So well done to such an underrated character. His storyline ended up being so sad.
And completely utterly different to the comics when he is a murdering child killing cannibal
@@Henbot whoa that’s how he is in the comics?! 😱
@@gaby0189x read the comics, don't get spoilerd.
Be careful, but the Comics are really good and brutal and much more political uncorrect.
But different, really different.
@Алина Аленина it’s not his fault his brains are jumbled
Yeah, essentially turning one of the scariest villains ever made into a teddy bear victim is pretty hilarious.
so well done, the cartoon stuff really added to it imo. It tells you a lot about Noir, his mindset, and his path.
Tells you about Noir in the show, the one in the comics is a cannibal child murderer
@@Henbot the boys show > comic
The cartoon stuff means that he has brain trauma dude
The way soldier boy says "I will put you in the FUCKING GROUND" is really something. A whole team of superpowered people. They have real power. And all of them together were STILL terrified of ONE GUY. I guess that;s the same with HL. But "you think you look cool? Son... you're wearing a cape"
Seeing black noir talk about not wearing the mask and then deciding to wear it..everything makes so much sense.
In the comics he murders many many people and eats them
@@Henbot who cares
@@Henbot thanks for reminding me that the comics sucks, now I can appreciate show!Black Noir even more!
@@vivannet231 I wouldn't say that the comics sucks, it's pretty good and its quality allowed for the show to be made in the first place, but it's true that it wasn't solid everywhere and a few plot lines felt lackluster.
Maeve and Noir's story for instance. The G-Men arc however, I really hope we'll get to see it. It was super f*cked up but at the same time gave some insight as to why so few secrets get out from the hero victims.
@@vivannet231 not that their bad, it’s that their insane
I gotta admit, The Boys is one of the best shows I’ve ever watched
ahh you again
Every where I go i see you
ehh its alright, there are much better shows tho
@@Afflictamine Did you catch the part where he wrote "i've" :D
@@Afflictamine my guy, you must have some insane standards for TV shows
"Bravery isn't having no fear, bravery is having fear... but you do it anyway" Such a fantastic video, Zurik. Your ability to make such an emotional video on a character who doesn't have a lot of content to work with and doesn't speak is amazing. Really loved this, brother!
Thank you so much, brother!!!
@@Zurik23M Zurik can you make tribute with Katana from Suicide Squad. Her story in the film is short but very emotional
They could have used him plenty more, but they clearly didn't know what to use him for after changing Black Noir from being the ending point of the comics into a background character, the previous seasons he was vicious, but it clears they just couldn't think about how to use him.
I think it’s safe to say Noir had had the toughest life out of everyone on the show. His past is so traumatic, we had to see it for ourselves in the form of a damn animation. Noir’s fear or Soldier Boy, his loyalty to Homelander, his dedication to his mission. This man is truly is a one of a kind warrior
“Not you Noir, you’ve been great!”
Damn dude. That hit me in the feels way harder than it should have.
I like to think that Black Noir knew he was gonna get killed either way by Homelander in that moment, so he instead he just told him outright that yeah, he was keeping secrets from him. So in the end you can say he basically died in an act of bravery.
it makes me mad the dirt the writers did to him
I mean, we all were expecting more of him, he deserved more screen time and more development and things were going the right way (or at least it seemed to)
and the fact that he DID warn Homelander about how bad Soldier Boy was, I mean
if Homelander doesn't regret killing Noir in the next season it would be disappointing
I think he's getting cloned and coming back or something along those lines of what the director said
I don’t think he’s dead , in that cartoon play his brain is literally out of his skull , and he survived so maybe his true power is that no matter what he can’t die .
@@Twigssss I think it's more about enhanced regeneration. It can reach its limit but I choose to believe for now that, unless he dies instantly, Noir can come back.
We'll see if the next season gives some truth to that.
It seems like his arc was rushed for some reason, I guess they didn’t want him to take soldier boy’s spotlight
He won't, but it was clear they didn't know what to do with him after they completely removed his purpose from the storyline when they changed him.
Damn I never even watched the show but this hurt and I feel like I know the guy now. Great tribute to this character.
Thank you!
Suggest u to watch the show its really great
I feel like Noir should’ve had a better send off. He should’ve had his chance to fight Soldier Boy. I’m just imagining his imaginary friends cheering him on and shadow boxing while he’s fighting Soldier Boy…would’ve been awesome. Regardless, he’s the man!
Underrated charcter
Black Noirs backstory is probably the saddest of them all and the way its presented made it even more sad
The fact that you were able to do such an amazing video with a character that basically have almost no face and no dialogues speaks a lot about your talent! Once again, you managed the craft a wonderful video, well done brother!
Thank you so much, brother!!! 😊
two of the goats of editing talking
Black noir was worth more than all of you put together 💯
Damn the show really made me feel for a war criminal
The characters are so nuanced and human
Remember that Darth Vader is a war criminal.
@@RyanTCardoso sorry not a star wars fan
I think he's a way better "hero" than any of the other(well excluding Maeve and Starlight), the fact that he's still traumatized by what he did in Lagos(since his cartoon buddies tell him that they "got him through it") means he has actual remorse over what he did, something no one else beyond the aforementioned two heroes in The Seven, hell even Soldier Boy refused to take responsibility for the shit he did and ended up doing, Noir truly was just a broken man trying his best to be a hero within the confines that Vought placed on him, he's still done horrible shit, no way around that but that fact that he's remorseful and underneath the mask , he isn't even narcissistic makes him way more human than I thought he would be
@@govardhanposina17 I don't blame him for Lagos because didn't that happen accidentally when he awakened his powers as a kid?
Have you seen the last episode of the boys diabolical? Showing homelander's first mission that involved hostages and failed miserably
Noir killed the last hostage with no remorse after homelander killed everyonewith and it was just to save homelander's image and then lied about what happened.
And this is just what we know about there are other stuff he did that would've been classified as war crimes if not for vought's cover up stories.
He is nuanced yes but he is still in the same level as the others because I believe morality cokes in levels (if I kill someone then I don't have the admission to call someone that killed 100 people an asshole because I am at his level and so is noir)
Starlight is a true example of a hero.
@@mohamedelhediissa289 sorry, you don't need to be sorry
I always wanted a good tribute of this great and sad and lonely character, thank you
It's hilarious how utterly and completely different he is in the comic, he literally child murdering cannibal
@@Henbot bro we get it u read the comics congrats for reading that trash
@@Henbot the comic version is ass, this is what I love
@@greatbear2886 Never heard more garbage in my life, grow up, or you never read it, pure ignorant is bliss in your comment that you literally just decide nothing is good if you havnt read it or seen it. Like saying one movie you saw is the greatest movie ever made when you ain't seen any more movies.
The comic version isn't ass he literally one of the most terrifying villains in comics ever made and pure malevolent and vicious joker corrupting Lucifer that turned the hero into a villain? He is literally in the show, they just fused him into Homelander himself.
I didn’t even realize while watching the show that the cartoon literally even “closes the curtain” on Noir’s story and that’s dope I’m glad you put that in there
One of the most consistent characters on the show. Black Noir was a GOAT, and they killed him for it. But even though they did, I have hope he’ll be back.
How was he consistent when they literally had him vicious and nasty in the first two seasons? This season, they totally did an u turn because they realized he had no purpose anymore in the story after they fused him into Homelander.
@@Henbot that is wrong cause it's implied a lot in the first two seasons when he cries and shows empathy to the deep for the whale and tries in a fucked up way to comfort the little girl last season that he still has a fragile mind from the injury, he is a fucked up person for killing people but that's the whole point of the show is that everyone is not a full good person
In season 2 especially he's displayed to be very emotional.
Noir is one of the four people Homelander actually respected. Stan Edgar, Billy Butcher, Soldier Boy, & Noir.
Storefront too
and the milf
It was heartbreaking seeing homelander killing him, and seeing that homelander didnt want to do it in his face
Homelander: "Not you, Noire, you've been great!"
Also Homelander: 🤜💀
I didn't expect to learn to love Noir this season. Then they killed him😭
He be back in s4 tho. Both actor and Noir, but not as the same Black Noir.
@@globalbrigade3052 For Flashback scenes? Wait no, I forgot its Vought lol. They just replaced him b/c it's not like the public knows the face under there. Technically, our Noir will still be dead
@@mickey_dbeh6105 Idk. I just read that the actor will be back (in another role) And the Noir will also be back but yes not the noir we know.
the biggest in the comics, the most tragic character in the show. We'll miss you.
"Don't worry Earving, we're so proud of you" is such a sad line when you learn his backstory.
why did this actually make me cry though
Well done, such a sad and tragic character. They could have definitely done more with him.
Yeah, but they didn't have a clue clearly in the previous seasons because with the changes they made he was utterly out of place.
Hope he's not dead and will return in season 4
Zurik 23M you are really the best in this kind of tribute video to certain characters or movies. I've seen other tribute videos to Black/Noir but none that aroused as many emotions as yours, that's why I have never regretted subscribing to your channel thank you for your video.
I didn’t wanna watch the show so watching this was a way I got to experience it without having to sit through all the episodes. So thank you haha
Wow Zurik! I love how you edited Noir. He's a deep character on deeper level and his story is really sad.
You did an amazing job editing his character!
Rest in power, Earving.
Black Noir has a good way with words❤️
Too many emotions in this series.
When I saw Black Noir's death, I was so hoping that some of you would conjure up such a beautiful tribute! Thanks! The character isn't true to the comic but he really touched me in season 3...I always wondered who was underneath it and when you see what Soldier Boy has made of him...I don't think it was easy for Noir and Homelander ... yes he is Homelander ...
Thank you for this beautiful Black Noir Tribute
ngl, I hated his character in season 2 but found him to be quite tragic by the end of season 3. They pulled a little hard on those heart strings with the Disney-like cartoons, but it fit well. Great editing, cheers!
If you ever read the comics you would get a culture shock because he is a child murdering cannibal
Season 2 he was badass why did u hate him
@@TehPesky plot reasons, I think. Don't remember all of S2; he was clearly an antagonist in that one, right?
Outstanding! Makes me very emotional with the tune there as well.
Thank you very much for this incredible video!
Thank you so much!
I got goosebumps when I got the notification. It's a really emotional and beautiful video.
Thank you so much, brother!
this was amazing. made awesome use of his limited scenes
Love him. Bravery isn’t having no fear. Bravery IS having fear. But you do it anyway.
Amazing video as always. I hadn't even watched The Boys before seeing this and you made me love the character
I actually get happy when I see u make a video on a show I watch🏆🏆🏆
Great work as always Zurik🔥
Thank you so much!
it's so cool to know he has actual stans
Black Noir never deserved this 🖤......
In this world of "You made this? I made this." If you're actually the one who created thos masterpiece, You've done an excellent work of it
It's amazing work, really, thank you
Such a brilliant video on such a mysterious character.
I remember when he was drawing that beaver cartoon.
He was his best friend.
Excellent work on this! 👏🏼
It would have been such a nice bookend for Noir's sad story, if he was the one, who did what Maeve did at the finale. If he would have ran in, holding his guts, I feel like he would have got the justice he deserved. Now his story just ended without any sense of catharsis.
Hope he somehow survived for the next season. I mean they found A-Train in a middle of nowhere.
A-Train had his tracker chip.
They did a heart transplant thanks to the guy he literally dragged across and managed to live. If Noir can survive multiple explosions then it should be possible for him to survive that.
Noir in season one came off as the silent cold hearted killer that everyone was afraid of fue to his martial arts skills and stealth so it definetly hit hard to find out that he was scared when soldier boy came back.
That was amazing... You told his story perfectly!
It’s always the characters with the least dialogue that are the favorites 👌🏼
so glad you made this
We need more noir videos from you. Amazing charachter, Amazing editor. Keep it up
Thank you so much!
It was unexpected 😭. Thanks Zurik for this edit 😭❤️❤️.

🔥We are so proud of you🔥
This is so good!! Rip Irving😭😭😔😔
Watching this right now
He's not dead. He'll be back...
I believe they are bringing him back for season 4. Always good to hear.
amazing job
Literally hilarious seeing this video considering in the comics he is a child murdering cannibal that is the true villain who butchers Homelander and then gets killed by Butcher with a crowbar to his brain. His arc is awesome in the comics.
love how the show didnt go down that edgy path and created a compelling character instead!
Its not awesome. Its horrible storytelling. Im so glad the show didn't do that.
@@desmondcoppin591 No, it was a fun twist, and it is awesome due to how horrifying he is, especially when he rapes even Hughie, the story twist that the main bad guy had the choice to not be a bad guy, but convinced himself and chose to be the villain is great proper serpent and joker level, pure malevolent and infernal.
Along with the fact that Black Noir would be stronger because he was designed to kill Homelander, you are just a whining because you don't get that comic book stories did crazy twist like that all the time, which is why it is a part of his satire of the medium but still great, Black Noir one of the scariest bad guys ever, someone as strong as Superman and completely psychotic is great.
They just fused Homelander and Black Noir into one body, the Crazy Homelander is just Black Noir from the Comics, frankly.
@@HeinekenGlory The fact you think Black Noir being the true protagonist is edgy is embarrassing.
The whole point is him being full-blown evil Lucifer joker type that literally corrupts Homelander/Superman from being able to be a good guy is plenty compelling character. He is literally one of the scariest villains ever made.
You are just a crybaby, they even fused that Black Noir into Homelander in the show anyway, so they show did do it, just re-positioned it. All you are whining cry babies still don't get how the show is actually following the comics pretty well but just rearranging things.
Love this!!!
Thank you so much!
Love your videos dude. Would love a tribute to Mike Ehrmantraut from breaking bad/better call saul
I feel so bad for Noir he didn't deserve that 😭
This is so sad, I bet it would even hurt Homelander
amazing edit. Please make a video about Homelander
imagine getting killed by the son of your bully
Awesome! Please can you make one of Ranking of kings
A misused character, I hope he's back in season 4!
Awesome as normal.
One thing about Noir,he did end up being great. Maybe not the “Axle Foley” way but just being himself. I honestly don’t think Soldier boy would of killed him anyway. He probably would’ve made him watch as he killed HL and Ryan and stepped in to be the number one Supe as the public remembered him. Taking all the glory for himself and absolutely loving it! Social Media and the shows and rescues to feed his ego. I don’t think he’s dead. HL realized that Noir didn’t tell him the truth about Soldier boy for a reason. He never told the remaining 3 that Noir was dead. Just insinuated it by carrying his mask. I’m thinking the real Noir will make a recovery and take out the clone Noir and eventually beat Soldier boy. That’s one fight he deserves to win.
Unironically the best character on the show
Lovely!!!
At the end, somebody needs to say "Black Noir, they say you don't feel pain?".... Silence..... "I do."
Nice tribute
A fitting tribute.
Thank you so much!
you gave him such a dignity
amazing
Nice mate
Another great editing. I'm very sad, and little upset. Black-Noir could be a very interesting character for season 4. Hope he's not really dead.
We will Miss you black Noir
Homelander didn't want to kill him. But the guy is already that paranoid, he doesn't appreciate that he doesn't have control.
Well at least Noir could finally rest.
Love to see another amazing tribute/edit about an amazing character! Haven’t watched a single episode of The Boys and I love to watch tributes to get me into the shows! I think you’ve done just that with this tribute! Great work Zurik, your content is top notch as always! 🙌
