pliers a one off special for one industry.
Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are gonna get. Christmas all the time. Sure looks like fun going through all the tools. Very nice.
The last factory in SC has been torn down ending the history of a fine tool company. Many people do not realize Bonney Loc-Rite was the original off gripping edge style of sockets and wrenches and Snap-On stole it and called it flank drive and ended up loosing in court when Utica Bonney sued them and won. Utica pliers had a section in the catalog of nothing but phone company special pliers and tools some odd stuff. Triangle Tool group was when those red boxes were made but later all became part of Cooper group which is when it all went wrong as Crescent tool company won the corporate lead and they discontinued Bonney which is criminal. The little mini pliers with green or tan grips are electronics pliers or cutters. What a great industrial tools brand gone forever and it is sad.

No, these are not from ebay. I found a private source. Thanks for watching!
Those cutaway side cutters appear to be flush cut pliers.
