Most of us wouldn't go to burning man, but I know of a group of Christians, led by Carl Teichrib, who go and set up a "camp of the unknown god," and like Paul in Acts 17, share Jesus with these lost souls. When it comes around next year, pray for these folks and their witness!
For sure. I think the church as a whole, save for a remnant, have missed the fact that we are called to GO OUT INTO THE NATIONS, not create little cliques and shame and guilt people into staying away from the church. Places like these are prime spots to target and spiritually manipulate those not covered by the MOST HIGH GOD’s grace and mercy. We can offer and extend covering to those who don’t have defended cities, who’s walls are down and up for the taking of any wizard witch and or spirit. YALL, we are their only hope. GOD has raised up, and continues to raise up, a generation of warriors (the Joshua generations), who are being loosed into these areas of life that have been long time strongholds of the enemy. Chaos has been bound in the heavens. In the seas chaos is no more. Law and order has docked as our shores. The will of the ALMIGHTY LORD is all that the entirety of this earth has in store, And baby, it’s reaping harvest season. The babes of Christ and his ascended sons have been sealed. The doors of the ark have been closed. The reapers have been loosed. His children are reaping the BOUNTIFUL FEAST PREPARED BY THE MOST HIGH GOD, while all the wicked are forced fed the death and chaos and violence they intended for the innocent, for their victims. There was a group from Idaho that used to go, but they stopped about 5 years ago as they felt their time there was done. There's a testimony on The Ren of Men channel on youtube by a guy who they ministered to.

I joyfully shared the gospel of Jesus with my friend at the time but she thought I was stepping away from my “enlightenment”, although God freed me from many insecurities I know she still held onto. I had an opportunity to go to burning man as an EMT because my fire chief at the time, runs the make shift hospital with his wife. I wasn't even a Christian at the time, although raised as one. And even I, after sitting down with my chief for an hour, looking at photo alums and listening to story's from him and his wife, knew in my heart I could have no part of it. I am so glad I declined that opportunity. About two years later, I returned to christ, and am baptized into the faith. God is good.

As a 31 year old who has really began realizing how wrong I’ve been living for my own self and by my own accord, I have spent most of this year beginning the journey of returning to Christianity. I read the Bible daily. I am beginning to really comprehend Jesus and his teachings, as well as his offering. I have let go of portions of my life that aren’t in accordance with God’s will. I am at the actual beginning of my journey, but I am honest, genuine and committed as I begin this. She can be as well. I know for a fact my parents have spent the last decade of my life praying for me, and I want you to not give up hope. It might take her time, and she will get hurt along the way by her own actions and beliefs, but Jesus is for everyone, including her. It’s not a matter of her having lived an impossibly perfect life, it’s a matter of her really comprehending that this world is full of evil, that sin is slavery, and that the Bible offers the truth as well as the solution to it all. It just might take time. For those who are willing to actually learn, some of the best lessons have to be learned by getting burned too many times. If she comes around to realizing this, it will be by recognizing how miserable and tiring her choices are and through reflection on the fact that the pursuit of one’s self is both frivolous and empty. Pray for her to really recognize that. At best, we get fleeting moments of fake fulfillment when we live that way, but anyone who can honestly assess that lifestyle knows it’s miserable. It just comes down to them being able to recognize it and realize it doesn’t have to be that way.

We live near Burning Man and everything you say is true. The people I know who attend are well to do, “normal” people 360 days out of the year…professors, EMT’s, school teachers, nurses, etc. Then the weird freak stuff comes out for 5 days at Burning Man. I’ve noticed they mostly lean libertarian, which makes sense. It’s a very live and let live, zero judgment, polyamorous, no boundaries environment…which sounds nice when you live a monotonous, hard working day-to-day life and think total freedom and depravity will fill your soul. 😢 You are so right that it is the promising the upside down of Christianity & Christian fulfillment.
This right here. I know 2 people who went this year and that’s exactly who they are. My husband and I submitted to Christ and stopped going to festivals, we went with them a couple years back. I saw on Facebook they went this year. I don’t remember what he does but she is an elementary school teacher and she has a ❄️ habit and other stuff too. These are the places where they can go and “be free”. I am so glad God saved me from this very evil, very deceptive lifestyle. Those in the comments saying it’s fine for Christians to go as long as you don’t participate in the “bad stuff” make me sad. God says to turn away from even the appearance of evil aka guilty by association. All these people are lost and desperately searching for only what God can give.
I recently had a conversation with a man that I see at work often. One of my coworkers died randomly. He was only in his 30s with no medical issues and relatively healthy so this is what that guy was asking me about. I spoke with conviction about jesus and actually looking forward to justice and the end of days. I am pretty convinced he went from almost believing to actually believing. Praise jesus for giving me the tools to have these conversations when the time arises.
I'm really glad that you're addressing burning Man. I heard about it from a friend who went there. It upsets me and troubles me to hear about so many people using drugs like that. I've worked as a nurse in a nursing home and I once encountered someone who was mentally disabled after drug use in the 70s. They went on a trip and never came back. So sad.
That almost happened to me my 5th time doing acid thought it was smart to take 3 tabs it took me 4 years to get back to normal and if I smoke marijuana I am instantly brought back to that feeling I think I have PTSD from it
This happened to my cousin (now aged 38) when he was 16 he did drugs and then was diagnosed with drug induced psychosis. And has now lived many years with schizo affective disorder. He now lives in a locked adult living facility with severe mental disorders. He spent 6 years locked in a mental hospital and after being a missing person and then found roaming around a city on the other side of the country we live on, confused, delirious and disoriented. Finally they realized that he was not able to function on his own. It was a nightmare for his family finally, the system realized he needed to live in a facility. 😏
I have extended family members who have gone to this event for years--before the internet was around--I had no idea what it was about other than my family members telling me that it "wouldn't be your scene." I used to want to go for one day just to see what it was all about--or go to a local cafe and talk to the local people to ask what this was all about--well, I never did any of that but since the internet, I found out more than enough. I pray for those family members who still attend and tell me they are Christians. They are lost. Thank-you Allie for your explanation.

Thank you for speaking on burning man, I remember a few years back when I was HEAVY in the rave scene, I had started to feel called away from it. I remember in the midst of that time looking towards burning man and feeling burdened for the people attending… it reminds me so much of when Moses came down from the mountain to the Israelites naked & dancing for their golden statues. Bible stories happening in real time.
Imagine 70,000 people getting together to sin. When was the last time that many believers were gathered in one place? We need to be praying for revival.
re: the school shooting...allie just want to say thank you for emphasizing that bringing troubled kids into the fold is so important. i had a lot going on at home when i was a kid and ill never forget the parents that treated me non-judgmentally and made me feel welcome in their home. But I will also never forget the parents who were openly judged me and told their kids not to hang around me. It leaves a life-long mark and can be the difference between someone going further down the wrong path or turning their life around!
As a troubled kid too, I agree. The very religious strict parents who told their kids to stay away from me hurt sooo bad. I didn’t realize some were more-so judging my mom or my circumstances rather than me as a child, so it cut me to the core. I felt so worthless. The only adults in my life who liked me, were the parents of my troubled friends or boyfriends. It created a weird feeling of needing to be around more-broken people than I do their families would like and accept me.
It’s crazy how before I was saved, I thought nothing of the name “Burning Man” and now, it’s super obvious that it’s a name inspired by the devil. His greatest desire is to hurt God and to see men burning in eternal fire.
I’ve been to burning man 10 times, my first time was 20 years ago. I was one of those new age pagan girls seeking, what I didn’t know. My husband and I met there 16 years ago. 5 years ago we met Christ and He changed our hearts, minds and souls. We have 3 children and have been back to the “renegade burn” twice. We remain set apart when we visit and hope to bring the church of Ephesus to the big burn someday. As the demoniac returned to his home and told everyone the good news, we hope to as well.. People ARE seeking there. Yes there are jerks and really satanic things out there. But there is a lot of beauty too. It’s like nowhere on earth. I was lucky enough to have some beautiful experiences there- the best being my husband 😊
I am so thankful you shared this. I went in 2019. I loved it. We didn’t go to any drug or sex camps. We stayed in our comfort zone as far as participating and visiting camps. My husband and I would ride our bikes to the DMV and look at all the art cars in line. We were in awe at the imaginations. Truly talented people go there. Most are very lost and seeking as you said. God loves them too. He wants them to repent and come to know Him and be part of His Kingdom. May God bless you and keep you. 💚

That whole opening segment about the tragedy in Georgia was so perfectly done, but I wanted to especially thank you for the portion about making sure we do our part to try and bring the "outcast" children and their families into the fold. Few people think that way, especially after something like this happens, but it is truly ONLY by sharing Jesus' love and message with ALL people that this world will be healed. He himself said that it's easy to love those who also love you and are similar to you; anyone can do that. But to TRULY be a Christian means to love those who are difficult to love, those who are different from you, those who hate you and whom others hate (Matthew 5:43-48). You are truly a living example of Christ's message and the power of His love and grace ❤
I did the “Genesis” online class through Hillsdale awhile back just to get my feet wet & I was so touched by really studying the part of the Bible I never studied in depth before, because we all know Genesis, right? Well, yes but as is with the Bible, God always has beauty in every page & sometimes you don’t realize until you need to! One of my favorites is the fact that we all know that Adam named everything-all the animals, etc. & God named Adam. So Adam can talk with God about the elephant or ant or whatever & call it by name. But it wasn’t until God used Adam to create Eve that Adam’s name was really significant. He walked & talked with the Lord, but on how many occasions did Adam hear his own name being called? Probably not many until Eve came along. So she made him significant just as he did her! It’s just a beautiful example of God’s order that I never thought of in Genesis! That’s just so beautiful of God that the more we read His inspired Word, the more we realize and maybe recognize new things to be inspired about! Thank you, Lord! That’s why, honestly if you are doing a reading plan & don’t have a clue what the Bible is saying…you can check commentary or something but don’t give up because sometimes it just doesn’t hit immediately. As much as the internet can be bad, it’s also a blessing for learning and Bible study and I sometimes will listen to a book of the Bible read with music at night and it’s so comforting! To Allies point about being early introduced to sexual content. My parents were really into scary movies. I remember watching graphic violence at a young age because they thought it was okay. In many of those films there is graphic and explicit depictions of not only sex but violent sexual acts. They would try not to show us movies like that but when you haven’t seen a movie before and take your young kids to a theater with you to see an R rated movie… I don’t know what they expected. As an adult, I can now look back and see how much this impacted me and my youth. When I have children I will not do the same thing. My parents meant well but were not prepared to be parents.
I too watched horror movies, mostly with my siblings but my mother had no objections. It opened the door to evil. I couldn't sleep without a light on or even close my eyes in the shower without being full of fear. Praise the Lord for saving me, and helping me see the wrongdoings of my past.
@@mariak3212Same here 🩷 It starts with things that are “for kids” and cause anxious thoughts and feelings… like Hocus Pocus (the concept of evil women, witches, who eat children), or Coraline (a demon who can pretend to be loving to trap you, incompetent adults who ignore a child in distress and she has to save herself and her parents), or Corpse Bride (a fiancé murders his soon-to-be wife and leaves her body in the forest, a man accidentally awakens a dead woman who takes him to the underworld with her). There is a thrill to surviving seeing scary things, the adrenaline rush can be so so so addicting. I started with Poltergeist, Hocus Pocus and Coraline, then started watching true horror as a preteen like Saw and The Grudge, and many many others. Now as a grown woman who *KNOWS BETTER* and understands these things open spiritual doors that I’d rather have shut, I still struggle with watching horror movies! 😞 I had terrible nightmares my whole life and was so scared to shower alone or sleep alone, yet secretly scared that any adults in the home with me would hurt me. Watching 100s of demonic horror movies over the years truly worsened my mental health. Good on you protecting your kids from that, I haven’t allowed my kids to watch any scary movies or wear scary costumes on Halloween, thankfully they have no desire to! 🙌🏻 I had trauma in my young childhood (s*xual ab*se, a single mom who wasn’t home much, a dad who went to prison) and after watching horror movies I felt brave… like “yeah I could handle watching that, I’m tough”. The irony, lol, as I’d be shaking in my bed scared to sleep at night, but during the day acting tough bragging about the music and movies I partook in. I wish I’d just had therapy instead.

A guy from Washington jumped into the fire 🔥 at that festival one year. The people I know who traveled there with him were traumatized and had tons of sad faces and heartfelt phone calls But immediately started making plans to go next year.🤯
@@marissavallejo503 Yes, I heard about that, too. His first name was Aaron, I think? He was a wanderlust kind of guy, liked to travel all over the world, try new things. He had no history of drug use or mental health issues, showed no prior signs of SI or depression. He just ran and jumped in the fire. No drugs were found in his system, when his remains were found. Perhaps he just got caught up in the heat of the moment.
I know a girl who went to Burning Man. She was a sweetheart, a lost soul like many others in the world desperately in need of Christ's love, not condemnation.

My mom’s boyfriend is obsessed with burning man. He has been playing video after video of burning man for the past few weekends that I’ve gone to visit and I don’t want to be rude and tell him to change it. He wants my husband and I to go next year with him and my mom and I’m like heck no I don’t want to go there. I use to go to music festivals like EDC in Vegas but after learning about the Bible and getting closer to God I have no interest in going to those sort of gatherings at all especially burning man.

They are highly unsuccessful at leaving no trace every year. And I am not even talking about the desert where they go have their ritual/party. I am talking about the small towns surrounding the areas that they travel through. I happen to live in one, and we know when they are coming through town. You can hear locals calling them “dirty burners” 😂😂😂 sooooo no they leave plenty of traces everywhere.

My neighbor in the 90’s was one of the first people who started Burning Man. He was a physicist, professor and a rocket scientist. There were not many who attended then. It was hijacked from corporate entities, who turned it in to what it is today

I was a hippie type when i was young. I used to go to the 3 communes in TN every year for different festivals. One was close and we'd take them food sometimes. I took my 4yr old 1x. I had the same conversation, (i did not take him during a festival) but i knew some people may be naked. The first thing he saw was a naked old dude and I'll never forget his face. I never returned to anybof those places and still pray over the harm that 5 seconds caused. He's 22yrs old, he still remembers. Later i found out that several young boys were being molested by older men acting as saviors to those kids, helping them with their sexuality.... its disgusting

PS: The male effigy originally was intended to be a female effigy inspired by the broken relationship between the originator and his former partner. He wanted to burn it on her lawn, but figured he would get in trouble for that so instead he and his friend burned the effigy on the beach, which in turn became an annual beach burn party until the police put at end to it due to the size and the large number of attendees/'burners'. Not quite how you would figure this transformational event would start seeing that it was birthed out of a bad relationship between two people. Strife leads to more strife on multiple levels.
I'm a Conservative Evangelical Protestant Christian Jesus follower, and connected to my local Assemblies of God church. I was the interim Maintenance Superintendent and Housing Manager for the Burning Man Project in 2022. I lived at Black Rock Station for most of my employment there. I also lived at the 360 as it was being built.
When I was only 10 years old, I was at a friend sleepover and the butler showed us pornography film! I could not process it, but I knew it was wrong and thankfully, my mother could see something was wrong with me when she picked me up from that sleepover, I never slept over her house again! Now that you mention it, we probably could’ve pressed charges against that man!

This happens quite a bit. They have "fire guardians" and "temple guardians" whose job it is to keep people from jumping in. They stand in a large inner circle around the effigy to keep this from happening.
Carl Teichrib setup his camp this year right next to a former youth pastor and has been having coffee and chatting with him every day. These are our brothers in Adam and our sisters in Eve. Pray that they become our brothers and sisters in Christ. Most folks look on in disgust when pondering 'burners' (the attendees), which is understandable. But lets not forget Christ's love for them too. Music is huge at Burning Man. It plays a key role in transformational culture/events. Folks should really become more aware and educated about what BM is about. The event is attended by dirty 'hippies' but also by world leaders, politicians, CEO's of mega corporations, etc. Google, actors, influencers all are fed their worldview and inspiration at BM. If you want to understand what is going on in our culture on a national and international level, pay attention to what is going on at Burning Man.
Good video Allie. We should be praying for these lost souls! We all are seeking something greater, and we all KNOW there's something greater. But there is only one God. We can only reach Him through Jesus Christ. We can only achieve true joy, fulfillment, peace, and hope through Him. And when we seek Him, He is faithful to be found and make Himself known to us. We have an awesome God! Not enough people know about Him.
It has always been pagan, and there's actually tons of music there- it's mostly EDM, but lots of music and the art installations are incredible. I went in 1999 when I was in the thick of the rave and festival scene. I never went back after that year. It was honestly too much. Too many people on drugs (I was one of them at that time)and I just felt like it would be too easy to be taken advantage of. Anything goes out there- people dont look twice

Seeing the 14 yr old boys father gave his son a gun "after" the authorities visited the kid last year about threats the kid made..? That shows me the boy needed (needs) better parental guidance!! I feel sorry for him! With all the crap on the internet kids are getting fed.,unless kids have a moral upbringing and ""hope"" & reality of God and a future in their lives, there is nothing to weigh their actions on! Evil is increasing in these last days. Deluded people, demon-possessed people, depraved people. Burning Man is Satan's playground. SO sad when innocent and loving, forgiving, full of grace Jesus died on the cross and rose again for humanity.
The first time I heard about Burning Man was when I was 23 years old and doing some fashion internships. One of the women I was working for mentioned she was going to Burning Man. I asked what it was, and she just chuckled in a condescending way, then said, “It’s a place where people who work hard play harder.” 🤔 Of course, I later found out that wasn’t quite the case. Fortunately, aside from the fact I’m a Christian, I am also a female with “Asperger’s” type autism, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, OCD, and ADHD. So Burning Man is an entire sensory nightmare. I have very light eyes that are blinded by the desert sun, POTS (so would probably pass out from the heat), get anxious and overwhelmed in crowds, and hate dust. 😂😂😂 Unfortunately, though, I just saw on Facebook that a friend from my elementary school days attended with a group. I knew from a while ago that she was into new-age stuff, because she invited me and another friend to a weekend at the beach where she was attending some new-age conference. We didn’t attend the conference but just hung out at the beach rental. She did invite us to a drum circle one night, and not knowing really what it was at the time, went. Fortunately, it was just kind of corny to me and nothing weird happened, but not my jam at all!
This is so so so true and I have NEVER thought of it this way. Guns have ALWAYS been a part of America and not until the last 50 years that school shootings have been a thing. So yes, morality is what’s changed.
This is very real, before coming to Christ I was a big time raver. They use this term called “plur” which stands for peace love unity and respect. We did trades of little toys, candy and jewelry. It was all made out to be a place where everyone is accepted and welcome, all peace and love. It’s very deceiving and it’s so sad because they really try to make it seem like love and light but it’s all a facade..
Allie, I always used to wonder about using “disobedient to parents“ in the list of sins in Romans 1. Then some pastor explained it from the Hebrew and a more accurate translation is “disrespecting the authority of parents”. And that seems to carry a little bit more weight and isn’t it what we’re seeing taught to children in government run schools? Aren’t some of these woke teachers teaching kids not to respect the authority of their parents? That doesn’t happen in the vacuum.
Burning Man is huge on creativity, and art. There is alot of live music. Everything is free, you just bring your own contributions as well. There are places to shower and go to the bathroom. But yes, full of pagan. In the vein of spirituality I was saved from about 3 years ago. Many beautiful, deep thinking people who desire enlightenment if you will but are looking for it in the wrong places and ways. They do have very real spiritual experiences as many in the new age do which is unfortunate in ways because it amplifies the deception. They simply need Jesus Christ.

I have a family member who is married to the person who was head of marketing for burning man for years.

The school shootings are only happening here. It’s tragic! My husband’s friend from MX said he would never send his daughters to school in America because of all the school shootings. i think it's multiple things causing it... demonic influence and/or possession, a depression epidemic, bulling, and the school system in general i personally believe at least here in TN where i am, is really bad for the youths mental health... i am spirit filled and when i was growing up i begged my mom to let me be homeschooled, as someone with discernment, it was a very heavy place to be in. i was in constant spiritual warfare in high and middle school. you take a lot of broken kids and put them together, it really seems like some kind of sick social experiment and it reminds me of the Stanford Prison Experiment where some, not all teachers, truly believe they have the right to be downright cruel to their students. Our success in public school is not found in our personal attributes, talents, and gifts, but on test results. It's genuinely a parasitic environment. Not to mention the foods. lol. but really... I think there's some sick people on a really high level if you know what i mean, pulling spiritual strings in curses and evil inverted prayers that have a deep effect on the kids. It's a spiritual and demonic legalism thing that's pretty complicated but that's my personal belief. It really reminds me of the book Animal Farm. Which i believe was about the Soviets but its a great parallel for the school system also.

I was homeschooled growing up and tried public school a few times here and there and felt very intimidated by the whole thing too. In the short time I went to school I experienced a bit of bullying so I went back to being in charter/homeschooled. I suppose when you take God out of the schools it creates this type of environment. A part of me also feels like the government doesn’t mind this happening either though (otherwise we would budget to have armed security officers on every campus). I’m not saying that they are directly doing this, but it’s a perfect opportunity to capitalize on their motives to overturn the second amendment. That’s what the people in office want right now. There's also an element of being in nature and hiking with community and church camp life. I was just telling my friend today my favorite bathing schedule was as a church camp counselor. We hiked 20-40 miles a week and then typically would sauna and shower on the weekends. No running water or electricity Honestly, I would love to do ministry at Burning Man. I love work with the "farthest out" and sharing my art with people. At a local art fair I've had lesbians in and crying over the story of the Woman at the Well and Jesus' love for us as women.... . The cornerstone music festival was a HUGE part of me following Christ. That was a Christian music festival but I'm sure we stunk 🤷🏽♀️ Anyways, I agree burning man is evil but who ate locusts and honey in the Bible who have no where to lay his head and were shepherd's clean? As far as Burning Man goes, we are talking about 80,000 lost soles. I'm sure it's possible that many of them have run across your comments. It would be really helpful for you to first do a little research before breaching certain subjects. Before I knew about the horrible things which go on at Burning Man, I did do much research on the event. The festival has good, clean bathrooms and tens of thousands of trailers which are brought in by most attendees. It is extremely well planned, so that it is safe and livable for all. That said, the focus of any criticism should be on the debauchery that takes place, otherwise your ignorance will make you look like fools, causing those who need to hear the good news you have to impart to reject you outright...
I don't think law enforcement dropped the ball this time. They did what was in their power to do. I think the responsibility from the point the parents were informed was on them to make sure he didn't have access to weapons and got help.

I have a Master's in Psych, and I can't stand how it's now used to excuse abhorrent behavior versus explaining pathologies, etc. I also believe those should not get away with everything or should be diagnosed and not be held responsible; there's absolutely a moral component.
Most of us wouldn't go to burning man, but I know of a group of Christians, led by Carl Teichrib, who go and set up a "camp of the unknown god," and like Paul in Acts 17, share Jesus with these lost souls. When it comes around next year, pray for these folks and their witness!

I joyfully shared the gospel of Jesus with my friend at the time but she thought I was stepping away from my “enlightenment”, although God freed me from many insecurities I know she still held onto. I had an opportunity to go to burning man as an EMT because my fire chief at the time, runs the make shift hospital with his wife. I wasn't even a Christian at the time, although raised as one. And even I, after sitting down with my chief for an hour, looking at photo alums and listening to story's from him and his wife, knew in my heart I could have no part of it. I am so glad I declined that opportunity. About two years later, I returned to christ, and am baptized into the faith. God is good.

As a 31 year old who has really began realizing how wrong I’ve been living for my own self and by my own accord, I have spent most of this year beginning the journey of returning to Christianity. I read the Bible daily. I am beginning to really comprehend Jesus and his teachings, as well as his offering. I have let go of portions of my life that aren’t in accordance with God’s will. I am at the actual beginning of my journey, but I am honest, genuine and committed as I begin this.
She can be as well. I know for a fact my parents have spent the last decade of my life praying for me, and I want you to not give up hope. It might take her time, and she will get hurt along the way by her own actions and beliefs, but Jesus is for everyone, including her. It’s not a matter of her having lived an impossibly perfect life, it’s a matter of her really comprehending that this world is full of evil, that sin is slavery, and that the Bible offers the truth as well as the solution to it all. It just might take time.
For those who are willing to actually learn, some of the best lessons have to be learned by getting burned too many times. If she comes around to realizing this, it will be by recognizing how miserable and tiring her choices are and through reflection on the fact that the pursuit of one’s self is both frivolous and empty.
Pray for her to really recognize that. At best, we get fleeting moments of fake fulfillment when we live that way, but anyone who can honestly assess that lifestyle knows it’s miserable. It just comes down to them being able to recognize it and realize it doesn’t have to be that way.

We live near Burning Man and everything you say is true. The people I know who attend are well to do, “normal” people 360 days out of the year…professors, EMT’s, school teachers, nurses, etc. Then the weird freak stuff comes out for 5 days at Burning Man. I’ve noticed they mostly lean libertarian, which makes sense. It’s a very live and let live, zero judgment, polyamorous, no boundaries environment…which sounds nice when you live a monotonous, hard working day-to-day life and think total freedom and depravity will fill your soul. 😢 You are so right that it is the promising the upside down of Christianity & Christian fulfillment.
This right here. I know 2 people who went this year and that’s exactly who they are. My husband and I submitted to Christ and stopped going to festivals, we went with them a couple years back. I saw on Facebook they went this year. I don’t remember what he does but she is an elementary school teacher and she has a ❄️ habit and other stuff too. These are the places where they can go and “be free”. I am so glad God saved me from this very evil, very deceptive lifestyle. Those in the comments saying it’s fine for Christians to go as long as you don’t participate in the “bad stuff” make me sad. God says to turn away from even the appearance of evil aka guilty by association. All these people are lost and desperately searching for only what God can give.

I recently had a conversation with a man that I see at work often. One of my coworkers died randomly. He was only in his 30s with no medical issues and relatively healthy so this is what that guy was asking me about. I spoke with conviction about jesus and actually looking forward to justice and the end of days. I am pretty convinced he went from almost believing to actually believing. Praise jesus for giving me the tools to have these conversations when the time arises.
I'm really glad that you're addressing burning Man. I heard about it from a friend who went there. It upsets me and troubles me to hear about so many people using drugs like that. I've worked as a nurse in a nursing home and I once encountered someone who was mentally disabled after drug use in the 70s. They went on a trip and never came back. So sad.

That almost happened to me my 5th time doing acid thought it was smart to take 3 tabs it took me 4 years to get back to normal and if I smoke marijuana I am instantly brought back to that feeling I think I have PTSD from it
This happened to my cousin (now aged 38) when he was 16 he did drugs and then was diagnosed with drug induced psychosis. And has now lived many years with schizo affective disorder. He now lives in a locked adult living facility with severe mental disorders. He spent 6 years locked in a mental hospital and after being a missing person and then found roaming around a city on the other side of the country we live on, confused, delirious and disoriented. Finally they realized that he was not able to function on his own. It was a nightmare for his family finally, the system realized he needed to live in a facility. 😏

re: the school shooting...allie just want to say thank you for emphasizing that bringing troubled kids into the fold is so important. i had a lot going on at home when i was a kid and ill never forget the parents that treated me non-judgmentally and made me feel welcome in their home. But I will also never forget the parents who were openly judged me and told their kids not to hang around me. It leaves a life-long mark and can be the difference between someone going further down the wrong path or turning their life around!
As a troubled kid too, I agree. The very religious strict parents who told their kids to stay away from me hurt sooo bad. I didn’t realize some were more-so judging my mom or my circumstances rather than me as a child, so it cut me to the core. I felt so worthless. The only adults in my life who liked me, were the parents of my troubled friends or boyfriends. It created a weird feeling of needing to be around more-broken people than I do their families would like and accept me.
It’s crazy how before I was saved, I thought nothing of the name “Burning Man” and now, it’s super obvious that it’s a name inspired by the devil. His greatest desire is to hurt God and to see men burning in eternal fire.

I’ve been to burning man 10 times, my first time was 20 years ago. I was one of those new age pagan girls seeking, what I didn’t know. My husband and I met there 16 years ago. 5 years ago we met Christ and He changed our hearts, minds and souls. We have 3 children and have been back to the “renegade burn” twice. We remain set apart when we visit and hope to bring the church of Ephesus to the big burn someday. As the demoniac returned to his home and told everyone the good news, we hope to as well.. People ARE seeking there. Yes there are jerks and really satanic things out there. But there is a lot of beauty too. It’s like nowhere on earth. I was lucky enough to have some beautiful experiences there- the best being my husband 😊
I am so thankful you shared this. I went in 2019. I loved it. We didn’t go to any drug or sex camps. We stayed in our comfort zone as far as participating and visiting camps. My husband and I would ride our bikes to the DMV and look at all the art cars in line. We were in awe at the imaginations. Truly talented people go there. Most are very lost and seeking as you said. God loves them too. He wants them to repent and come to know Him and be part of His Kingdom. May God bless you and keep you. 💚

The burning man festival IS a pagan ritual, not just this year.
Wow. That whole opening segment about the tragedy in Georgia was so perfectly done, but I wanted to especially thank you for the portion about making sure we do our part to try and bring the "outcast" children and their families into the fold. Few people think that way, especially after something like this happens, but it is truly ONLY by sharing Jesus' love and message with ALL people that this world will be healed. He himself said that it's easy to love those who also love you and are similar to you; anyone can do that. But to TRULY be a Christian means to love those who are difficult to love, those who are different from you, those who hate you and whom others hate (Matthew 5:43-48). You are truly a living example of Christ's message and the power of His love and grace ❤
I did the “Genesis” online class through Hillsdale awhile back just to get my feet wet & I was so touched by really studying the part of the Bible I never studied in depth before, because we all know Genesis, right? Well, yes but as is with the Bible, God always has beauty in every page & sometimes you don’t realize until you need to!
One of my favorites is the fact that we all know that Adam named everything-all the animals, etc. & God named Adam. So Adam can talk with God about the elephant or ant or whatever & call it by name. But it wasn’t until God used Adam to create Eve that Adam’s name was really significant. He walked & talked with the Lord, but on how many occasions did Adam hear his own name being called? Probably not many until Eve came along. So she made him significant just as he did her! It’s just a beautiful example of God’s order that I never thought of in Genesis! That’s just so beautiful of God that the more we read His inspired Word, the more we realize and maybe recognize new things to be inspired about! Thank you, Lord! That’s why, honestly if you are doing a reading plan & don’t have a clue what the Bible is saying…you can check commentary or something but don’t give up because sometimes it just doesn’t hit immediately. As much as the internet can be bad, it’s also a blessing for learning and Bible study and I sometimes will listen to a book of the Bible read with music at night and it’s so comforting!

To Allies point about being early introduced to sexual content. My parents were really into scary movies. I remember watching graphic violence at a young age because they thought it was okay. In many of those films there is graphic and explicit depictions of not only sex but violent sexual acts. They would try not to show us movies like that but when you haven’t seen a movie before and take your young kids to a theater with you to see an R rated movie… I don’t know what they expected. As an adult, I can now look back and see how much this impacted me and my youth. When I have children I will not do the same thing. My parents meant well but were not prepared to be parents.
I too watched horror movies, mostly with my siblings but my mother had no objections. It opened the door to evil. I couldn't sleep without a light on or even close my eyes in the shower without being full of fear. Praise the Lord for saving me, and helping me see the wrongdoings of my past.
@@mariak3212Same here 🩷 It starts with things that are “for kids” and cause anxious thoughts and feelings… like Hocus Pocus (the concept of evil women, witches, who eat children), or Coraline (a demon who can pretend to be loving to trap you, incompetent adults who ignore a child in distress and she has to save herself and her parents), or Corpse Bride (a fiancé murders his soon-to-be wife and leaves her body in the forest, a man accidentally awakens a dead woman who takes him to the underworld with her). There is a thrill to surviving seeing scary things, the adrenaline rush can be so so so addicting. I started with Poltergeist, Hocus Pocus and Coraline, then started watching true horror as a preteen like Saw and The Grudge, and many many others.
Now as a grown woman who *KNOWS BETTER* and understands these things open spiritual doors that I’d rather have shut, I still struggle with watching horror movies! 😞 I had terrible nightmares my whole life and was so scared to shower alone or sleep alone, yet secretly scared that any adults in the home with me would hurt me. Watching 100s of demonic horror movies over the years truly worsened my mental health. Good on you protecting your kids from that, I haven’t allowed my kids to watch any scary movies or wear scary costumes on Halloween, thankfully they have no desire to! 🙌🏻
I had trauma in my young childhood (s*xual ab*se, a single mom who wasn’t home much, a dad who went to prison) and after watching horror movies I felt brave… like “yeah I could handle watching that, I’m tough”. The irony, lol, as I’d be shaking in my bed scared to sleep at night, but during the day acting tough bragging about the music and movies I partook in. I wish I’d just had therapy instead.

A guy from Washington jumped into the fire 🔥 at that festival one year. The people I know who traveled there with him were traumatized and had tons of sad faces and heartfelt phone calls But immediately started making plans to go next year.🤯

@@marissavallejo503 Yes, I heard about that, too. His first name was Aaron, I think? He was a wanderlust kind of guy, liked to travel all over the world, try new things. He had no history of drug use or mental health issues, showed no prior signs of SI or depression. He just ran and jumped in the fire. No drugs were found in his system, when his remains were found. Perhaps he just got caught up in the heat of the moment.
I know a girl who went to Burning Man. She was a sweetheart, a lost soul like many others in the world desperately in need of Christ's love, not condemnation.

My mom’s boyfriend is obsessed with burning man. He has been playing video after video of burning man for the past few weekends that I’ve gone to visit and I don’t want to be rude and tell him to change it. He wants my husband and I to go next year with him and my mom and I’m like heck no I don’t want to go there. I use to go to music festivals like EDC in Vegas but after learning about the Bible and getting closer to God I have no interest in going to those sort of gatherings at all especially burning man.

I was a hippie type when i was young. I used to go to the 3 communes in TN every year for different festivals. One was close and we'd take them food sometimes. I took my 4yr old 1x. I had the same conversation, (i did not take him during a festival) but i knew some people may be naked. The first thing he saw was a naked old dude and I'll never forget his face. I never returned to anybof those places and still pray over the harm that 5 seconds caused. He's 22yrs old, he still remembers. Later i found out that several young boys were being molested by older men acting as saviors to those kids, helping them with their sexuality.... its disgusting

PS: The male effigy originally was intended to be a female effigy inspired by the broken relationship between the originator and his former partner. He wanted to burn it on her lawn, but figured he would get in trouble for that so instead he and his friend burned the effigy on the beach, which in turn became an annual beach burn party until the police put at end to it due to the size and the large number of attendees/'burners'. Not quite how you would figure this transformational event would start seeing that it was birthed out of a bad relationship between two people. Strife leads to more strife on multiple levels.

In 2017, a man ran into the burning effigy and died. I have to wonder if it was because of demon posession.
This happens quite a bit. They have "fire guardians" and "temple guardians" whose job it is to keep people from jumping in.
They stand in a large inner circle around the effigy to keep this from happening.

But lets not forget Christ's love for them too. Music is huge at Burning Man. It plays a key role in transformational culture/events. Folks should really become more aware and educated about what BM is about. The event is attended by dirty 'hippies' but also by world leaders, politicians, CEO's of mega corporations, etc. Google, actors, influencers all are fed their worldview and inspiration at BM. If you want to understand what is going on in our culture on a national and international level, pay attention to what is going on at Burning Man.
Good video Allie. We should be praying for these lost souls! We all are seeking something greater, and we all KNOW there's something greater. But there is only one God. We can only reach Him through Jesus Christ. We can only achieve true joy, fulfillment, peace, and hope through Him. And when we seek Him, He is faithful to be found and make Himself known to us. It has always been pagan, and there's actually tons of music there- it's mostly EDM, but lots of music and the art installations are incredible. I went in 1999 when I was in the thick of the rave and festival scene. I never went back after that year. It was honestly too much. Too many people on drugs (I was one of them at that time)and I just felt like it would be too easy to be taken advantage of. Anything goes out there- people dont look twice

The first time I heard about Burning Man was when I was 23 years old and doing some fashion internships. One of the women I was working for mentioned she was going to Burning Man. I asked what it was, and she just chuckled in a condescending way, then said, “It’s a place where people who work hard play harder.” 🤔
Of course, I later found out that wasn’t quite the case. Fortunately, aside from the fact I’m a Christian, I am also a female with “Asperger’s” type autism, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, OCD, and ADHD. So Burning Man is an entire sensory nightmare. I have very light eyes that are blinded by the desert sun, POTS (so would probably pass out from the heat), get anxious and overwhelmed in crowds, and hate dust. 😂😂😂
Unfortunately, though, I just saw on Facebook that a friend from my elementary school days attended with a group. I knew from a while ago that she was into new-age stuff, because she invited me and another friend to a weekend at the beach where she was attending some new-age conference. We didn’t attend the conference but just hung out at the beach rental. She did invite us to a drum circle one night, and not knowing really what it was at the time, went. Fortunately, it was just kind of corny to me and nothing weird happened, but not my jam at all!

This is very real, before coming to Christ I was a big time raver. They use this term called “plur” which stands for peace love unity and respect. We did trades of little toys, candy and jewelry. Allie, I always used to wonder about using “disobedient to parents“ in the list of sins in Romans 1. Then some pastor explained it from the Hebrew and a more accurate translation is “disrespecting the authority of parents”. And that seems to carry a little bit more weight and isn’t it what we’re seeing taught to children in government run schools? Aren’t some of these woke teachers teaching kids not to respect the authority of their parents? That doesn’t happen in the vacuum.
Burning Man is huge on creativity, and art. There is alot of live music. Everything is free, you just bring your own contributions as well. There are places to shower and go to the bathroom. But yes, full of pagan. In the vein of spirituality I was saved from about 3 years ago. Many beautiful, deep thinking people who desire enlightenment if you will but are looking for it in the wrong places and ways. They do have very real spiritual experiences as many in the new age do which is unfortunate in ways because it amplifies the deception. They simply need Jesus Christ.

It actually started when this guy actually burned an effigy of the man that his woman left him for. This has been happening for years. I’m glad you’re talking about it. People come with group art installations. There are some groups of Christians that go to minister to these people. I have a family member who is married to the person who was head of marketing for burning man for years.

The school shootings are only happening here. It’s tragic! My husband’s friend from MX said he would never send his daughters to school in America because of all the school shootings. i think it's multiple things causing it... demonic influence and/or possession, a depression epidemic, bulling, and the school system in general i personally believe at least here in TN where i am, is really bad for the youths mental health... i am spirit filled and when i was growing up i begged my mom to let me be homeschooled, as someone with discernment, it was a very heavy place to be in. i was in constant spiritual warfare in high and middle school. you take a lot of broken kids and put them together, it really seems like some kind of sick social experiment and it reminds me of the Stanford Prison Experiment where some, not all teachers, truly believe they have the right to be downright cruel to their students. Our success in public school is not found in our personal attributes, talents, and gifts, but on test results. It's genuinely a parasitic environment. Not to mention the foods. lol. but really... I think there's some sick people on a really high level if you know what i mean, pulling spiritual strings in curses and evil inverted prayers that have a deep effect on the kids. It's a spiritual and demonic legalism thing that's pretty complicated but that's my personal belief. It really reminds me of the book Animal Farm. Which i believe was about the Soviets but its a great parallel for the school system also.

I was homeschooled growing up and tried public school a few times here and there and felt very intimidated by the whole thing too. In the short time I went to school I experienced a bit of bullying so I went back to being in charter/homeschooled. I suppose when you take God out of the schools it creates this type of environment. A part of me also feels like the government doesn’t mind this happening either though (otherwise we would budget to have armed security officers on every campus). I’m not saying that they are directly doing this, but it’s a perfect opportunity to capitalize on their motives to overturn the second amendment. That’s what the people in office want right now. If they cared about our kids they would take action and budget for security officers at schools instead of budgeting for puberty blockers and destroying the youths mental health. May God help us!

Our kids have to go to school these kids need to be safe. I'm for metal detectors and police officers at school. I heard Kamala Harris say she wants to take the cops away from school which is completely insane.

Seriously nuts. I had officers on rotation in my school. They were good men and made most students feel safe. The only kids I knew who didn’t appreciate the police presence were the troublemakers.
Parents must have more communication with their kids...knowing what they are doing and being entertained by when they are living in their home.

There's also an element of being in nature and hiking with community and church camp life. I was just telling my friend today my favorite bathing schedule was as a church camp counselor. We hiked 20-40 miles a week and then typically would sauna and shower on the weekends. No running water or electricity
Honestly, I would love to do ministry at Burning Man. I love work with the "farthest out" and sharing my art with people. At a local art fair I've had lesbians in and crying over the story of the Woman at the Well and Jesus' love for us as women....

As far as Burning Man goes, we are talking about 80,000 lost soles. I'm sure it's possible that many of them have run across your comments. It would be really helpful for you to first do a little research before breaching certain subjects. Before I knew about the horrible things which go on at Burning Man, I did do much research on the event. The festival has good, clean bathrooms and tens of thousands of trailers which are brought in by most attendees. It is extremely well planned, so that it is safe and livable for all. That said, the focus of any criticism should be on the debauchery that takes place, otherwise your ignorance will make you look like fools, causing those who need to hear the good news you have to impart to reject you outright...

I don't think law enforcement dropped the ball this time. They did what was in their power to do. I think the responsibility from the point the parents were informed was on them to make sure he didn't have access to weapons and got help.

We are empowered by our knowledge of the Word for guidance and wisdom and knowledge of the other side so we know what’s being hidden from the ones who will petition God for change and protection. AllieBeth Stuckey should have gone into a historical account of ancient Celtic Paganism before discussing the threat Neo-Paganism of this age poses to young and old generations alike. She goes into so much opinionative detail that her account is mostly using emotive appeals geared toward the disgust of a person instead of delivering ethical and logical appeals against participating in this hedonistic and humanist practice. I have seen a handful of "okay" interviews she has conducted but most have fallen flat as they take too long to get to the point and lay out core ideas in concise and meaningful ways. Too much round-about talk for the most part. One thing I did appreciate was that she underscored that Obedience to the Godhead is true freedom, and that all humanistic attempts to make the self a god are hollow, counterfeits, or blatant imitations and mockeries of God's order and perfection. This is so true. Man can only imitate, but God creates divinely.

called hog waller . I never attended but I had friends that went and it was just as disgusting as the name sounds, totally depraved. There were a group of Christians that attended to serve and witness to those in love.
Burning man is a throwback to glorification of human sacrifice. You can find plenty of information about Celtic human sacrifice rituals. Patrick of Ireland was a slave for 6 years in Ireland. When he was able to be back in England awhile he began having experiences of God calling him to take the knowledge of Jesus Christ back to the island where he had been enslaved and had seen much pagan activity
I have a Master's in Psych, and I can't stand how it's now used to excuse abhorrent behavior versus explaining pathologies, etc. I also believe those should not get away with everything or should be diagnosed and not be held responsible; there's absolutely a moral component.
